Those students are correct!
Cancer does suck.
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
Accidental down vote due to fat fingers on a mobile device that I could not correct in time. My humble apologies and times ten about what you said about cancer.

Good slate for today - Michigan/MSU should be a good one
A lot of the favorites are on the road (OSU, Michigan, PSU, Alabama, UCF, Oklahoma, Oregon, UC).
Michigan @ MSU to start the day. UMD @ Iowa should tell us more about both teams. #16 NCSU is -17.5 @ Clemson...it’s the kind of game that could make or break Wolfpack QB Ryan Finley’s future. Will LSU have a hangover after beating UGA? Can Nebraska beat Minnesota for its first win? Stay tuned, sports fans.

I hope he kicks 10 xp and has 0 field goal attempts
The 56-0 massacre was a noon banger but remember when folks weren't stressed about a game in West Columbus and our backups were making plays like these? The good ole days.
I believe I'll take the over
How does #6 vs #7 not end up in a primetime slot? Do they have a noon agreement like The Game?

MSU is not ranked 7. Not even ranked in coaches poll.
I thought the same thing
Think that is a typo - AP has Sparty at 24
Born and bred a Buckeye - Buckeye 'til I die
MSU is not 7th. That’s a typo. They’re 24th in the AP and not even ranked in the Coaches poll. Hopefully, that will change after today.
Edit: kudos to those who posted before me.
I’d imagine it had something to do with the World Series which to covers. The Ohio State game is on abc. If the Sox series was still going they’d probably have been playing tonight.
You're too stupid to have a good time. -Dalton
Being from Michigan, this game is like The Game. They try to keep it a noon kick to prevent excessive tailgating. State loathes Michigan and it can get pretty rowdy.
We are blowing up the boilers by beating them by at least four scores. Tate in the 4th Q after Haskins throws for another 400 yards.
And with any luck, I land on Rill Dill’s list too. It’s going to be a good weekend!
Enjoy the game fellow Buckeyes.
Send the Earth Reverberating
Wait, there’s a list? What list?
In another thread, Rill Dill said he was going to publish a list of people that were overly optimistic in his mind. That he was going to watch other posters and that he was going to keep track of those people. I responded that I wanted to be on the list.
Despite my general enthusiasm for optimism, my wife's world got rocked last week. Her best friend called her about an hour before the Purdue game. Her breast cancer surgery that was thought to be successful turns out wasn't. The cancer turns out has metastasized. She's in bad shape, probably won't make it. My wife is besides herself. Been fretting all week. I didn't even know the outcome of the game until the next day. Today is the first day in over a week I have visited 11W. Makes you realize how these games are just entertainment to us fans.
It's all part of God's plan. I'm even now more determined to keep life in perspective. I hope I am at the top of Rill Dill's fucking useless list.
That first link is a doozy. It’s impressive and bad-ass that a 62-year old guy fell down a mine shaft and then killed poisonous snakes.
But also the guy is an idiot for going down into an abandoned mine in the first place...and going alone at that.
If they make it into a movie, Chris Ash should play the lead character because this synopsis pretty much sums up his career at Rutgers—went into a empty mine alone looking for gold, falls, is surrounded by rattlesnakes, and comes out screaming in pain and empty handed and in a lot worse shape than when he went in.
There are lots of gambling sites out there for those interested, let’s leave the latest lines and betting results to them.
Paralyze resistance with persistence
People bet on games, even if I don’t. I have no problem with any discussion about those wagers.
1. I expect Shaun Wade to derail Moore. Schiano isn't going to play rope-a-dope. He'll take away Purdue's top threat and change pattern to beat them with superior talent.
2. The FOIA story is nuts. In addition to the IT chief, I hope the functionary that filled the request is fired as well.
If Moore has a career day, it will come at our linebackers’ expense. Our DBs could be chasing him all night and into Sunday. Our DL has got to get to Blough.
Going back to the 2nd half of the Indiana game the Buckeye d backs started keeping plays in front of them. This led to more pass breakups and a couple picks. Yeah they pass for 270 yards but only 1 or 2 td’s. OSU punts once this game. Harrison deflects 2 passes and tips one to himself. 45-17
The last time Ohio State was this big of a favorite on an opponents home field was at Iowa last year. The Buckeyes lost that game 55-24 as a 20.5-point favorite.
— Chris Fallica (@chrisfallica) October 19, 2018
Under Jeff Brohm, Purdue is 7-2 ATS as a dog with four outright wins. That includes outright wins in three of the last four instances, with the one loss coming to Missouri on a last-second FG. The Boilermakers are 7-3 ATS in their last ten games vs Ohio State.

We better be focused and ready with our A game. West Lafayette can be spooky!
Iowa was different in that we were coming off a hard fought come-from-behind win against PSU and had MSU coming up. Based on that formula, @Iowa was a classic trap game. Purdue is different in that we’re coming off a closer than expected win over Minnesota and have a bye week ahead. And unlike last year when Iowa was seen as an opportunity for Ohio State to catch its breath, this year the team is under fire for under performing. They have something to prove. So while they may be looking forward to a much needed week off, I don’t expect the Bucks to be caught looking past Purdue.
And they just showed Falica's record this year on gameday picking, 8-12-1.
Similar to 2000 when the Bucks were trying to “right the ship”. Many people then weee waiting for the Bucks to get going then, too. Then Brees caught Doss standing still with the receiver alone behind 10 yards for the game winning score. And Cacchio batted down the snap.....
Always and forever, Go Bucks!

Hell yeah, axe man
Sooner or later it all gets real.
Do you remember a month ago when USC and Washington State played, with some non-called targeting? Mike Leach wasn't too happy about it;

Leach is my favorite coach, non Ohio State division.
A lot of support for Leach’s stance from fans all over the PAC12. Except USC. Hmmmm

Seattle Sounders 2019 MLS Champions
iowa (-9) crushing Maryland 38-17
colorado +17 losing but in a close one 41-35
nc state +17 losing 31-24 or winning 31-24 so either way take the wolf pack
Here is some good cancer news. It is going down. I didn't know that either, I read it earlier this week.
Beat Purdue and their ugly mascot.
How the city of Seattle could have released all of that personal information is beyond me. What a cluster that is in so many ways. I am also curious however to get to what Chapman's initial idea was, to find out if Chicago is simply being difficult or if all cities work that way. I am quite confident in saying that I am sure Chicago is more difficult than most/all other places-that is just how this city rolls.
Purdue will score, and Rondale Moore will look like a star. But there is no way the Boilers can score enough to keep up with the Buckeyes. I am with Kevin on this one. Not so sure I like the under in the battle for Mtten State supremacy however. That one I will stay away from.

I concur, expect a similar defensive performance to PSU and better offense. Game's not close in the 4th.
My morning dump is in the books, now it’s time for Purdue to get dumped. Go bucks!
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
TMI maybe, LOL!

Just do your job and win the damn game!!
MIke Leach is awesome. Fuck Purdue.
I Hate Michigan.
Bucks win big!
When do people start to consider level of competition to date in offensive and defensive stats to date? PSU too once looked good on paper until it played a ranked team.
Lets Go Bucks!
I think PSU is a good team, maybe even, arguably, a great team but they are clearly not elite. Elite teams find a way to win and PSU has lost two straight at home when they were leading Ohio State 26-21 with 2:03 to okay and MSU 17-14 with :19 to play. Elite teams know how to close. PSU will need to win back-to-back-to-back games against Iowa, @Michigan, and Wisconsin to salvage their season.
Are you really James Franklin? /s
James Franklin has the worst winning % of active HCs vs top 25 teams. That is great? LOL.
I did qualify my statement by saying arguably. Thanks for arguing.
James Franklin has the worst winning % of active HCs vs top 25 teams. That is great? LOL.
I think that's a little skewed. For one thing, eight of Franklin's 17 losses to T25 teams were when he was at Vanderbilt (1-8). Since he's been at PSU, he's a better but still unimpressive 4-9 but Harbaugh's not a whole lot better at 5-9.
According to this article, going into 2017, Franklin was tied for seventh worst with Dan Mullen at 16.7% versus Top 25. Worse were Willie Taggart (15.4%), Dave Clawson (Wake Forest, 11.8%), Dave Doeren (NC State, 9.1%), Mike MacIntyre (Colorado, 8.7%) and Steve Addazio (Boston College, 7.7%). As Franklin went 2-2 against T25 in 2017 and 0-1 so far in 2018, while I haven't checked on those other coaches, it would have taken a Herculean effort on their part for Franklin to fall all the way down from seventh to the worst active coach.
Nice try, but Urban has the best winning % v ap top 25 of all active coaches. Urban was at BG, Utah and Florida (SEC).
Franklin can’t win the big game. His numbers prove it. That’s why he choked v Sparty.
Geez, I identified my comment as sarcasm.
I asked if he was Franklin because the PSU coach mad the same point after OSU beat them. Just a tongue in cheek remark.
Franklin's winning % is no way skewed, most all coaches in FBS today started as a HC in schools that werent power programs, Urban at BG, Utah and Florida (SEC baby!). Franklin is the most overrated coach in all of college. Franklin is nothing but his own PR campaign. He again almost blew the IU game yesterday by passing the ball w 4 min left, (trying to pad McShorty's stats?)
Could you ever imagine Urban saying after his Purdue PR last night that he is running an elite program? Franklin cant wint the big game and PSU deserves him.
I guess OSU is not an explosive offense and that is why the one guy left it out of his tweet. I am hoping to see some improved play from the LB group this weekend.
Sometimes all it takes is one game of it clicking to get things going. There has been good play but not consistent.
The Buckeyes are rolling tonight. Book it.
I hope you’re right. I also hope I’m off work in time to watch the whole game on TV. At least I have satellite radio.
Well...if things don’t go the bucks way (which they will) I’ll be able to take solace that Tyler may have just had one of his best days. Best wishes to Tyler. Give that shit hell.
I totally agree with this sentiment. However the last time I got swept up in another team’s symbolic gesture was last year against Iowa. Even through the optic of 55-24, I think that waving to the kids in the children’s hospital overlooking Kinnick is the best new tradition in sports. But I also believe in the juju that comes with stuff likes this. It was on game day against Iowa that ESPN aired their Kinnick Wave segment. Now this. This is just another example of how ESPN has it in for us.*
*Just testing a theory.
i love all the optimism ..we had a hard time with Minnie..Purdont is a much better team..close in first half...we win by 10
. My only concern here is that the bad weather forces some sort of kind of freak scoring play out of nowhere, but even then I think there is enough buffer.
The weather won’t be there until 3-4 PM. I live 15 miles north of EL and it’s sunny and no breeze right now.
Except that they're in a weather delay right now :)
"We gotta go win this next game and make the State of Ohio proud!"-UFM
He must have a more accurate weather app than me.
Good luck Tyler. Screw cancer.
Hoping for a blow out for my nerves sake. Regardless, a win is a win, irrespective of points.
I have the Buckeyes winning 52-24 tonight. Haskins continues to build his legend and Zone Six stays incredible.
Absolutely, Cancer Sucks!
The word of the day is perfect. Go Bucks!
Fields of Dreams
Making Tyler's day would be the ONLY silver lining to a Buckeye loss. Still of course hoping the Bucks pull it out, but even that one minute segment was tugging at my heart strings really hard. Too fucking young, man.
Coincidentally my niece was diagnosed with her second brain tumor in fourteen years this past week. So yes f#@% cancer. She is currently at the James receiving chemotherapy and I am confident that she will pull through a second time. Anyway onto the Boilermakers and get this win!
“I don’t know what Tegridy is but that is some GOOD S#/+.”- Towelie
Get dumped then Boilermakers. Go Bucks
You can write all the scripts for people you want, it doesn't mean they're going to take direction.
"Ohio State is 3-4 in its last seven trips to West Lafayette.."
I always chuckle when I hear analysts use past performance stats like this one to predict a game. This is more an appeal to fans' impressions than to logic. How many administrators, coaches, or players are still around on either side?
Time for the inaugural Buckeye Gangang Against Cancer (BGAC, informally). Fuck cancer. Fuck it hard.
No way the Michigan MSU game is under 41 points.
Plain and simple Cancer SUCKS
