Glad to see this..part of the college experience is to,take advantage of every opportunity presented to you. Have fun, impress a few scouts and move on to the next level.

If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.

That Dame Webb is so hot right now.jpg

Well deserved, Cotton Bowl Defensive MVP.

I'm not around that much, running exhausted and lost...

This game was a showcase for him.  Shrine on.

It would seem he earned this invite with last night's performance.  I hope he shines during the practice week for all of the scouts.

I can admit, I was tough on him to start the year. Always thought he was a huge liability. But he proved me wrong. Congrats D. Webb

Webb was a liability, an under-performer...

...for a longer time...

and then...

he rapidly improved and went out on top.   ;-{)}

Most improved player this year. Learning a new position set him back some last year evidently.

i can't take walterfootball seriously.  They have Lamar Jackson at 2.

If i could change my username, i would

Though draft analysts are comical with their insight and predictions, Charlie Campell, a writer for walterfootball, had the most correct draft predictions last year of all "media" sources. Lamar Jackson's skill set is enough to warrant a high draft pick prediction or even selection. Look at a certain OKLA QB who is gaining traction as a first round selection.

Mayfield is a lot better of a quarterback than Jackson.  Not as good an athlete though

OHIO STATE SAFETY DAMON WEBB

Webb was one of the best coverage safeties in the country this year, as opposing quarterbacks had a passer rating of just 29.5 when testing him. He posted four interceptions and a pass breakup, and did not give up a touchdown into his coverage in 2017. His passer rating against ranks fifth among all draft-eligible safeties this year.

Those are some great stats but I would be more than willing to get he isn't the 5th Safety off the board. Plays behind an awesome defensive line, doesn't have the top end speed to defend the deep half, not physical enough to play in the box at the next level, and eye discipline still needs some work. I hope he goes as the 5th Safety. However, I have a feeling your stats vs NFL scouts and his combine #'s will not paint the same picture. JMO

Webb was 'all around the football' for an extended time; lately, he's been 'on it'...   ;-{)}

So your faulting him for playing behind a great defensive line when Hooker,Lattimore and Conley basically played behind the same one? Also you say he not physical enough to play in the box you must didn't watch him play last year against Wisconsin, Penn State, MSU or TTUN. Actually at the next level he'll play free safety which is his more natural position. Webb IMO has proven he can play from the middle of the field to either side of the hash marks which was evident in the pic he had against MSU and the pic they took away from him against Penn State. From my understanding he 4.4 at the OSU combine training in May so........

Are you wiling to bet he goes no later than the 5th Safety off the board? If not, I don't know what you are arguing about. I stated that he would not be the 5th Safety off the board and why. He will not run a 4.4 at the NFL combine, low 4.5 at best . mid to high 4.5 is more likely. Feel free to re-post this in April if Im wrong.

The guy didn't say he would be the 5th safety off the board he said that webb had the 5th best passer rating as a safety in the country. Trust me the kid will run sub 4.5 I know this for fact so I'll take that bet.

If you are counting on these times, you are going to be sadly disappointed come April. These same stats had Braxton at 4.3 and he ran a 4.5 at the combine. Braxton was not the only one with an inflated 40 time. The rule is usually close to .15 difference. Good luck in April.

Webb got so much better as the season went on. He’s a guy I would have loved to see with one more year to develop.

Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.

Time to shine in the Shrine Damon. Anybody know where he is in mock draft boards? He has a good chance to build on his tremendous Cotton Bowl performance in the eyes of the scouts.

Congrats Damon. Well deserved. Make the best of the opportunity

Not surprised these games are giving these great Buckeyes an opportunity to shine as they will pull Buckeye Nation in to watch the game.
