Glad all the current commits are taking a "wait and see" approach and not making a quick judgment or decision. Hopefully this whole thing is over soon, everyone sticks with their commitment, and we move on with business as usual.
the H&I walk started 'in the beginning'...and continues daily....
Being imperfect is a condition, not an excuse.
Imperfection only Guides correction to the Standard, from all the usual imperfections.
Isn't speculation the only thing that flames recruiting? I get what you're saying, though. Right now my speculative mind has plenty of other things to focus on. I'm just hoping that Zach ultimately becomes a Buckeye.
Andrew, are you now saying he won't decide until after his senior season?
"We gotta go win this next game and make the State of Ohio proud!"-UFM
That’s my understanding. Allows him to visit Penn State for the Ohio State game, Michigan for the Penn State game and Ohio State for the Michigan game.
And I get what you’re saying, but I think there’s certainly a difference in speculating based on facts, and there’s wildly making assumptions of what a kid like Zach is going to do — especially when he is legitimately torn and not leaning one way or another.
Thanks, AL. And I never make assumptions about teenagers :)
Considering he’d originally planned to announce this month, has he taken an OV to any of his three finalists?
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
Officially visited Penn State in April, then Michigan and Ohio State in June.
I've read that Harrison will take 3 more visits, decide in December and enroll early to be involved in spring practice before his freshman season. At The Ohio State University.......the last part is my own crazy wish.
Not yours alone.
The two most important days in ones life is when you're born and when you find out why you were born. We were born to be champions. - TyLue
Stop speculating? Next you'll want us to draw our conclusions from facts! Sheesh
You Got Barbecue Back There!?!?!?!
Love this response!
I respect what the recruiting guys here at 11W do. They are trying to balance what they know and what they can share. However, when recruits are silent verbals and stuff gets withheld for any number of reasons, oftentimes all we have is speculation. That's part of the fun.

“I talked to my mom yesterday and said, ‘I don’t know why stuff like this happens.’ She was like, ‘Welcome to life,“Some things go wrong and not everything is going to go right.”
Sounds like a kid with his head screwed on straight… Just like his mom. If only Courtney and Zach could be could’ve been this stable…

They probably were at his age, Then life happened.
Maybe, but if I had to guess...most crazy people are the product of crazy parents or a dysfunctional upbringing.
Well, so far, neither of their moms have shown any evidence they’re whacked and the fathers have wisely stayed out of it. As polar opposites Jimmy and Billy Carter proved, every now and again, a bullet is gonna misfire.
Agreed - I don’t know enough about their parents to say this applies - was just saying in general that often is true.
You are soooooo far from the truth!!!!
I respectfully disagree...of course there are outliers and anomalies, but there is a reason people use the phrase “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree...”
You use the term "respect" and you don't know ANY of the parents. You are soooooo far from the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY off
We all need to be as perfect as you are as a parent.
MA is using respectfully to you. He's saying he disagrees with your view, but does respect it. I don't think every crazy person had crazy parents. That said, to get my military ts security clearance the FBI investigated the history and background of me and my family. One of the things they look at is your family's history of mental illness. So what he's saying has merit.
You’re going overboard man - no need to use a million exclamation points or sarcastically say I’m a perfect parent. I’ll be the first to admit I am not. My opinion is just that, but no need to go off the deep end.
You are attacking Lynn Bruce. She’s not just “another parent”. It was uncalled for to put her into a general category. Totally
From the sound of it, I’d think you were related...good Lord. If you read my post, I said, “Agreed - I don’t know enough about their parents to say this applies - was just saying in general that often is true.”
So there you go...chill man.
I hope these guys realize Hartline may well be a better option for them than Zach was.
Sorry Zach. Mostly.
m GO BLOW!!!
I'm with you on this one. I'm excited to have Hartline as WR coach.
"Until then, let's stop speculating, shall we?"

Huh? Pretty much every thread on here has speculation in it.
At least OSU gets the last game visit for Harrison which I believe will end up being the deciding factor when OSU wins by 30
Sure glad that Harrison is not deciding on his birthday, Aug. 14, since the investigation is not concluded yet.

Pathetic that The Hurry Up is getting 20-30 posts
Chiming in because I couldn't agree more. My schedule has been packed lately but I remember when there were Hurry Ups packed with great classic comments.
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
The key thing IMO is that we blow every opponent out of the water, every darn game, no matter who the HC is.
Let’s send a message to the nation that we are far from gone. Play angry no matter what.
"We get paid to score touchdowns, not kick field goals"
-- Urban Meyer
Great idea. I certainly don’t think any coach goes into a game saying, “I want to keep this close” or “maybe we should lose this one today”
Your advice reminds me of when a pitcher is struggling and walking hitters and fans yell, “just throw strikes”
Perhaps, he's saying play to win as opposed to play not to lose.
Great idea. I certainly don’t think any coach goes into a game saying, “I want to keep this close”
Disagree. See: Tressel, Jim. It used to infuriate me when he would let inferior teams "off the hook" by "only" beating them by 10-14 points when we could have dumped more on them. Let your athletes play. It's the other team's fault if they can't stop you. Once Urban entered the conference we've seen a massive shakeup in B1G coaching staffs as other programs realize that mediocrity will be exposed.
But what I'm speaking about is the overall attitude of the team. In 2012 we had a team that played with a chip on their shoulder after going 6-7. In 2014 we fought back after an embarrassing loss, the death of a player and all of the media laughing at us for having a 3rd string QB.
In 2018 we need to be similarly pissed off. If it's Urban at the helm, "How do you like me now, b*tches?". If it's Ryan Day, "Just so you remember, we're still the Buckeyes".
Umm. Tressel wasn’t trying to keep it close.
he knew the other team wasn’t coming back because they couldn’t if his team kept the ball.
he coached that way because he could, and because he knew what he was doing.
How sad is it when high school kids are showing more maturity than the media?
