Like the tuxes lol.
Honestly, I could care less about JT's stats. Having such an experienced player like him in those situations was the most important thing. We are definitely going to miss JT but the season ain't over yet!
"You're the patron saint of the totally effed" - Hot Tub Time Machine
But these stats are some of the most impressive I have ever seen. Of his 6 incompletions 2 were clear pass interference that were not called and 3 were flat out dropped. The other was the ball to Johnny Dixon that just floated in the air a little too long. I am not trying to sound like a whiner, but did it feel like the officials were calling some insane BS against us and ignoring penalties for PSU? The Barkley run was a a block in the back on Arnette who was in position to make the tackle. How else does he land on his face? The PI in the endzone in the 3rd made me want to break something. Also couldn't believe they did not review the Victor "fumble" that would have given us 15 extra yards.
Hold on, let me go get a Manhattan and we'll go through this together.
New Day for OSU. Same noon for TTUN.
Nice - working on a Gin and Tonic as well
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!

Great GIF post game GB10
It was a privilege, that I will think about for years to come, to watch JT Barrett dissect Penn State "University" with the precision with which a cardiologist performs open fucking heart surgery. Thanks JT. Go Buckeyes!

Epic performance. Will take a while to completely wrap our heads around the greatness we witnessed today.
"The future is bright at Ohio State." - Urban Meyer 1/1/15
He is the best QB in my lifespan at Ohio State. He owns the record book. He was THE MAN today. My 13 year old son said early in the 3rd quarter that we will miss JT in a huge way next season. I agree.
Ramzy for the win. JTB has always been that guy. Many believed, even in the darker times.
Some doubted, understandably... but have come back aboard the Captain’s train.
Some hated, and are still nowhere to be found. Wonder if we will hear from them again?
You win with people.
And so forth...
9 Units Strong!
I had my doubts at times, but I'm man enough to eat that crow right now.
It’s cute how everyone acts like the J.T. Barrett we saw tonight was the same J.T. Barrett that played against Oklahoma. Whether it was him, the coaches or the receivers, something was broken in that game and early in the season. Cohesion takes time and we are reaping the benefits. I WAS A DOUBTER. Kind of sick of seeing other posters act like my judgement was completely wrong. I’m still not sure it was BUT I can say I am happy as shit that he performed the way he did tonight. I’ve never questioned his character or leadership and I have always wanted him to succeed. I hope he continues to shine and he leaves OSU as the most decorated QB in NCAA history. All aspects of our team have grown but let’s keep our chin and nose out of the air until we evaluate this season as it concludes. I’m excited for JT and I am also thrilled about our future.
I think that the "told you so" crowd had one collective point, and that wasn't that Oklahoma ('17), Clemson, and Michigan ('16) didn't happen. But, that Sparty ('14), Michigan ('14), Notre Dame, and Oklahoma ('16) did happen also.
He's proven capable of doing what he did tonight.

Well said 3M. ALL of the above things are what make JT who he is. Is he a great college QB? Yes. Is he a future NFL QB? Probably not. But that doesn't diminish, in any way, what he's done as a Buckeye. Love me some JTBIV!!
OU was extremely fortunate to catch OSU so early this season. Working in a new OC and secondary. Play that game next Saturday and OSU wins by 21
Urban Meyer >Jim Harbaugh for ever and ever, Amen. 0
USMC11917, I'll upvote you here....because it's never been that JTB supporters had a problem with doubters. He earned some criticism. The offense struggled often for two years. I disagree he was the main reason, but he was part of the mess.
As we've said before... the stick with JTB/go in another direction is not and was never the problem. Doubting/differing opinions...fine.
It's the haters who ignored all contrary evidence and had no answers when pressed past their tunnel vision trashing of JTB.
Pointing to where he struggled without ever acknowledging everywhere he was good. never addressing the fact that despite the championship run in 14/15... JTB was a better college QB than Cardale who beat him out in 2015. Disagreeing with Meyer, Wilson, and Day... plus a host of other actual football experts about the problems with our offense. Moving the goalposts of what would define success for JTB week to week.
Your doubts aren't the problem. The irrational hate was.
J. T. Barrett sucks.
He sucks the will to live right out of his opponents.
Bobbing for french fries.
Managing your expectations makes guys like Krenzel and Barrett so much more fun. I'm glad I've been able to enjoy the ride for both of them.
JT is always Composed. Never shows panic and one the best Leaders I've seen at QB.
Love that guy!

That was an absolute clinic, and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving QB.

You can't win or lose the game in the 1st quarter
Damn, just damn. J.T. was absolutely amazing today, and we live to talk about it.

Bravo! Enjoy a canoli
This team now knows it can win ANY game.
Awesome point, and the thing is, that confidence can spread like wildfire to the team and it can be a poison to the opponents.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
Brilliant Barf! Ramzy nice comparison with Barrett and Krenzel in both having an even keel demeanor no matter the situation. Great victory!
Making the Great State of Ohio proud. Ohio against the World!
Will SOMEBODY please make this a tshirt
"Take the touchdown, leave the canoli. And tell Ramsey to get me some Pappy fall release."
Wow, another gem of an article Ramzy!!!! Hit it on the head. Big Props to JTBIV. GO BUCKS!!!!
JT Barrett on the season through 8 games:
171-246 passing (69.5% completion), 2166 yards, 25 TD's and 1 INT
454 yards rushing 5 TD's
Folks, sit back and enjoy what is happening. It will most likely never happen again in our lifetime. If you didn't think JT should be running this offense, you were wrong. JT is legit. Period. End of story.
JT is way more than his numbers...and his numbers don’t lie!!!!
JT Barrett put the 2014 team on his good leg, and willed them to win in double OT against Penn State in Happy Valley. It was a turning point that season, and it was when I thought they could win it all.
Tonight, Barrett did it again; but he did it against all odds, in the 4th quarter, down by 15, and he did it with his “weenie arm”. This is a turning point for the team. I believe they have the potential, once again, to win it all.

Enjoy the few remaining games we have to watch J.T. Barrett. No matter who waits in the wings, we are really, really going to miss him when he is gone.
Ramzy thank you for sharing that Clarrett moment. I'd never heard that. And yes, JT is a little like Batman...he's the hero the Buckeyes (and fans) deserve, but one they've (some) never really felt they needed. In the end, he is needed more than any of us will ever know. Thank you JT.
I want to buy you a drink
Any time, Country.
I have heard Krenzel said things in the huddle to keep players loose like telling Yo Mamma jokes.

The Krenzels, Cardales, Kerns, and Millers can point to to championships and undefeated seasons and their detractors immediately shut up. I hope J.T. joins that club and just taps jewelry anytime someone detracts. Shoot, I still maintain he and Braxton have as much to do with that '14 title as anyone.

They do, there is a group shot of the 3 Conquistadors, and just ask Dolodale
JT is now in the Heisman top 3. Assuming he finishes the season strong and we win the B1G, he has to be a favorite due to his total body of work over 4 years, but especially 2017. Heisman hype is officially on!

I'm alive!!! There were times yesterday I was not sure that would be the case today. Thanks to Mr Barrett IV and his team I am extremely happy. Don't care what happens after this season, I'd invest in his future. Whatever the future brings, may it bring him the happiness he helped bring us yesterday!!!
While it may go without saying, great job as usual Mr Nasrallah.
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
I didn't get to watch it. Haven't been able to watch OSU and some of the world series because of Fox 36 over the last month. Fox out of Toledo is holding sports (and fans) hostage for more money from Directv. I'll get to watch the replay today. Fox sucks! Fox is also a 51% owner of the big 10 network. You would think they would understand the importance of watching your favorite team....or maybe they do.
12 Gauge fan
Fricker's shows the games doesn't it?
Fox sports go app still works or better yet go get you an antenna and get it over the air. Best picture quality anyways is over the air.
Noon games suck
I'm in the same boat here in Raleigh. So I've been using the FoxSportsGo app when the Buckeyes are playing on Fox. If you've got an Amazon Fire Stick, you can even download the app and watch it on your TV. I saw no difference between it and watching on an actual "channel" - in fact, I kept forgetting i was actually "streaming" the game.
How COOL is college football?? - Craig Krenzel
Thank you Ramzy
I saw Ryan Day hang 62 on Michigan...His hair was perfect.
Go Buckeyes Beat Michigan
Last night was about oline and receivers as much as I was about JT. All three phases were needed down the stretch to pull of that incredible comeback. JT got the protection he needed to deliver and he delivered as well as receivers making great catches with PSU defenders in their faces hanging all over them. It wasn't all JT. I don't care for the Heisman because it contributed as a distraction for us losing an NC. While Troy Smith was of receiving his hardware as well as other mandatory appearances afterwards, Florida was working hard towards shoving the trophy up his ass. It gives incentives and bulletin board material to the other team. I use to think that Craig Krenzel's late throw against Purdue and Germaine's game winning drive in the Rose bowl were my favorites but JT did it three times in a row. Just outstanding.
It wasn't all JT.
So true. In addition to receivers and O-line, it was also the coaches calling a good game.
All involved brought our level of play down and all brought it back up.
It was never all JT.
I told everyone 10 years from now, he will be the qb on some peoples all time TOSU teams. He won't be unanimous as Orlando Pace. But he will make some lists.
Who should start for Ohio State at QB next week at Iowa
— Ramzy Nasrallah (@ramzy) October 28, 2017
I'll go with Other!
ONE Not Done!
Yes, that was the most incredible performance ever by a Buckeye QB.
Let us not forget to credit the O-line too, for giving him time to make those stunning throws.
First and goal at the five and Arch is getting the ball.
Urban Meyer calls JT Barrett a "man's man". That is a description of character that could apply to anyone, football player or not, but in reality is a description that only applies to a select few.
In other news, Ramzy Nasrallah is good at writing.
In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...
Ramzy, one of the best posts I've ever read. Long time reader, first time poster...in your honor. Thank you for your contributions!!!
