Dobbins > Barkley.
PG <3 PG
I’m sure the Cowboys would be fine with that
Clearly Zeke wants to get better. Wants to be a real gym rat. First professional player in, last professional player out. a pro's pro, but really a college's pro.

Is it just me or does anyone else see the family resemblance...

The late, great, Al Davis set the standard...
Hard to argue that one Hove!
Has anyone ever seen Jerrah and Al Davis (RIP) in the room at the same time?!?
The universe is too vast for that to ever happen.
Oakland Buckeye, you missed my AMA !
And even if they are, why would anyone think OSU would be OK with it? Who wants to volunteer to run that press conference?
Reporter: "Coach Meyer, who's decision was it to invite a former player, currently suspended from the NFL for alleged domestic assault, to practice with the team?"

The only way this happens IMO is to have Zeke demonstrate how to crush someone on kickoff returns
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
For real! Lets invite Colin in too, might as well add to the PR nightmare! Sheesh!
Zeke is probably going to hold out hope on being able to play. I see where you're going because Saban has done this a lot, but I doubt it.
Saban has done this a lot
Given Alabama's track record with RBs in the NFL, he may want to rethink that decision
Shandy is not beer
My guess is that his contract says no way (thinking about the WInslow Jr motorcycle episode)

Yes he probably could and as Bucks2TheNatty said, Saban has done it with some former players but I highly doubt the Cowboys would be ok with one of their franchise guys practicing with a college team and risking injury. Plus, he might not actually get suspended we will see.
Sure. While we're at it let's see about getting Lebron out on the practice floor with the basketbucks.
I highly doubt he would. He might come back to Columbus to party during those 6 weeks, but I doubt he would practice. From what I understand though, he's not out of legal options and theres still a chance he'll be able to play.
As mentioned, Saban did that with Trent Richardson, but he wasn't under contract. I know the one big stipulation is the team can't announce he's doing it, so even if he did, we wouldn't know until after the fact.
You're too stupid to have a good time. -Dalton
I think it would go poorly but that's one hell of a thought. Well done .
Ya lose us a ballgame and by God I'll throw ya off the squad.... W.W. Hayes
No but it would be awesome if Zeke would work out at the WHAC during the week leading up to PSU. That'd psyche everyone up.

I'm not sure Urban wants to introduce that element to this team.
I think a more practical and likely scenario is bringing in freshly unemployed Jalin Marshall in to simulate Barkley on kick off returns.
I guess that would be one way to simulate Barkley nearly dropping every kick.
JK Dobbins reminds me of Saquon Barkley with a little less power. In all honesty, I believe we already have the running back we need to help the defense prepare. Elite elusiveness and deadly jump cuts are what they see on a weekly basis now.
I would not want to deal with that PR circus leading up to our biggest game of the season thus far. We need to lock ourselves in the bunker with no distractions and Zeke would be media poison right now. Love you Zeke, but we're good for now.
They aren't allowed to discuss it while the player is there practicing or announce beforehand that they are going to be there. We wouldn't hear about it until after the game.
TMZ would find a way to tunnel under the stadium or spy drone. /s
Not a good idea either way.
Also this vvv
Not sure it's needed. Defense has to face in practice JK and Weber combo. And when they aren't in the play, you have the GOAT and Williams. If the four of them don't teach you your lanes and how to be disciplined, then it adding Zeke won't do any more good.
except that zeke operates all facets of the position by himself, much as barkley does. each one of those guys while great isnt great at everything at the same time.
I thought that decision got flipped back this weekend, and that he was allowed to play again?
its anticipated that the suspension will go into effect at some point but yes he is available to play this week.
I would bring him in and a host of other OSU greats for the weekend only, being that the Penn St game is a HUGE recruiting weekend.
I really hope you don't work for a public relations firm.
He can play the Barkley role
We're all aware of what his suspension (if it happens) is for. UFM would never welcome that to his team. Carlos Hyde got suspended for less than Zeke is accused of.
just run it down their throats
If Zeke is gonna get suspended, Jerry sure as hell isn't going to volunteer him for getting hit for the old college.....6 fewer game of wear and tear is not insignificant for an NFL RB-------bad visuals and NFL/NCAA bs completely aside......................
No. Not a chance in hell.
I think that is literally the last thing on that young man's mind, now.. bigger things to handle.
Trent Richardson was practicing with Alabama at some point, I don't see why he couldn't, but why would he want too? He can probably get in with a personal trainer to maintain his shape and stay on point. I'd bet Jerry Jones would take exception to him working out with the Buckeyes, especially if he somehow injured himself.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
