These are all correct, JG - including Harbaugh's mention here, it was a class act on his part.

I must admit I did not see Weber recovering from the pretty severe hamstring injury this season AND coming back with explosiveness we've never seen from him.  Great story, we have two premier RB's and some damn good backups too.

Chalking that Iowa game up to us having an emotional letdown after PSU. Rutgers could've beaten us as flat and uninspired as we played in that game. That is most certainly on the coaches.

Rutgers can't score a single point against us, so I don't think they could have.  Maybe Purdue or Maryland though

I couldn’t agree more.  Nebraska—the university and it’s fans deserve better.  The B1G West division deserves better.  With that said, I also think the Frost camp is throwing up some smoke and mirrors.  He’s leading a team that is undefeated and needs to stay focused in order to position themselves for a New Years Six spot.  As good as they have looked at times, they still don’t have the margin for error to lose right now.  I think that’s why they’re doubling down with staying at UCF.

Aside from being a lifelong Buckeye, I'm a UCF grad and Orlando resident.  I can honestly say that program is starting to realize some of the potential it's always had.  He's just starting to get his own guys, but the schedule has to improve.  Word is that his wife is pulling some of the strings and absolutely loves it here (aside from the weather, I couldn't disagree more).  Nebraska is a difficult job, especially in the Big Ten.  If they should win against USF and next week against Memphis....again...., it's very likely they could finish in the top 6-8 of the final CFP.

For the 7 years/35 mil Nebraska has reportedly offered him they can keep their Orlando home and his wife can charter a jet there whenever she wants.  Frost is still very close with Tom Osborne and from small town Nebraska where Husker football is religion- I would be shocked if he’s not Nebraska’s coach next year.

What on God's Green Earth happened in Iowa City on Nov. 4? For as long as I live, I am not sure there will ever be a good explanation for how a fringe playoff team got throttled by Kirk Ferentz and Iowa. The Hawkeyes lost by nine at home to PURDUE over the weekend, leaving me even more baffled that Ohio State couldn't even compete with Iowa three weeks ago.

I have two theories:

1) God hated us that day

2) OSU plays Penn State and it took everything they had to beat them.  I was emotionally exhausted just watching it. They go to Iowa and get beat down.  Sparty plays Penn State and wins a hard fought game.  They go to Cbus and get beat down.  Therefore, beating Penn State takes a lot out of you and sets you up for an embarrassing loss the next week.

We play IU the week after playing at PSU next year. if we manage to win in Beaver Stadium we're going to be flat the following week. Thankfully the IU game is at home next year and not Bloomington.

Weber:  I'll take Weber over Dobbins anyday, twice on Saturday, smoother runner, hits the hole quicker, you need backs like that. Dobbins is more a bulldozer..Weber is just quicker...

Harbaugh is a class act...Didnt have to mention ANYTHING for the Glenn family..did anyway...The guy may be a bit a jerk at times, but he's a damn find representative to the Big 10+4...my hats off to him..

Iowa: If I could turn back time...still trying to figure that one..

The bowls?  I got a new Baracalounger, and treated myself (self Xmas gift)...to a new 60 Inch Plasma (Mitsubishi)...let the bowl season begin!!..

Harbaugh is not a “class act”. However he did do a classy thing in propping TG and family. Maybe he’s not an alien...  we should still kick him around and while he’s down on Saturday. Then say something nice about him after the game/s.

Crazy thing about Weber and Dobbins is that they'll probably both be back next year. I don't think Weber has a high draft stock as a redshirt sophomore right now due to his limited in-game experience this season, and Dobbins is a true freshman.

RB's due to the wear-and-tear (with some notable exceptions) typically have very short tenures in the NFL ... I'd be surprised if he doesn't enter the draft at the end of this season, but hope you're right.

I disagree with part of your Iowa assessment.  I've called the coaches to task in the past for terrible game plans, but Iowa wasn't one them.  They weren't ignoring wide-open deep routes to force the ball into double coverage or continually misjudging where the tight ends were in space.  There's a difference between the schematic meltdowns of the last few years and guys just not executing, and I feel Iowa was the latter.  The guys on the field bought into the post-PSU hype that they didn't have to do anything else and it was going to be 2014 again and got their asses kicked across the board.

Doddering old guy here. I know impending senility clouds my judgement and opinions. Yet I for one would like to see respect and honor replace hate as the theme of the rivalry. Harbaugh made a good first step with his comments about Glenn.

Everyone likes a nice guy... I get it. And we all want our kids to play for coaches we respect. But what has Mike Reilly ever done to be treated with such kid gloves? Bo Pelini won much more often at UNL. (Not that I would want Pelini coaching my son.) Reilly makes $M’s, and has earned very little of it. Has he ever heard of defense?  Good riddance....
