Truly amazing... this is the golden age, ladies and gentlemen.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
No question this has become the golden age in recruiting for the good guys.
Always good to be a Buckeye but this is truly a GREAT time to be a Buckeye.
Buckeye til I die
1999-Antoine Winfield, 2000-Ahmed Plummer, and 2001-Nate Clements. If i remember correctly.
Sounds about right but Shawn Springs was in there I think the year before Winfield. May have been 2 years before.
You’re correct. And Springs was 1997. How about that? 3 years in a row with 1st round picks. And 4 out of 5 years.
OSU will have 5 in 4 years next year when Sheffield finally shows everyone what he’s made of. Then 6 in 5 once Okudah goes.... Wade and Williamson soon after that... Embarrassment of riches.
This is great for recruiting, but we aren't really competing with Michigan. We are competing with Alabama and Clemson and Georgia. Bama had 4 first round selections and GA had 3.
OSU has a realistic chance at extending this streak next year with Sheffield.
And if that happens, it’ll grow to at least five (Okudah).
Good chance at 6/7 with Wade and/or Williamson. Tyreke Johnson too... #DBU
Damon Arnette has a shot at it too

4 months left? Anyone got a countdown?
This doesn't even take into account the players that went to the NFL from Meyer's Bowling Green and Utah teams. I wonder what his total # of players is?
“Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” - Mark Twain
I think it does as Alex Smith is listed (5th row, left).
I wonder how the players' pre-draft evaluations match up with their actual selection?
Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.
"offensive tackle Jamarco Jones, defensive end Jalyn Holmes, linebacker Chris Worley, safety Damon Webb and quarterback J.T. Barrett "
Fitting that Barrett was mentioned last... The worst NFL-caliber QB of all Urban Meyer teams.
He won't be drafted.
Doesn't take a genius to see that.
Best quarterback in school history, though...
**Most record-setting QB in school history.
He is system-QB and the team's greatest moments of the Urban Meyer era came with him on the bench.
It seems to me that it is time to move on and stop rubbing his nose in it for heavens sake.
Let it go.
Your moniker is ill fitting sir. You are no gentleman. A more fitting name would be LondonChurl.
I can't believe the dudes I saw drafted and jones still hasn't been chosen....
63 in they included Hernandez, obviously smart move by leaving him off.
I think the secret weapons here are Mark Pantoni and the graphics, video and marketing staff. They're on the ball with identifying key things which resonate with recruits, and they have a great sense of design and presentation.
