Is anyone surprised that Paul Brown ran one single drill for 2 hours?

Matt - lots of fantastic details.

From the reviews - I'll take a hard pass on the Red Cap Ale

Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!

It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.

Bringing up another from your past, Matt, a great write-up on Professor Csuri:

Got M...igan gossip? Bang it here.

"I'd rather read that the gridders were staying rundown houses in the Miller-Kelton area. Places without enough beds and holes in the ceilings. Treat the players like dogs and see them bite the next morning."

Matt, this is too funny! But then again, might be a good idea, too!

I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.

If you are looking to go into coaching at any level you would do well to emulate Paul Brown. For those who enjoy this look back at the 42 season by Matt if I'm allowed I would recommend Jack Park book The Official Ohio State Football Encyclopedia. This has been fun Matt looking back at the players from a bygone era.

I think Chuck Csuri is still alive. Correct?  Another good book is Expanding Your Horizons about the 1942 team and its players.

Yes, I believe you are correct.
