Not a pats fan but happy Simon got a chance to make a difference.
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
Seattle Sounders 2019 MLS Champions
Ridiculous how long he went unsigned. I get that the Colts cut him because they went from 3-4 to a 4-3, but still...
While he's not the kind of freak athlete that the NFL fawns all over... he's a proven player who gets the job done wherever he goes.
Testimony versus theory.
#NFLBuckeyes proving it all over the league this week (including Hankins who himself went unsigned for far too long).
You win with people.
And so forth...
9 Units Strong!
Recall Mike Vrabel had a very pedestrian four years with the Steelers before he went to NE. My hope is Simon has similar fortune given his heart and love of football...
Ronny P Buckeye
I've long considered John Simon as Mike Vrabel 2.0
Succeed on effort/intensity/drive/intelligence...not necessarily freak athletes.
Watched a good bit of the Titans-Eagles yesterday...Vrabel was right.
Didn't realize (or had forgotten outright) Coombs recruited Cameron Johnston - the Buckeye connection across the NFL is strong.
Hindsight is, and in, 2020
Man, Belichick is going to get the most out of Simon. Unfair.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
This is about as much NFL news as I get, probably because I only care enough to follow Buckeyes in the League. Thank you for the weekly updates.
I second that thanks. My only interests in the NFL are the Buckeyes in the league. It was a good weekend all around for the Buckeyes.
Dang, if Nuge had been cut earlier, he might be with the Browns.
Conley sure likes picking off Mayfield.
"I find your lack of kalua disturbing" - Darth Lebowski
Conley looked like he spiked the ball on top of Mayfield's head as soon as he got in the end zone. I wonder if that was partially driven by the flag incident last year. We know a lot of current Buckeyes playing in the NFL were pissed off about that stunt by Mayfield and Taylor Decker even went so far as to threaten him on Twitter at the time. My guess is Conley was rubbing it in a little there considering Mayfield didn't have his best performance on Sunday (though he did make his fair share of plays).
Yeah, it did look Conley spiked the ball toward Mayfield. If Conley did it on purpose, he was probably thinking about the flag "planting." I doubt that Conley also knew about Mayfield pelting a TCU player in the helmet during warm ups, but what comes around goes around.
Sadly I was sitting right in the end zone to see that he only flipped the ball toward Baker. I was hoping for a spike into his face

Lattimore absolutely locked down OBJ in a Saints win.
Man….. this football team.-Jeff Okudah
Good for him to turn it around. Up until this week Lattimore had looked absolutely terrible this season.
He played very well against the falcons.
Didn't follow that game all the way through. I remember him being downright awful in week 1 and the Bucs constantly picking on him in that game. It looked like he was headed for a sophomore slump. Thankfully he seems to have gotten that out of his system.
He had a rough week one against Mike Evans, but is now back to being himself. Locked down Julio (and then Ridley) last week and OBJ this week.
The Browns game looked rigged. Terrible or good officiating depending on their' motives. I'm pissed.
You may as well get used to it. The nfl is no longer a sport and just entertainment, sort of like bigtime wrestling. Sports betting, legal and otherwise controls a lot. Money talks.
I just hope it is not as prevelant in college as it appears to be. Although the junior high coaches that should have taught the Syracuse defense better tackling tecnique and execution should be ashamed, the zebras made the final difference in the great Clemson win. Just one recent example of many.
I don't know why the NFL would want Oakland to win over Cleveland. Tiny fanbase and won't even be there in two years. If money talks, it didn't talk very well yesterday.
In putting the cart FAR before of the horse, Vrabel is someone who I hope gets serious consideration from Ohio State whenever Meyer leaves. I doubt he would leave the NFL as he went there as fast as he could, and I wouldn't blame him at all if he stayed... but when the alma mater asks it's difficult to say no, especially when the alma mater is one of the five most storied, tradition-laden, and winning programs in college football history. Vrabel is my choice as the de facto "coach in waiting".

The lord of brevity.
I love Vrabel, but he is a NFL guy through and through. He's in the right place and should stay there.

Wasn't Nuge put on IR due to injury?
You never lose to those pricks. Ever. Ever. Urban Frank Meyer
I hope John Simon has a great run in New England, I root so hard for that guy, one of my all time favorite Buckeyes. BB will utilize him in the right way so this could be a great opp for him.

Never understand why John Simon has to keep moving around to find work. Dude usually has an impact when he’s on the field. Happy for John Simon
Yeah, wasn't Nuge 6-6 on the year?
Happy to see Vrabel doing well. He seems to have been made for this role.
Fields of Dreams
Luke doing well too

Dude watch The Nugent slander!
Centerville's own was 6/6 on field calls with a long and 52 yards and 4/5 on extra points. He was not cut because he was put on IR last week # FACTCHECK
Amen brothers. Wording! This is SCum type reporting. :)
Osu found its slow screen counter punch and won. For all the mgobloggers and psu hecklers who think one bad call by franklin lost the game. You’re wrong. He tried passing on a couple critical 3rd downs and either Chase Young swatted them away or Mcsorley simply couldn’t hit his target. Not a good passer. Had osu found a better spy psu would have had a 300-390 yard game at best.
Meyer can really help the situation by turning up the heat on t Johnson, grinch and Schiano. Davis can sell beer at home games.
That said , I’m very excited about this team and proud of that tough win. Haskins is great. The offensive coaches are greater.
I hope my wife destroys the videos of me screaming at the tv Saturday night. Lol
my wife says that is definitely the last game she is in same roon as me during buckeyes games.cant say as I blame her.
I hope Hue finds the balls to do what Vrabel did. The spot on Hyde being overturned to make it fourth and inches with the game on the line (first down seals the W in regulation) sucked and was bs, but its 4th and inches, you have a monstrous O line - especially up the middle, and a choice of Hyde, Chubb or Baker to gain less than a foot. You are coaching the Browns. WTF do you have to lose?
Counting down the minutes until either Williams or Haley is named interim coach...
Everything that happens-good and bad-should motivate you to be persistent. ~JT
Browns low balled (insulted) hankins with a league min offer and he made them pay. LMAO!!!! $50M under the cap and losing... shocking!!!!!
