Bookends of Destruction.
I'm not around that much, running exhausted and lost...
Coach Mick provided the direction and those 2 followed it to a tee.

Holmes weighing more than Lewis is surprising. But nevertheless, go get your money men! And make Buckeye Nation proud.
Fields of Dreams
Not to me really as he has the 2 inches on him. Yea Holmes looks "skinny" but Lewis was a bit more stout for sure
I ran into Holmes last week on a flight and I can attest to those measurables. He is one big dude.

I think the more impressive thing is Holmes came in around what 240ish and is leaving 280ish... that's putting in work.
Well...it’s not like he’s the only college student to put on 40lbs over the course of their enrollment. It’s just his came from a diet of lean protein and Micks dojo...most of us get it from beer and greasy midnight snacks.
You're too stupid to have a good time. -Dalton
Mick's dojo and Dick's mojo are just too similar.
See I was more dedicated, I put on well over 40 lbs. and did so at all times of the day, not just midnight
Holmes is a nasty freak of an athlete, he's going to demolish the combine.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
Lewis is up to 276? Damn. I wasn't expecting that.
Meanwhile, at the Michigan "dojo"...
Yeah, he's the GOAT, but that doesn't make this picture any less funny. Not one bit.
His 40 video is also a fun time.
I hope that is the "before" picture, not the "after!"
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
Oh no, Major. That is the "after", sir. That is what the greatest QB in the history of the game looked like coming out of UM. Granted, it's 17 years ago, but...
He looks ready for a harbaugh sleepover...
The amazing thing is that photo... that 40 time.... that late pick in the draft... dude turns out to be the GOAT.... and STILL NFL teams make the same mistakes over and over and over putting too much emphasis on stuff like 40 times and bench press..
Lewis and Holmes have the responsibility to keep our streak of NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year winners going.

Don't forget Big Sam too!
Was curious about actuals and OSU depth chart numbers from the Cotton Bowl....
Holmes 6'4 3/4" and 279 pounds....OSU had him listed at 6'5 270 pounds
Lewis 6'2 3/4" and 276 pounds.... OSU had him at listed 6'4 265 pounds
They shrunk and got heavier :)
Can’t measure Holmes’ motor with these numbers. He’s one of the most underrated players at OSU in recent years. He split time with the Boss brothers, Tyquan, Hubbard, etc. and that kept some of his TFL stats down.
Look for Holmes to be an NFL starter within 2 years.
