This is a welcome read...we're talking football now.
Well thought out...but Andrew Ellis gets the title here - that's a hot take I wouldn't mind see come to fruition.
I loved Andrew's new take the best too. Interesting new avatar there Hove. Is that a metaphor for something?

The look of the scene feels the like the vibe of this offseason ending.
Frank Frazetta is the artist. Great work.
Frank Frazetta was awesome. No one would ever confuse his Eowyn for a dude, however.
"I miss Brady Hoke."
Dwayne Haskins for Heisman.
The Heisman is so much a popularity contest. As time goes on the create more reason to Eliminate candidates. It's almost a QB thing now and you can only lose very little even if you are the best. Go Haskins and Burrow.
Uh, excuse me, and just where is the *ichigan September Heisman pick?
Send the Earth Reverberating
Burrow is a great under the radar pick for the Tigers. I'd love to see him pick apart that Alabama secondary.

Gonna keep a close eye on Bryce Love. Wonder if he have the same type of success.
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
All of these are legit predictions. Iwould love to see a workhorse RB win the award, but it seems to always be a QB. That said, I say it will be Tua. Alabama only has one game I feel they can lose in the regular season- at LSU. We shall see how things play out.
auburn is the only team on there schedule that will keep it close. Also that burrow pick is not legit.
How is Burrow not legit?
The Iron Bowl is in Tuscaloosa. Auburn typically competes better when it on on The Plains. LSU is in Death Valley, likely at night. That is what fuels my prediction.
So you are saying bama plays a weak schedule
Hard to pick against Tua after what he did in the NCG. I agree with Ramzy that Dobbins being on a team with so many weapons could hurt his chances.
I'm relieved to see no one tab a Buckeye to win it. I think that the picks all seem logical, except Burrow (sorry Andrew).
I'd like to throw Jake Fromm in the mix here. He plays in the SEC, so voters will slobber over him, but he plays in the SEC East, which means he'll put up great numbers again against crappy teams. So, to follow up what could have easily been a national championship season in 2017 with a stellar 2018 is not unthinkable.
So, if Dwayne Haskins can't win it (in the mold of recent winners playing in their first season as a starter), then I'll roll with the Bulldog.

I just find it hard to believe Burrow as a likely Heisman candidate. With all do respect he didn't win the job in Columbus, and the schedule at LSU is not one that has me thinking he will come out smelling like roses this year. They open the season in Dallas against The U and their defense is going to be nasty this year. You already know who they have to play in the west (a lot of so called experts think Miss St will be a tough win), and they get Georgia this year on the other side. Not to mention LSU's starting running back was like 5th on the depth chart last year, and their Oline is suspect. It would not surprise me if coach O was looking for another job after going 5-7 this season. I wish Burrow all the best of luck though, unless he's playing my Buckeyes lol.

It is time!!!!!
LOL. Worst article by this site ever!
If Sequon didn’t win it, NO WAY does McShorty because, he again will have too many losses.
Will Greir, really? WVU will score 1000 pts, but it’s defense will give up 2000 pts.
Joe Burrow? But not the guy that Best him out for the starting job at tOSU?
Bryce Love....how many losses will stanford have by the time Heisman votes are counted?
Do you guys know what it takes to win a Heisman? Sersiphsly answer it pllease!
I do! More points than the next guy. So do I win the heisman?
Imagine getting so worked up about someone else’s heisman picks. If you don’t like what you read, go back to Rivals.
The Heisman is more than just the media darling of the month.
Will Greir will make a good NFL prospect. But when WVU loses 5-6 games by Nov, is he really going to be a Heisman contender?
Joe Burrow may not even start at WVU.
Bryce Love has the has the challenge of being in the weakest power 5 conf of the country on a team that wont even win its division.
Joe Burrow may not even start at WVU.
Bet you can't say "Bert Bielma is a bumbling buffoon" five times fast.
Burrow at WVU?
Your IQ of CFB continues to shine.
Exactly Route. Spot on!
Win all games. Get many weekly highlights. Put up great stats. Ranked in the top 5 all season. We have a 6' 3" QB who will be getting better every week and may very well be on the short list in late November. Best of luck Buckeye. Win 2 great awards this season.
Casting a pick for burrow is pretty bold. Most of those choices make sense except McSorley. No way does he get it
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
No props to Ramzy ever........none

I’m gonna’ be salty if Burrow wins the Heisman in Baton Rouge.
Y'know what? I like the Burrow prediction!
OSU 2019 defense - The Twelfth Man
As talented as Tua is. He will struggle with a sophomore slump and yes he will be replaced with a Hurts who doesn't throw much but runs well and wins.
Yeah, just wait til coaches have full tapes and entire weeks to gameplan to stop him and he won't look as impressive. He may still possibly be good but to say he is gonna win the Heisman doesn't make much sense at all.
I was also among those last season who thought Stidham might win the Heisman, because I thought he would be lethal in that offense. Funny thing is that he had about 2/3 of a Heisman winner's resume, but his bad games were really horrific. Still, it's been proven you can win Heismans in that offense, so I wouldn't totally discount his chances this season.
McSorley is actually a good dark horse pick. His size gives him underdog appeal. A big win early on — and we know who the most likely opponent there is — will make him a serious candidate.
I just don't see it for Tagovailoa, because that's not a system that enables QBs to put up the sort of video game numbers voters want to see. He would have been a stronger candidate 20 years ago. Winston is the only recent QB Heisman winner who wasn't dual threat or didn't routinely throw for 400 yards a game. Of course, Winston did that on the consensus #1 team, which Alabama will be until they lose.
I don't have anything against Joe Burrow, but if he even has a good season, let alone is a Heisman contender, this place is going to become literally unbearable.
I would rank the candidates 1) Tate, 2) Fromm, 3) McSorley.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Tate? So you think Tate Martell beats out Haskins for our starting QB and goes on to win the Heisman. That’s a bold, bold prediction BC.
