And when Jamarco is happy, we're all happy!
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
Was hoping the Vikings would draft him but they went with Daniel Carson. Best of luck Jamarco!
OSU didn't execute and lost to horrible officiating. BOTH things can be true
He had always been rated as a mid round pick up until like three months ago. I don’t know enough about rating OL but there was obviously something scouts didn’t like (wingspan or lateral quickness or whatever).
But still, given how small a percentage of guys get drafted at all, fifth round is still really good.
Jamarco’s wingspan is actually awesome (80+ inches I think), but his Combine was pretty bad and he’s short for a LT at 6’4. Jamarco also put up really good stats at Ohio State, only giving up a couple sacks and consistently opening up holes in the run game. I think he is just a player that slipped through the cracks in the draft process like Andrew Norwell. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up a long term starter for Seattle, with an opportunity to earn a king’s ransom in his second contract. Go Buckeyes!!!!!!!
Ohio State: The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.
I’m shocked that he lasted into the 5th round
Late round steal.
How in the world did he last until the 5th? Congrats anyways Jamarco, now it's Worley and Webb's turn

Great fifth round value for the Seahawks! I don't remember him ever missing a block at left tackle. He was as solid as they come for the Buckeyes and he played a ton of football. Most likely another former Buckeye Olineman turned starter in the NFL.
Cincinnati still hasn't drafted a tackle on offense..could of had this dude..
So happy for JJ
I'll now be able to get some insider information on him.
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
Seattle Sounders 2019 MLS Champions
Seahawks with a steal.
WOW 5th round for a first round talent! Almost another Norwell situation he should have went earlier but still happy for JJ.
It's nice to be drafted, and drafted higher rather than lower (due to the initial salary implications), but as Norwell has shown, it's what you do AFTER the draft that makes the difference long-term.
Seahawks are smart to protect Wilson, especially with a big bruiser like Happy Jamarco!
I’m shocked he went this late in the draft. That should give him plenty of motivation to kick ass In Seattle.
Wish my team had gotten Jamarco Jones in the 5th round. I'll bet check back in four years and everyone will be saying "how did this guy last until the 5th round?"
I'm really going to miss you, Jamarco. All the best in the NFL, and rip 'em up.
"The minute we stop expecting greatness, we become Wisconsin."
I will miss happy Jamarco playing for the Bucks. But I am super happy for him.
The lord of brevity.
I think the Seahawks two 5th round picks this year were magic and both have the chance to be the steals of the draft.
He for sure went to a place where they needed him. Lasted far longer than I expected but hey, congrats jamarco!
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
I wanted the Giants to pick him with every pick starting from the 3rd round on. No clue how he dropped this far. I think he’s really going to do well. Don’t understand how bad measurables erases two great years of film.
I'm not sure if he's big enough to play tackle in the NFL but he certainly held it down for us. Worst case is he transitions into a guard. He's smart and works hard so you gotta feel good about this selection if you're the Seahawks.
Jones was an elite pass blocker, a great run blocker, and he has really long arms (which is the main reason teams prefer taller tackles). PFF graded him as a top 40 player in the draft and as a top 5 tackle based on his tape. I think Jamarco can be a stud starting LT as long as he puts in the work. I’m surprised the Patriots didn’t take him. They routinely draft and start undersized, undervalued tackles with great technique.
Best of luck, Jamarco... one of the really good guys!
Times like this are when I feel like id be better than the drafters for my Cleveland Browns. I seen Jamarco on the board in the 5th. He def would have helped my browns. This kid is going to be a quality tackle for many years in the NFL. We could have used him, our loss. Congratulations Jamarco!
Great for Jones. I hate making a post that even references oneself or using "I", but this once. I live in Orlando. Have UCF connections to the school and I got emotional when the Seahawks drafted Shaquem Griffin to team with his brother. Now Jones! I have a team in the west coast time zone I want to watch.
