Jordan Fuller is the real deal. No doubt
Yep Fuller is a future All Big10 performer no doubt.
Just posting and hoping my comment isn’t deleted.
Gatorade player of the year in 2015 in same state as Rashon Gary......
"Life is not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. THATS HOW WINNING IS DONE!!" - Rocky Ballboa
Good news from UFM - especially regarding injuries, but no mention of Haskell Garrett?
Apologies if I missed.
I just pray to the sweet baby football Jesus that the play calling does not go full 537 qb draws the 28th. Keep it open Wilson. Please
Don't be ridiculous. We use the bubble screen in close games too.
Harbaugh said his kicker/holder/long-snapper battery is executing at a high level. Kicker Quinn Nordin is 14-of-16 on field goals this season, and a perfect 17-of-17 on extra points.
Harbaugh really is a troll among trolls. He used time during this teleconference call to talk about his kicker/holder/snapper and their chemistry and how well they're playing together? You really have no other positional group to talk about or focus on?
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
It was rumored Harbaugh said the "get back" coach had a really good game as well
"No matter where you go, there you are." B. Banzai
Harbaugh on the rest of the game: "The hydration specialists really stepped up, the color of the urine in the toilets during halftime and after the game showed that they were doing their job effectively."
I didn't realize they had toilets in the Big Out House! It's 3:16 pm and TSUN still Sucks!
The whole place is a toilet
Harbaugh also felt very proud of the school record set last Saturday. "I felt we were in pretty good shape when we hit 10 penalties ... but with the game winding down .. our guys really focused and we were able to accomplish our goal of 16 penalties in one game". "I was not bitterly disappointed with the effort shown by our young men"
They were this close: | | to 17
I'm sure he was bitterly disappointed they didn't get it.
Wasn't Nordin the recruit he had the sleepover with?
Makes you think.....
You've got barbecue back there?
It isn't bad play calling and dropped passes. Oh wait, yes it was.
Meyer praised Ohio State's play calling and wide receiver play
Franklin agreed with Urban Meyer about limiting a team to two road conference night games per season. "It's brutal on the players and coaches."
Penn State has had one road night game and might not have another this year (possibly MSU). So the cap wouldn't appear to affect you.
Doesn't mean that he can't agree with Urban.
I hate it too as a spectator.
Used to be, Id watch GameDay at 11am, Then the Noon game, then 3:30, then 7:30pm game. Now all the good games are on a 7:30pm or 8pm. You never see a decent match up at Noon Ever.
Screw the networks, I mean it. Im tired of this nonsense too w the B10 Network and their 10 year anniversary special. Like the Network did something great, its the schools, the fans who make it great. Not the Network, B10 Network should be kissing ass of all the fans.
I have to agree with this. 10 years in and their coverage still sucks. Their analysts aren't any good, and the whole production looks like I'm shooting it in my basement. Fact is people want to follow their teams, and it's all about getting eyeballs, so now we're subjected to watching the Buckeyes play Rutgers at night because BTN wants to show a primetime team instead of a primetime matchup.
They hate us cuz they aint us!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I posted something to this effect a few mos back. BTN is unwatchable outside of games. Even the OSU puff pieces aren't great. The reeeeally nice thing about the night tilts is the Gus Johnson factor
A man got to have a code...
That's the cost of accepting those big-ass network dollars. "If you take the King's penny, then you do the King's bidding" as they say.
So true. At least Friday night games aren't a thing.
Behold the chunky whoop ass.
The Game is always at noon, but you are right, most of the big games are at night.
You never see a decent match up at Noon Ever.
The Game is a noon kickoff.

Good for Knox. Long time coming
I feel like Burrell looked pretty small out there regardless of what his listed weight is.
Word. I alway got Burrell and Hill mixed up
Extra week to get healthy and prepare. Sounds good to everybody.
I'd be interested in knowing who the coaches are visiting on these recruiting trips. I've got to imagine Emory Jones is getting a visit, Cook in Texas and hopefully someone's hitting up Jackson Carmen as well. Gotta figure the various DE's will be getting some love from the coaching staff as well.
Coach Harbaugh complaining about the questions--he needs his own personal waaaambulance.
You Got Barbecue Back There!?!?!?!
Open-ended questions are a reporter's job. It keeps everything from being a boring yes or no. By the way, enjoyed the riverwalk last night.
I think press conferences should only allow True/False, multiple choice, or yes/no questions. Maybe even give them the questions in advance.
To keep the coaches from going off like Brian Kelly? These guys are paid big bucks. They should be able to answer with a coherent explanation. Sorry if you were being sarcastic.
Undoubtedly. A lot of sarcasm has been missed recently. Tempts me to break out the "/s" but I keep telling myself I should be a good enough smart ass for folks to get it.
I love downtown San Antonio. The riverwalk is great--pricey--but a lot of fun.
Couldn't believe how busy it was on a Monday night.
Every night. Here for a visit?
Taking a course here at one of the AF bases.
Cool. I work up at Randolph AFB if you need anything.
Thanks, and keep doing good work. Appreciate your service!
No wonder Lovie Smith didn't make an appearance on the call. If the team I coached had just lost to Rutgers, I wouldn't either.
So proud and happy for MEECHY, another on the long list of grinding Bucks. Now, get out there and beat down ichigan and psu. He's getting it, now!
Riley said his talk with new athletic director Bill Moos was "very social." Said the conversation was about the past, and not about the future.
I'm sure talking about their glorious past is fun, but it might be time for the Nebraska leadership to focus on the future.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I was going to post something about this myself...if I was an employee and there was no talk about the future, I wouldn't be feeling too confident.
In my experience there last week, the Nebraska fanbase wants 2 things: Frost for coach (there were a lot of election themed "Frost 2018" t-shirts), and, surprisingly, they're waiting on Osborne to pass away to eliminate his lingering influence on the program (their words).
I'm going out on a limb and guessing there isn't much future to discuss...
"Harbaugh accused a reporter of asking too many open-ended questions."
Ha! His stupid asperger's shuts him down if he can't answer "yes" or "no".
Come on man, "stupid asperger's"?
"Old minds are like old horses; you must exercise them if you wish to keep them in working order."
GreenOSU, please be respectful of someone with disabilities. They didn't ask to be put in that situation. Just be nice.
As an Asperger’s patient, yes, it is sometimes hard to respond when someone questions you about something you are doing wrong. Because you can’t stand when you’re wrong.
But please don’t mock the disability, that’s just not cool man. You’re born with it and can’t do anything to change it. And from experience - it’s a daily struggle to manage.

Can some body who knows football tell me if secondary struggles are more corners or safeties or is my question completely stupid ?
Ya lose us a ballgame and by God I'll throw ya off the squad.... W.W. Hayes
It depends on the scheme they play against. Press coverage from the corners against Indiana led to some one on one matchups they struggled against. The Oklahoma game was more the linebackers and somewhat the safeties losing the RB's out of the backfield and TE's in the middle of the field. The LB core has improved and DB's have done a better job in press coverage, namely Ward and Arnette.
Two things imo. Still have some trust issues on defense where guys want to sneak a peek at something that's not their assignment. Bigger issue with secondary is zone coverage. Struggled early in the year and then went away from it and I think some of the bad play against Nebraska was us back in zone. Seems to be a REAL disconnect of when a receiver moves from zone to zone about who/where coverage should be. No chemistry between the backers and the DBs seems to be the culprit. You just can't play man 100% an expect to win against tougher opponents. have to be able to show different looks.
It's similar to some of the problems the offense had earlier in the season. We've got these coaches bringing NFL style plays to these 18-20 year old kids and it's a learning process.....
This is an excellent point as our opponents have faced us in continuous man to man, we must be able to come out of that for options and surprises yet good heavens it is impressive to watch our guys play press coverage while pressure comes down! We do not drop well into zones nor do we seem to be active once we get into our sections!
I would rather be on hand with 10 men then elsewhere with 10,000 - Timur Lenk
I will say as a Safety it is all Sheffield's fault! Though normally I joke, in this case Sheffield is NOT getting his hips around as the receiver comes out of his break. He appears completely stiff out there, which tends to draw even more ire from the refs than his already grab ass way of playing corner would normally do! This powerful young man would have been very difficult in the 70's and the way the game was called yet in this era he is just to mechanical!
What the hell is wrong with Harbaugh? I used to laugh at his schtick but now it's just pathetic.
"You're the patron saint of the totally effed" - Hot Tub Time Machine
He's in a deer in the headlights trance cuz he knows he's got a double ass- whipping COMING!
"Triple" ass-whipping coming, don't forget the trip to Wisconsin!
But he can avoid a 5-loss season with a victory in the Kibbles and Bits Dogfood Bowl.
Probably worn out thinking about that Colts gig :) Lots of reports this week that Luck could play but Indy has shelved him to make a run at the #1 pick for the new coach...
Be careful, he is a heck of a coach. We are lucky to have him in B10, seriously.
Yeah, that's the narrative everyone was trying to shove down our throats. What happens when they realize his coaching skills are overrated, and the blue chips stop coming because he's all talk and no substance. Then all they'll have is his charming personality, sharp wit and endearing sense of self importance.
I think we got sold the wrong Harbaugh
We're proud of you, Meechy! Keep grinding.
Been waiting years to say this. WTG MEECH!
Knox grading as a champion is a great reward for his performance. Hopefully Campbell, Jordan, and Holmes are ready to full out roll against PSU.
Thank the Lord that Tom Allen got asked a question. I was wondering how long his unasked streak would go.
Barney Fife lives, and he lives amongst us.
Harbaugh accused a reporter of asking too many open-ended questions. The question asked pertained to Michigan's quarterback play.
What a douche. But we already knew that.
"We get paid to score touchdowns, not kick field goals"
-- Urban Meyer
Fields of Dreams
No questions for Ferentz = lock coach of the year
That's got to be frustrating, though--you show up for the call but no one wants to talk to you.
Good for Knox. I was down on him a few weeks ago, not really based on anything other than guessing that since he had seemingly been passed by several other younger guards, it was unlikely he had much of a future here. He kept at it and took advantage of his big chance You definitely would not have noticed we had an injury replacement on the offensive line from watching the Nebraska game.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
He definitely played kick ass vs. Nebraska. I think someone got inside that facemask and said it is now or never!!!!
My hope is that someone was Knox.
The whole game I couldn`t stop watching KNOX I just had a bad memory of him getting beat last year on his first play in. ////////////?What a remarkable turnaround for him I was really impressed. Hope he continues to make a name for himself and get to the next level
Allen said changing the culture at Indiana has been challenging when creating an expectation of success when times get hard.
Too bad we're not playing Indiana this week. I'm guessing Kevin Wilson might've taken exception to this remark.
Harbuagh should be thrilled his FG kicker is hitting so many FG's - they sure as hell aren't scoring many TD's.
No, I don't know anyone who works there, but I have to laugh at the negative comments about the BTN in this thread. Ten years ago people on this site and others were taking pitchforks to Comcast, Time Warner, and any other outlet who wouldn't include the BTN in their package or charged a premium for it. If we had to watch Ohio State play Youngstown State at a sports bar (or not see it at all) instead of at home, we bitched like a bunch of old women.
Living on the east coast, the BTN allows me to watch Big Ten basketball -- or else I'd be forced to watch Providence play St. John's -- or the like.....2-3 times per week.
So, as I ask you to get off my lawn.......I need to remind some of you that you're memories are a bit short when it comes to the BTN and how things would be without it. Actually, I know what it would be like -- listening to games on the radio or following a stream on a computer. The reactions would be beyond laughable.
The B1G has certainly improved, probably 99% because of Urban. But goodness, there is still some extreme incompetence in this league...just comical.
In other news, I really truly believe that if TTUN loses this weekend and to Wisconsin, Urban has a chance to absolutely end him as a college coach.
Yes, if that scene plays out, Harbaugh will be the next coach of the Indy Colts next year.
To your central point......99% is a bit much.
Mark Dantonio has turned around Michigan State; Penn State came out of its own ashes and Wisconsin is as solid and steady as ever. Durkin will get all that anyone ever can out of Maryland and nobody is laughing at Purdue right now.
If you want to point at ILL and Rutgers as evidence of incompetence, I will agree with you.
It's true that Meyer has forced EVERYONE to up their game in recruiting. But to suggest that even as good of a coach as Meyer is....that he is responsible for "99%" of the League's improvement, when his team is going to have to play their asses off to avoid missing the conference championship 3 years in a row, is over-the-top, imho.
