"There's still some green showing before you see the chalk."
Odd not seeing Coombs out there screaming at people. "You're a kicker!!!!"
"Sherman ran an option play right through the south" - Woody trolling the SEC.
Love the long look at D-line drills.
"Because we couldn't go for three."
McCall fielding punts? Yes, please.
Not real sure what they're doing and I can't make out what they're saying...but it sure looks good!
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
Joe Burrow looks about a whole head taller than Tate Martell at the end of the video
Watching that tape has got me stoked! A lot of good DL stuff there.
1) It doesn't look like Jashon Cornell is slimming down any. If he's moving out to end, he's going to be a big boy out there. I still would like to see at least one more experienced guy in that DE rotation. Great if it's Jashon, but one guy it probably won't be is Dante Booker, though, because he wasn't in any of the DL drills. I'm sure they'd want him to get as many reps there as possible if they were going to transition him, so that would seem to rule him out, at least for now.
2) Speaking of big boys, Jerron Cage looks to be at 300+ out there, and a lot of that is hanging over his belt. Hopefully he's still in the process of rounding into shape.
3) Haskell Garrett looks bigger, too, but in a much more positive way-- he's a beast. In the drills around the 5:00 mark, he was doing reps at the 1-tech alongside presumed starters Chase Young, Dre'Mont Jones, and Nick Bosa-- maybe that's your early leader for the starting front four?
Fun fun fun!
"Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect." -- Woody Hayes
Love watching Johnson coach up the D-Line. Let’s go Young Bucks!.
Wonder what all the early enrollees thought about day 1
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
One of my employers in times past played for coach Hayes during the mid 70s. He told me about "AYO" which was "all you others".
Now, I have never met Joe Burrow, but his body language just seems very...down? Now, he may be like that all the time, but I saw more video of him on another site and his body language almost seems like he is just going through the motions....like he knows he isn't going to be here much longer. Now, I could be totally wrong, but that's just what I kinda took from it.
