I don’t know if I’ll ever see another player dominate the game like Pace did. Kind of feel sorry for the younger generation on here that never got to see him live. He was massive and super athletic and just dominated even the very best opposition.

Great news for Simon Fraser going back to school and being inspired to be a Dr. I always enjoyed watching him play, always had a non stop motor.

I'm glad to hear that they got one doctor from that team.  We all thought it was going to be Krenzel.  Well done, Doc!

My aim, then, is to whip the Weasels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.   - William Tecumseh Sherman (with apologies)

Give me some pancakes. May be the only time I can remember an offensive tackle creating so much Heisman buzz.

That list of accomplishments for Orlando is amazing. Thanks Matt.

Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!

It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.

Definitely one of stronger numbers in OSU history.

Judge Cheney is still revered by members of my family from the Lima area, Fraser and Boone were key players for their respective teams, and I think Thayer Munford could be a breakout player this fall.

Got M...igan gossip? Bang it here.

I’m with you Hove. Munford is getting a lot of buzz and I think he may struggle just a bit early (Decker/hopefully we don’t face a guy like Mack early on) but end up being a hell of a player for the SLOBS.

No Khalil Mack, but keep an eye out for TCU DE's L.J. Collier and Ben Banogu - they're going to test TM on 9/15.

Got M...igan gossip? Bang it here.

There is real quality, high level competition for this choice!  But Mr Pace is the farmand away correct choice!!!

He was head and shoulders above everyone at all levels.  And he was fun to watch too.

If we could only clone him in multiple sizes.

Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!

My best Pace story wasn’t even on the football field. I used to work at Eastland Mall in Columbus and a girl I worked with told me she wanted to introduce me to her boyfriend. I walked out of the stockroom and standing I front of me was Orlando Pace and Shawn Springs. I was in awe of both. She introduced me to Orlando as her boyfriend, he was very nice and told me to look out for his girl while she was at work. The funny part was that she talked about him before but never by name and told me once that her boyfriend played football but never elaborated past that. After the meeting I had all sorts of questions and she was like “I hear he is really good but I wouldn’t know because I don’t watch the games”.

Pace was a no brainer. I remember Jaco and Graves. IIRC, both were OL starters
