I like the hurry up. I don't usually comment here. I prefer snarky comments for DJB about 4:25 AM on the way to work in the morning.
more than two dozen wide receivers with an offer from Ohio State
Wow, the staff are getting in the conversation early for a lot of prospects.
I wonder how many of them are truly "commitable offers" (versus the previously-mentioned need to get in early on lesser priority targets due to the faster timetable permitted by the new visit and commit schedule).
Man, I hope like hell they impress Gunnell. He was born for a Kevin Wilson offense.
I like Gunnell as well.
You Got Barbecue Back There!?!?!?!
why isn't Lance Wilhoite mentioned anymore?
A good plan today is better than a great plan tomorrow. Gen. George S. Patton
Prospects like . . . and Lance Wilhoite; . . . remain much higher priorities.
Bobbing for french fries.
The school is nice. I like how it's an actual campus.
What are the other options?
I'm guessing possibly online or in Ttun's case.. A cesspool?
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
Could be it a dig against Pitt since they don’t have an on campus stadium?
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
Maybe, although Pitt does have a great campus. I was thinking that online schools generally don't have D-1 football programs so it's got to mean something.
And yet the University of Phoenix has a stadium. Go figure...
Good info on the QBs. Confused by statement though, that Duggan is more focused on schools in the mid-west as if OSU wasn't, as Ohio is considered a Mid-Western state. Or did I mis-read the sentence?
Keep up the good work Andrew.
He was comparing Gunnell and Dugan I believe. Think he was just saying Gunnell is looking more nationally for schools.
That’s correct. Just comparing Gunnell’s top schools (Arkansas, LSU and Oklahoma State) to Duggan’s (Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Notre Dame) and saying how Ohio State would seem to be in a better spot for the latter as a result.
Devinshire sp. surprise no offer to Pitt on his list. Those Quip kids like to stay close to home for some reason.
True, but still like seeing OSU keeping active in the WPIAL. (Pryor, Jordan Hall, Malik and Marcus Hooker, et al).
I had to run away high, so I wouldn't come home low...
[Keegan] was named first-team all-state for the Gators last season.
Chicago Whitney Young HS is the Dolphins. That’s like teams in Florida being called the Huskies and Polar Bears.
