To say Dobbs doesn’t have size to play Tackle at 6’4 could be inaccurate, Good ol Jamarco measured in at 6’4 on the nose at the combine.

Truth, but Happy J does have a monster wing span to counter the height. It’s been said wingspan is just as if not more important than height.

True, but Jamarco was always listed at 6’5 or 6’6. In other words, if Dobbs is said to be 6’4 now, he’s likely a bit shorter. Besides, there are always exceptions, he was just saying Dobbs doesn’t have the ideal height, which doesn’t mean he can’t materialize at tackle.

For what it’s worth, Zeke’s old man played college ball at Kentucky.

I still can't get my mind around high school kids being that huge. But the predicted six all sign, that would be an incredible haul.

Really hard to predict right now, but my feeling is that Wright, Miller, Correll and Tarquin indeed are most likely to join Nester and Jacoby. Still, I really hope we do not give up on Dobbs. That would be a(nother) monster addition to our OL.

I believe Michael Jordan is from Belleville, Mi. I wonder if they went to the same high school and if so, could Michael help recruit D. Dobbs?

I might be way off, but isn't Michael Jordan from Canton, MI? Still, if Jordan knows Dobbs, you would have to think that could work definitively in our favor. I really hope we still have a shot at Dobbs. Imagine him alongside NPF, Myers and Davis, just to name a few.

The most likely scenario for the O-Line seems to be these five shaping up as D. Wright (OT), H. Miller (G/C), Z. Correll (C) along with commits D. Nester (G/T) and R. Jacoby (OT).  Nester could be ticketed to a Guard position.

Scheduled to exhaust eligibility are these five: I. Prince, J. Alabi, B. Taylor, D. Knox & M. Pridgeon.  It might be difficult to have a 6th O-Lineman if only 5 O-Line schollies open up so it could just be a class of five but time will tell what the coaching staff decides.

I like the final prediction, but would like to substitute Truss for one of the smaller guys like Tarquin or Miller.  OSU needs true OTs with large frames, and hopefully the staff can close the deal with Wright and catch up a little with the relationships surrounding Truss’ recruitment. Correll looks like a perfect fit inside, with an eye on the C position.

clearly the upside intrigue will be among the rare mentionings and many silences of the stat aficianados, be cause Jacoby is #37 but statically "looks like a" position.  What a great Ohio and coaching acumen story were Jacoby to 'blow up' in his senior season!

And the 'righteous win' would be 'stealing' rescuing Dobbs away from the evil ones cults up north....

Looks like there's plenty of 2019 recruit interest at our 'position of need' - OL.   ;-{)}

What about Justin Rogers out of Oak Park, Michigan who has visited plenty of times and all 11 crystal ball picks are to the good guys? #1 rated OG per 247:

Yeah, like you said -- that kid is 2020. He seems to pretty much live in Columbus though, so hopefully that's a good sign of things to come.

I've watched both Nester and Jacoby's films and I have to say I think they both project as interior linemen in college. OSU definitely needs a guy like Darnell Wright or Xavier Truss. I still think when it's all said and done, both Dobbs and Barnett will be Buckeyes.

My class predictions. Wright, Dobbs, Nester, Jacoby, Miller, Correll. And if they could find room for a 7th lineman, the right one, they'd take it.

nester has already said he is playing guard in college and I've seen some insiders say Jacoby is most likely a guard

This would be one heck of a haul, I’m really hoping for Dobbs to end up in here too. I think with attrition, early entry, or possible injury we take 6 for sure in this cycle. And like others have mentioned 7 for the right player if staff sees fit.

Im excited for our line play this next year, I believe we’ve started building some decent depth on that side of the ball after a year or two of thin talent.

I am a Michigan booster bud....just spent $182 bucks at Wal-Mart this morning.

Yeah perhaps I shouldn't even have commented on Dobbs' size considering I thought Kevin Feder would be a first round NFL Draft pick by now. Wasn't alone in that sentiment either I don't think.

I like the Rhode Island kid you can't coach that size. If he has the footwork to go along with that size he could play both guard and tackle at the same time.
