What can Brown do for you?
Love him or hate the Kam Chancellor comparison is pretty cool for Brooks.
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
First (I was afraid, then I was petrified...)
Glad to hear Chatfield is 100 percent committed and not 110 percent.
"I kind of pulled back, and I think I pulled something." Orlando Pace
110% is the kiss of death Tank
Typo andrew. Cam brown is 2018.
Will be interesting to see the DE situation play out. I'd be fine if Chatfield sticks, but not at the expense of Parsons, Smith, or Oweh. This is why the staff gets the big bucks.
Fields of Dreams
And why the Bucks are big (and B1G).
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
"“I am committed, so I am 100 percent,” Chatfield told reporters gathered at the event. “You know, I made a choice. The coaches don't mind me visiting and seeing other schools.”"
Thank goodness it's not the dreaded 110%. I'd be worried at that point.

I still don't get Dantonios point of view
Birm shows a now deleted tweet from Chatfield a few days ago of just a gator and nothing else. It's pretty immature to do crap like that promoting other schools when you are committed. Just my humble opinion.
Buckeye For Life
Agree, but sounds as if the key word is immature.
I'll give Chatfield the benefit of the doubt, regardless if he stays or goes.
Got M...igan gossip? Bang it here.
Calling him immature is a little harsh.
BigBuckeye says Go Bucks
Agreed. But in Chatfield's case, weren't we considering him more as an OLB? Agreed with what you said earlier but just wondering if you knew more on this one.
"...there is still a significant separation.”
Right? It's almost like the guy is only 16-17 or something...
A man got to have a code...
You are right. It's a life changing decision that would be tough for a 25 year old to make let alone a 16 year old. We are way too critical of these young men and their decisions.
Looks like he has now removed the pinned tweet from when he committed to Ohio State. Still retweeting pro-Florida stuff too. Doesn't look like someone who is 100% committed to the Buckeyes.
I think it's window dressing and he's going to be out of the class. Which I don't mind if we land a guy like Oweh or Parsons, or both.
Either way, we will be just fine. If Chatfield stays that great but if he stays closer to home then good for him too. At least he is checking his options now and not later. He could be a disgruntled sophomore looking to transfer in two years from OSU to Miami. Better to find out now and potentially not waste our coaches precious time coaching up someone who may regret being a Buckeye. I hope he stays committed and helps kick Meat Chicken's @$$!!!
It didn't look like Shaun Wade was going to be a Buckeye and look what happened with him. Let's wait and see what the young chooses to do.
I guess it depended on who you listened to.
I don't think 5 DE's in a class is that outrageous considering Meyer's history of developing them into DT's. As long as they are top notch can't miss difference makers. No need to be reaching at any positions right now imo.
MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS
I agree. There is a lot of talk on here about Smith moving inside. Just have to realize that after this season there are still 3 really good ones returning (Bosa, Cooper, and Young).
Have fun with all your toys Coach Johnson!
Truly amazing how much talent we have to use at our disposal this year and how we have some fresh young'ins right behind them.
Lots of big boy toys to play with. (In a non sexual way) I didn't like my wording. I can't see a better D line group from top to bottom in college football that better than ours. Clemson, Bama, and LSU are certainly in the conversation though.
So, the dv'er is out.
Chatfield has to figure it out. As long as he is honest with the staff, whether he stays or goes it will all be ok.
I can't blame a kid for checking schools closer to home especially when he didn't have an offer when he commitied to the "good guys." Let's give the young man a break here
A lot of speculation that Parsons is going to recommit to the shit hole he was initially committed to. His teammate definitely things he will follow him there. Hope he is wrong.
Not sure where you've heard that. Penn State still has a chance, but I don't believe Parsons really wants to go there. He doesn't think highly of their fans. And he's bashed their class on twitter before.
That's good to hear for us about Parsons. If he commits here then obviously that perfect. If he commits somewhere else that fine too except if it's Meat Chicken. Bottomline it's best if he come here just see a rival lose a 5* is a win. Come to Columbus Micah, that's where you want to go. (Jedi mind trick)
I was reading landof10 and parsons teammate committed to State penn and is very high that he will follow
I respect that Mr. Chatfield has been committed a long time. A Buckeye in my view. Parsons is a priority of course but needy for attention. Oweh is not high on my wish list. Just learning and I don't care about measureables because they don't include heart. If we don't get Oweh, I don't care.
St. Louis WR is 55th best... Not exactly 52nd best like Hooker. Stay close to home and Happy B day to your dad.
I seriously doubt that Brown has a commitable offer. I hear the only true WR that we are recruiting is Babb and that's fine in my book. Blue Smith too if you count him as a WR and not a hybrid type.
It's a distinct possibility that a couple of these projected OSU DEs end up playing DT. Tyreke Smith is going to be too big for a DE. I picture a Dremont Jones clone at DT. Parsons maybe hits the weights and outs on a ton of muscle and playing weight who knows. Oweh has more of a DE frame and Chatfield may end up like a Josh Perry playing OLB. Everyone needs to slow their roll about OSU taking too many DEs. I have read it here and on other sites. It's getting real old real quick. In Urban I trust. What about you?
Exactly. 1 or 2 towards DT and maybe 1 or 2 towards a LB means we are in great shape and with our defensive coaching mindset all can thrive.
