Cade barely in front of the voting so just a reminder to the posters here to vote early and vote often!

Looks like you can vote as much as you want. I've dropped 50, going back for more.
I dont visit Letterman Row often, but I check Cade's personal diary article every week. If you havent checked it out, you should.

Only three crystal ball predictions for Rylie Mills, all for ND. But it sounds like he has real interest in OSU.

So, not trying to stir the pot too much, but any chance that Meyer’s health is having an impact on the recruiting trail? With guys like Finebaum trumpeting Meyer’s exit from OSU combined with his discussion of headaches and crumbling on the sidelines on national television due to them, it certainly can’t be helping. Have you heard any recruits reacting to it?

There's no way of knowing the answer to that question unless something were to actually happen and any of that turns out to be true.

Dr. Drake had a huge impact on OSU's recruiting!!

Sorry Derrick, zoned out a bit at the last piece about Penn State. The first parts were basically bad ass. Mills, Stover, Hartline.

Don't understand why any top recruit would want to go too tsun.  They have done nothing this century, hairball must be paying some one or maybe he is offering family members jobs again.

The more I read and hear about Hartline - the more I like.

"I'd say that I have a large frame and can play on the inside very well, but I'm also quick and can play in a five-technique and rush the passer," Mills said,

Forgive my ignorance here but what is this five-technique and rush the passer he speaks of?

I could be wrong, but I believe it refers to an end that lines up on the outside shoulder of the tackle. So, basically, it's literally an edge/outside rusher.

Thanks JB22, definitely appreciate the clarification.

When you explain it like that, it makes a little more sense.

I'm just more accustomed to hearing it referred to like this:

Stance is the position an American football player adopts when a play begins. There are three common stances used by linemen: two-point, three-point, and four-point. The stance names reference the number of points where a player's body is touching the ground while down in the stance.

I guess that’s the difference between the terms “stance” and “technique.”
