Only drawback of being a No. 5 seed is too many 12 seeds seem to upset them. We get off to our normal slow start that could mean a quit exit. Hoping that isnt the case this time around.

I think the important thing to remember is that the committee uses a lot of, ahem... 'creativity' when it comes to seeding and bracket placement. With the Bucks unique situation, they will slot us pretty much wherever they want to. You'd have to think we'd be anywhere from a 4-7 seed, but who the hell knows.

My gut says around a 7th seed. But what do I know, could be the big greasy hamburger and fries I ate about 2 hours ago :P
You WIN with people.
I bet your gut has ALOT to say after that meal!
I almost hope we drop to a 6 seed just so Chris Holtmann can play off the disrespect. We seem to play well when we have something to prove and not very well when we are expected to perform.
How Firm Thy Friendship
I just hope we don't drop to a 7. I want us to have a legitimate chance to make it to the Sweet 16. I'll gladly take a five or a six seed.
At one point Arizona State was playing some good ball, but I wouldn't mind the chance to see KBD swat some of Mickey's famous missed layups.
New Mexico State with a former OSU player seems like a recipe for an upset. At least we aren't playing against Jordan Sibert again (cries in the corner)
He ain't even stretch doe!!
Sounds about right to me...
15-2 is SWEET!
I think they are a 5 seed.
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
Just a few months ago making the NIT looked to be unlikely and now being a 5, 6, 7 seed in the NCAA is an incredible accomplishment. I've always wondered why OSU wasn't able to be a consistent top 15-20 team in BB. I realize that we are a football school but with the resources that this university has there really isn't a reason for us to not compete for Big 10 titles on a regular basis in BB and be more of a factor on the national stage. In the late 50's and early 60's OSU was one of the best BB programs in the country.
build it, and they will come (again)...
I just cannot see a 4 seed when you lose 3 times to a likely non-NCAA team regardless of who else you beat. Of course Kansas has lost twice to Okie State, once bad, and doubtful they make it but betting Kansas still ends up no lower than a 2 seed.
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
Lunardi is awfully good at this, so a #5 is more likely than not (pending other games this coming week that might change the overall picture).
My concern with a 5/12 game, like I said the other day, is that the 12s tend to be really good midmajors who get underseeded because their schedules don't give them a chance to show how good they really are. It might almost be better to be at #6, because the #11 seeds are often the absolute weakest of the major conference teams (like Arizona State).
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
4, 5, 6, so long as we don't see Tony Carr, anything else is fine.
Great, the dreaded 5 vs. 12 where 12's win a lot!
