Are 100% recovery odds high for this type of injury?
Priority #1: Beat Michigan
Seems like it's high, here's what I read
Mahalo, Kalmar, good med review stuff.
All the best to Billy Price.

Heal up Billy - Buckeye Nation is behind you !!
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
That has to be one of the worst-timed injuries I've ever seen for anyone. Not only will it likely cost Billy millions but it will set his NFL development back a full year possibly. '
I sure hope someone didnt give him shitty advice at the combine and this was just a freak injury. I mean how many times has Billy bench pressed over the course of his playing career? Seemed odd that it happened at the combine.
"Sherman ran an option play right through the south" - Woody trolling the SEC.
Yeah I'm guessing he's bench pressed probably 10,000+ times in his football career so far and for this to happen is just outrageous, I really feel for the YTown product. I hope the teams still realize what he can and probably will be and snag him no later than Rd3 now.

So an injury that doesn't seem to have much of an impact at all on his career outlook is going to drop him from a 1st round grade to a 3rd rounder? Jaylon Smith had his knee basically destroyed to where it was a question if he could ever play again and he went in the 2nd round.
I want a fall Saturday in Ohio Stadium..
I’m not a draft expert dude just giving an opinion - to say the teams “won’t even think twice now” would just be ignorant. But you seem to have an in with all the NFL teams so I’m glad this injury wont affect his draft position.
Yeah didn't you know I'm the 11W version of Schefter?
Doesn't take an NFL insider to figure out if you have a 1st round grade on a guy, they have an injury that isn't career threatening that will also allow them to fully participate in camp - that you still take them in the 1st round.
Snap your ankle, blow out your knee, tear your bicep - sure that might give some teams pause. Incomplete pec tear that's already been repaired plus 4 years of kicking ass on tape should be enough to solidify his spot.
I hope you're right. There's just a huge difference between selecting someone in the 1st round versus, say, anything after the 3rd round. They look at every single little detail because your job is on the line if you whiff on a first rounder. I just think any injury will give some teams pause regardless of how serious.. You just never know how someone will recover.
Fair point, +1. All assumptions are recovery goes without a hitch, but always a chance of complications.
I made it back Lou to eat that crow
It's a fairly rare injury and teams don't seem too put off by it. Probably cost him a round though and that sucks.
This probably slides him down a little bit, but hopefully not too much. Would be great if he was ready for camp.
Not worried about him at all. Might drop him a few spots but this guy is a stud, get well soon!
I don't think this hurts his stock at all. Not a knee or anything that is going to hinder his career at all. If a team drops him from a 1st round grade because of an incomplete pec tear, they are complete fools. Which means, the Browns probably took him off their board.
He wasn't on the Browns board anyway.
Nothing cleanses the soul like a no call pass interference.
Some NFL team is going to get a great deal on a long term, highly talented player.
it's pretty funny that people are reporting on my son at 10 to 4 when my son didn't come out of surgery until 5:45 makes you think... he texted me said surgery went great thank you Buckeye Nation for being behind him...
Thank you, Dumpsterdog.

He obviously has a great work ethic so I’m sure he’ll crush PT and all will be well. Best of luck to him.
Agents do mysterious work.
This post certainly puts a new spin on all your previous posts!
New Day for OSU. Same noon for TTUN.
Maybe the Lions can get him. They need a lot of help.
Suuuucks - glad he’s a senior with a body of work that will help carry him through this.
all my 'outrage'... matters not.
my perseverance... is my lot.
all my stats.. are in stone.
do I yet endeavor
is of my own
He'll be fine. It's not like an ACL tear or Braxton ruining his throwing shoulder. It sucks though that he has to sit out and rehab during the draft process.

he was going early 2nd round, now he'll go mid/late 2nd round. i dont think it hurts him too much.
