I am fine with any of those players. Just a matte of how many they need. Next years class, if it keeps on like it was before everything will have some pretty elite guys in it.
I would happy to see a first time Reynoldsburg player. My home town.
Carpenter was from Reynoldsburg also.
Bobby? He played for Lancaster.
Eichenberg would probably top my list. Not that OSU is asking to see my list.
They don’t look at our lists, but I’m with you if he’s a MLB. I want a big, stout destroyer in the middle. These 5* guys have been underwhelming so far in the middle. Here’s looking at you Browning...etc etc
Seriously, when a 6’0” Spielman At 200 dripping wet can come in and demand put me in, and produce like a beast, I want to see damn MLB proof!

Would love to see another Massillon player in there... my hometown.
+1, More Tigers is always a good thing! I'm also from Massillon & graduated from C.C.H.S.

I graduated CCHS '91... Small world eh?
Been watching HS FB for 50 years now.. I saw Jamir Thomas live last week. His size was impressive - and his play was that of a beast that could not be stopped. He's the real deal.

You had me at “his lone offer is from Miami (OH).” Also, Chambers = LB
Tommy Eichenberg is mucho bueno
El Mundo necesita gente que ame lo que hace
Miami should just google ‘tweener’ and then give them all an offer and sign what ever ones fall thru the cracks.
If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.
Or do what Kentucky does and offer every Ohio recruiting prospect...
And then still suck
I would like to to see either of the young men about whom it was predicted would be trouble for us in the future as Spartans or Hawkeyes. We don't need no stinking good Ohio players excelling for Sparty or Ferentz.
Luke Fulton is a future pro IMO. Get out the spatula
I'm probably in the minority, but I'd just sit tight with Stover and Young and not reach for anyone at this point. If a stud becomes a flip-candidate then that's a different story. We have a lot of talent at LB now, and like the article points out, there is some significant talent available in the next class.
Fields of Dreams
I get the impression they would like to get a MIKE prospect in the class.
Agree. I'm going to believe Chambers is better suited at LB until he graduates college.
Fulton all the way, get him.
Any chances Patterson could recommit later in the year once he can talk to the staff and the dust settles?
Bears...Buckeyes... Battlestar Galactica.
That ship has sailed.

Correct me if I am wrong but it seems we offer in State talent way too late and treat them like red headed step children. We ASSUME they will always commit. I think this attitude needs to change.
Where's the fout star players?
Hector m Rivera
After reviewing this list, I understand why some 3 star Ohioans are not expected to flip, or give their home town a second look. OSU was their dream school, but they know there is a high probability they will be buried in depth chart with the athletes that are expected with UM and this staff. It is no fault of their own. I am positive some if these 3* would blossom in to some of OSU finest, but some of these kids want a more than likely opportunity to play. Some just shy away from competition and believe they have no chance at playing, in those cases it's best they seek elsewhere.
I know James Laurinaitis was not an Ohioan, but he was a 3* propect and is easily a top 5 linebacker for OSU.
Easily top 5? Marek, Cousineau, Gradishar. Spielman, Katzenmoyer, Johnson (Pepper), Shazier, McMillan, Hawk....
Always and forever, Go Bucks!
Little Animal was a 3 star recruit. He did ok.
