What a great story of perseverance! To be honest, I thought he was done too, and I couldn't be happier that I was wrong. Give 'em hell this year, Johnnie.

EXACTLY, Brutus0717.  Why take a "great story of perseverance" - a real story - and convert it into a narrative about 'breakaway' speed?

This Dixon TD vs IN reminded me of the Terry Glenn "Bolt...of Lightning" vs ND in '95.  THAT...was "breakaway speed".

Why, nobody asks?  Be cause Terry beat 2 world class sprinters to the EZ from a standing start, in the 10, 20, 40. 60. and 80 yard dashes.....

We do not need to diminish or camouflage Johnnie's great run vs IN by hyping what it was not.  What it was, was not only great, but great exactly because of the years of perseverance unrewarded before it!  But it was no breakaway; if it were, would it 'count' vs average speed defenders?

Now... who's not excited to see what Johnnie can REALLY do with some serious 100% health and conditioning and developing under his belt!  And our Zone6 has the pleasure to going against some pretty 'decent' speed fellow receivers and defenders!

One of my favorite Buckeyes, remember watching him at Dwyer and so happy he stuck with it and had a big 2017. Hoping he stays the course and the Bucktrainers keep those knees feeling good

When I was 6 I was thinking about this rivalry. This one is seared on your soul, It's ingrained through every part of your body. -Urban Meyer

Looking forward to Johnnie having another great season in 2018. Happy when a guy can persevere after going through so much and have a breakout year.

Just posting and hoping my comment isn’t deleted.

I think Johnnies in for another breakout year with a new QB. Probably will have more opportunities for the long ball than with the previous QB. Happy for him and his hard work.

Given the catches to yards ratio, I think we've found our deep threat.  THROW THE BOMB!

Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.

"found" suggests the search is over, the competition over.

UFM's A-B, 4-6, suggests the search for excellence, the demonstration of same vs excellent competition... continues.

Keep grinding, Johnnie, and take another step forward this spring, summer and in the 2018 season.  Great story!

Favorite player last season. Dixon plays with heart

Dixon and J.T. recovery from surgery make them poster children for OSU Sports Medicine. Another recruiting selling point.

Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.

Even though I grumbled about the number of WR's that returned I am happy that Johnnie did and hopeful that this second season of strong play sends him to NFL!

Here’s to a quality spring for Dixon and many others that want to take the Buckeyes that final step to a national championship. May it come together early for  the 2018 Buckeyes and build steadily through the season to a CFP Playoff spot.
