Pope is the perfect candidate for a player that redshirts this year, absorbs everything like a sponge, puts on about 15-25 pounds and then comes back and shows us what he has at the spring game next year, then competes in fall camp to get on the field.
Guys like that usually don't ride the pine for multiple years, at the very LEAST he's going to make a splash on ST next year.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
I have followed his HS career here in central VA. He was injured a bit his senior season but fully recovered. He will become a valuable member of the football team over the course of his career once he gets there and involved with the program.
He is gonna smash shit once he gets on the field in 2019 at the LB spot. With 1 year redshirt and added weight, yup mark it down. Going to be a fun battle with him and T. Mitchell for middle LB.
Real Life Wednesdays was ultimately the difference in Pope choosing Ohio State over other offers from the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Florida, and Florida State.
Says it all.
Blessings to Mister Pope on his career on AND off the field.

He will be a valuable contributor on our team. Hoping his investment in learning and development is matched by a coaching staff who is maximizing available talent. Great times are ahead.
