2018 Season Preview: Ohio State's Massive Offensive Line Led By Experienced Talent

Everything we're hearing right now seems positive. I think the shifts in position for some guys has more to do with the fact that there is SO MUCH talent with that group, and not the coaching staff trying to shuffle because they're worried one guy isn't up to par.

I like the lineup of Munford/Pridgeon/Jordan/Knox/Prince I think that's a helluva good offensive line. I'd like to see Brady Taylor step up and take that position over, but if those five are the most talented group, that's who you go with.

Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.

The real question for me right now is who will start at center? Fantastic talent, no doubt, but we do need a leader on that line. Hoping Jordan can step in to that role even if he stays at guard...

Feel like everyone is way more optimistic about this group than me...my biggest concern heading into the year.  Haven't seen anything from Munford that inspires confidence and who would his back-up be?  No tackle depth whatsoever and still unsettled at Center, but hey we have plenty of "pretty good" guards.  Need this group to be A+ to lift the trophy.

I'll predict L to R:  Munford, Pridgeon, Jordan, Bowen, Prince.  That's one massive slab of beef!

I understand the why (and concur), but I miss having interviews with coaches during fall camp to get perspective on what's happening. Otherwise, it feels as if we're just hearing the stale end-of-spring-ball status again (with the wrinkle, in this case, of Jordan having been seen taking snaps at center). Hoping to get a fresh perspective. I've sure the reporters are equally frustrated.

IMO Bowen takes over for Munford after the TCU game. I think Munford needs another year of experience under his belt to become truly elite.

Ohio State is an offensive line driven team. This unit can make the offense exceptionally elite. The depth and flexibility this unit affords is incredible. Dominate, Slobs!

There's definitely talent.  Becoming a cohesive unit which allows rotation would make a huge impact on the success of this team.  So far, so good.  But we will not know for sure until a few games are won!

Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!

I count 7 seniors, plus 4 juniors, out of 18 names on the list. That's kinda top heavy, so we better keep on recruiting.

I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.

"Does anybody but Meyer know the five names who will start on Sept. 1 against Oregon State"

Um, am I missing something? Why would Urban know anything?
