I bet we see much more of CJ the rest of the year...it seemed he got more of KBD's minutes tonight.
Get better KBD...Go Bucks
I thought CJ played a really solid game.
And Micàh is still shaky on defense, but he had a pretty solid game as well.
I wasn't sure CJ and Micah were ready to be contributers in the Big Ten. With Keita out, they have to be. If there was a positive tonight, it was the fact these two gave us hope they may have turned a corner.
I play, coach stays. He goes, I go.
Yeah, I thought Wesson played some good D tonight as well. I am wondering if maybe we see some Funderburk at all?
Still think it is a long shot. Maybe if Bucks suffer another major injury.
Just don't see Matta burning a kid's redshirt when almost half the season is over. Especially since he was the one that likely sold Derek and his family that a redshirt was in his best interest.
Damn, the hoops hits keep on coming.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery, KBD.
Hindsight is, and in, 2020
Did you get my PM?
Yes sir...just replied, appreciate the heads up.
Disappointed to hear that. Get well soon KBD
Ouch. Two really hurtful losses for the basketbucks tonight.

Man o man. Just damn.
Get well soon, KBD
Man….. this football team.-Jeff Okudah
That's a shame for KBD. Hope he makes a full recovery for next year.
But this damn GIF gets me every time lmao
Class of 2010.
And the hits just keep coming!!!!

Injuries have hit this team at the wrong time the last two seasons. Which hasn't happened for Matta more than once while he was here.
Will definitely miss him on the defensive side.
I think Kam off the bench with a two pg set is the way to go.
In my mind I have never left Mug Night...
2 positives--- Tyquan Lewis coming back and IU is 0-3 in B1G.
Possibly Lattimore coming back as well..
Based on his Twitter it seems like he might... but he will probably follow the money and a high draft grade :/
According to his Instagram earlier...he said he was coming back to get his degree and play next year
Can't tell you how huge that would be for us #fingerscrossed
OSU didn't execute and lost to horrible officiating. BOTH things can be true
Damn. Come back stronger and better, young man!
Matta on hot seat? Been a while since hoops have been any good.
Please find a Fire Thad Matta thread to comment on. It should not be hard to find.
This article is about a player who is seriously hurt and will miss the season.
Ugh we can't catch a break lately
Tough month since December 31, 2016. When I read the title I thought he was going to be retiring -- thankfully it is just this season. Get well soon KBD
Wish Bates-Diop a speedy recovery.
Damn. He's got the potential to be the best player on the team. An already thin team could not afford this loss
Can someone explain the Funderburk situation? What I saw of his high school tape I not only expected that he would play, but that he'd do quite well as a scorer. What's going on with him. Is there an interview I missed where his situation is explained?
evidently, hes redshirting, but I have asked the same question numerous times on different threads pertaining to basketball and never have recieved a reply or link to any article
Did he declare for the NFL draft too?
Heal, up Keita. Has to be super disappointing for him. He was a late scratch tonight, too - so I was crushed to hear this news.
Such a bummer, but its encouraging that the Bucks almost snatched this win without him. They will have to scratch and claw for wins the rest of the year, but as others have pointed out, Jackson, Potter and Wesson all have increased opportunities now.

That's rough. I hate injuries.
2017 not starting off much better than 2017 ended (less the staff changes in football)
Buckeye til I die
The surgery part is no-bueno. Believe that means it's a high risk stress fracture. Lots of NBA'ers had careers cut short because of the high risk type of fracture...
Wish KBD a speedy recovery...
Very bad news. Hope he comes back strong next year

Praying for Keita.
God speed young man. Heal up.
Pray for potatoes with a hoe in your hand.
Wishing Keita a full recovery. Tough blow to him and the team. He's a smart kid, so positive is this gets him another year to work on his masters while still playing for the Buckeyes.
God speed on a speedy recovery Keita!
15-1 is SWEET!
Well that sucks, but the important thing is for K-BD to completely heal.

Hate to hear this, but hopefully he can still take a medical redshirt. I think we are very close to the point in the season where the "imaginary line" is, and considering he missed a ton of games already due to injury I hope he can get the year back.
