She changed her prediction because of peer pressure?
ESPN rankings just came in; did you guys see them?
This is their rankings:
#1 - Georgia
#2 - Auburn
#3 - Alabama
#4 - LSU
#5 - Texas A&M
#6 - Florida
#7 - Kentucky
#8 - Missouri
#9 - Tennessee
#10 - Vanderbilt
#11 - Mississippi State
#12 - Mississippi
#13 - Arkansas
#14 - South Carolina
#15 and so on - doesn’t matter
Living the life! Go Buckeyes! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
1942, 1954, 1957, 1961, 1968, 1970, 2002, 2014 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
That joke is so 2014...
Winning wins Championships.
Sadly it still applies. Even when the SEC is down... they aren't.
Both are going down on New Year's Day because AlaBaba cannot compete with Clemson and JoeJa' is going to get stomped by Oklahoma.
My prediction is that the National Championship will be between Oklahoma and Alabama.
Both SEC teams are going down on New Year's Day because AlaBaba cannot compete with Clemson and JoeJa' is going to get stomped by Oklahoma.
yea she just changed...
of course.. she has to... it's ESPN.. she's not allowed to deviate.... just like FOX is all on OSU corner...
what else do you expect...
it was odd to begin w/ when she got on OSU bandwagon a bit for past week.. she has never done that... then she was on air against Finebaum and was pissing him off.... the 90 year old granny has power at ESPN... she backed down..
i don't like bama or osu this year.. but just to screw these idiots.. love to see bama left out.. (more so than seeing my OSU in.. b/c i think we get blown out by Clemson again w/ JT as QB...JT is not good.. just plain bad no matter how you twist it)
Her entire job is to follow the committee around. Last night she was saying what she though SHOULD happen. Today she is saying what will. She has talked to enough of them to know the decision has been made.
You've got barbecue back there?
They are locked incommunicado this AM. She is not following them around today.

That's what I'm thinking too: her prediction is likely based on sources.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Well the fact that she is around the committee is concerning.
Embedded the Tweet, all I can do from here.
I had to run away high, so I wouldn't come home low...
Don't lose to bad teams by 31 points if you want consideration IMO
The North remembers.
I mean we can also say don't lose to your only decent opponent if you want consideration in reference to Bama. They've got to take 4 teams, neither Bama or OSU is all that worthy, but they've gotta take one.
Losing to Auburn by 12 is better in every conceivable dimension than losing to Iowa by 31
Well no shit. Wins over Wisconsin, Penn State, and Michigan State are better than any that Alabama has.
And beating 3 teams ranked higher than any team beat by the team you’re being compared to is better in every conceivable dimension. See how that works?
Beat an FCS team instead.
If it's about losses and not wins I'm packing my bags to watch the Bucks in the NCAA tourney baby!!!!!
Heather got last year wrong.. even though she is 'embedded' w/ the committee.. she did not call for OSU being #4 last year...
so don't take it like that... only person i know who got all 3 years correct at every ranking spot (12 out 12).. is CBS sports analyst Jerry Palm.. he's the only perfect one.
and he just twitted last night and this morning he thinks #4 is OSU

I don't have a problem with OSU not getting selected but the argument used to keep the Buckeyes out in 2015 is going to be trumpeted loud and clear. Bama doesn't deserve it either.
I Hate Michigan.
Here's my question. In or out this year will probably be if the iowa loss gets us or not. But if the sec gets two teams in how much ruckus and the push to 8 teams does delany and scott make with 2 power 5 conference champs left out for 2 sec teams in a weak as hell sec this year.
i don't have a big prob if osu doesn't make it.. BUT not at the expense of 2 sec teams.. that's total BS... SEC is not worthy.. not even close... that would be outrage ...
further, the entire reason for 4 team playoff system is more inclusion and diversity.. how is 4 teams from GA, OK, AL and SC (all down south) represent that? especially when it's not unequivocally clear that Bama is better than OSU (any human can make an argument either way).. in this vague and diff case, you have to go w/ what's good for entire college football world - which is inclusion and diversity.. you leave Pac and BiG country out of it entirely, that isn't good for football.. for mediocre Bama? they love Bama brand, but the repercussions would be enormous if they include 2 SEC teams in this year..
We played 9 conference games, Bama played 8. We played 13 FBS schools, Bama played 11 and something called Mercer..
If we think Bama deserves to be in because we think they would beat Ohio State, then replace Georgia with Alabama. Ohio State would be favored to beat Georgia on a neutral site. I love the different criteria for different selections.
If two SEC teams make it in, you might as well just get rid of the committee. I'm fine if Ohio State does not get in or if it does get in. But it had better be USC or UCF to get in over Alabama. You know , conference champs without a chicken shit schedule.
AP poll just came out w/ Bama @ 4th.. by 7 pts..
1307 vs 1300 pts for AP vote count....
very close... meaningless but shows how close Playoff committee vote might be... 7 to6 or 8 to 5 vote likely
Only 10 are going to be able to vote, but yes
Oh I don’t give damn what the whole Comintern says - either way - The Buckeyes and their Legions of 11 Warriors will follow!!!!
