34-31 good guys
I can see a wide range of outcomes. The offensive line could get manhandled and the receivers fail to get open, or the running game could be dominant. You could convince me either way. In the end, these seem like two similarly talented teams that are destined to play a nail-biter.
I upvote this every. single. time

That's very #nice of you
OSU 34 - Clem's son 27. A pick six, and Noah has himself a game.
36-24-36? Ha ha, only if she's 5'3"
I’m not sure what time it is, but Xichigan still sucks
I think (hope) we are going to shock the world and win easily. Not 2014 big vs Wisconsin in the B1G title Game, but by a very comfortable margin. 37-14 Ohio State and the game is never in doubt.
I feel you are close on our score, but I think Clemson has too much talent to not manage either 3 TDs or 2 TDs and a couple field goals. (I believe our defense in the red zone is just mean, so I see a lot of skilled teams struggling there, though Clemson is less likely to be as effected IMO, but still, that DLine is way better than expected this year.)
Ohio State 34 Clemson 28.
42-35 buckeyes since they like to score 42 points in big games

Hey man good to see you back on board. How are the in-laws?
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.

Glad to be back Linga, was a busy weekend. Was around yesterday but didn't jump in. In-laws are here through the new year but the rest of the pack has pretty much cleared out. How have you been?
I'm actually doing good - just finding my groove in life after Sunday's adventure. Getting nervous and excited for NYE. Hopefully no one will trash the Premium Lounge if things don't go our way on Saturday.
Never been there, but according to rumors I thought that place was like the Augean Stables, and all new members had to make like Hercules and reroute the Olentangy to clean it out to prove their worthiness to join.
One of these days I'll have to shell out pants money and find out.

It's amazing but just remember you're not given the keys or secret handshake until your latrine duty is approved. Trust me - you won't want that on your worst enemy if we don't win. Especially after all the chili

Chili passes all health standards. It's the people, not the chili, that deserves the post-chili blame.
New Day for OSU. Same noon for TTUN.
You may have a point - hygiene of any kind should be a high priority.
I don't even know about that, for sure. I mean, sure...wash yourself. But, more importantly, I blame people who aren't in dietary shape. You can't just show up to a 12W table and eat and drink. Gotta practice for that.
Chili is fine, chili is fine.
Depends on who is sitting next to you at the table. If it were this guy you might just leave.
He looks like he has chili training.
45-35 for the good guys. Weber runs wild.
Man….. this football team.-Jeff Okudah
30-27 in 2OT and the coach of the other team goes even further off the deep end than he already is.
Oh, wait, I had my crystal ball in reverse. That one already happened.
I was thinking 42-13 Buckeyes.
Nothing cleanses the soul like a no call pass interference.
31-30 Buckeyes in OT. Clemson goes for 2 and the win but pass is broken up.

100-0 because, damnit I've asked for this all year.
I hate the offseason.
42-28 Buckeyes. Deshaun has 4 TD passes - two to Clemson, two to the Buckeyes.
I agree with this
I think it's going to be a 10 point game in the 4th, regardless of which way it flows.
I'll call it 38-24 Good Guys

Something tells me there will be some goofy scoring. As long as we win it doesn't matter.
"You don't have to like me, just respect me." - Woody Hayes
I can see this going either way. Clemson can score...and if OSU can't match them...it could be a long night. I do think it is a strength on strength match up (Clemson O vs OSU D) and a weakness on weakness match up (Clemson D vs OSU O)...
Urban with a month is pretty tough to beat though...
I will say Ohio State 31 Clemson 27...not real confident in my pick and really concerned about this one
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
You Got Barbecue Back There!?!?!?!
40-35, good guys, and I'm being nice.

35-24 Buckeyes. I want it to be more of a blowout, but we will see.
"Khajiit has wares if you have the coin."
I'll go 35-17Buckeyes.
40-27 good guys. Weber better run wild or we have no hope. So I say weber goes for 142.
Treasure Coast Buckeye
Hard game to predict. OSU has the better defense but their passing game is poor and pass protection bad as well.
Clemson has a huge edge at WR/TE. And the much better QB. Usually the team with the better QB wins..
Not confident in Durbin either after his fiasco under pressure against Michigan.
And OSU fans rag on Dabo but he is a decent coach and really close friends with Meyer which means he isn't clueless.
Clemson 30 OSU 24. Hope to be wrong.
I am concerned with two areas:
Arnette covering Renfro and any other slot receiver and Webb covering Leggett
I think those two guys struggle in pass coverage. Would much rather see Ward over the slot than Arnette
I think they've moved Lattimore to the slot and put Ward on the outside (where he can use his speed) but your point stands.
Arnette covering Renfro and any other slot receiver
Barring injury to a starter, I don't think Arnette will play much at all. Going back and watching Oklahoma (who ran a 3-4 WR-happy offense like Clemson), OSU rarely put their nickelback on the field, generally they used Worley and Baker to help out there. The same has been the case the last few weeks, with either Conley or Ward playing NB when one's absolutely needed.
Clemson is just loaded at WR/TE.
Williams, Cain, Leggett, Renfroe, Scott, McCloud.
5 players all better than anyone OSU has except Samuel who is a RB really.
Webb on Leggette is a mismatch. They have yo get to Watson with the pass rush or he will pick on OSU's weak guys.
Man...maybe OSU shouldn't bother showing up
their plane was sick -- they could go back on it and chill
Watson throws 3 pics, 1 returned for a pic 6 & 1 in the red zone to kill a Clemson drive!
33-27 Buckeyes as Clemson runs out of time in their red zone to end game!
No the 2nd one is by Webb and seals a 1 score game!!!!
MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS
I had mine set earlier at 38-27 buckeyes, and I'm sticking with that.
"I kind of pulled back, and I think I pulled something." Orlando Pace
I see this like the 2014 OSU-MSU game where OSU is behind early but both teams are trading touchdowns. Eventually JT hits one more pass than Watson or our tempo gets Clemson's defensive line tired and the run game takes over in the fourth. 45-35 OSU.
28 - 24 Buckeyes.
Ohio State 34, Clemson 24. OSU with a Pick-Six as Clemson is driving in the last two minutes.
Watson is cocky, overrated trash. He'll throw three picks and at least one touchdown to Malik Hooker. Tired of hearing about this bum. Poor man's RG3 without the deep ball accuracy.
Cant wait until he gets drafted third or fourth round and we never have to hear about him again.
Tired of hearing how much better he is than JT Barrett and everyone else on Ohio State.
Can't for the excuses when he loses, like he has his entire career.
Jesus dude calm down. What has he done to you? He's a college football player and he's never done anything bad before. He is obviously a great player and if you can't see that your college football knowledge is very limited. Regardless, the disrespect towards a college kid in your comment was completely unwarranted.
Can't for the excuses when he loses, like he has his entire career.
Yeah, that 30-3 career record as a starter is just awful.
I agree with your point but I didn't say it that was silverbullet
Yeahhhhh, I was aware, I just replied to you because i had agreed with your take on his post and was kinda adding on. Like two seconds after I thought "guess I probably shoulda just quoted the actual guy" but too late.
It's all good just wanted to make sure you knew that I wasn't saying those ridiculous things.
The one outcome I don't see (knock on wood) is a Clemson blowout.
I think either this is a good old fashioned slobberknocker of a game decided by a touchdown or less, or Ohio State runs away with a big win, let's say 42-27 with the last Clemson TD coming in garbage time.
"porque las estirpes condenadas a cien años de soledad no tenían una segunda oportunidad sobre la tierra."
Hate the matchup for our Buckeyes personally, but I'll say we pull it out somehow. 28-27.
This is a game of defense, regardless of what offensive numbers have been put up this season....

41-27. Buckeyes are gonna open some eyes on Sunday night.
I'm hoping they do it on Saturday night.
Beat me to it brother - Sat night should be fun
Let's hope Sunday morning's aftermath is just as fun.
from AhhSaturday, that was a classic whiff
42-31 Clemson only because it's bad juju having everyone pick the good guys and if I type it, it can't come true. I will gladly jump on this grenade for you all and accept my DVs.
There is one above but having a few of these is not a bad thing either. It's worked out pretty well so far this season.
Band of Brother here
45-17 the good guys win! Go Buckeyes
Lead, follow, or get out of my way!
31-28 OSU. Watson throws two picks, which will help spark our offense. JT gets it going in the pass game in the first half, but we revert to our conservative approach in the 4th quarter and count on the defense to pull off the win.
Harbaugh is Michigan, Michigan is Harbaugh. They are together the ultimate con.
Considering tOSU has given up the 3rd most sacks in the country since the PSU game I suspect that it catches up with them this game. Clemson 31 - tOSU 20. Hope I am wrong but I just do not trust the offensive line at all right now.
Then the Buckeyes will have to get out on the edges against them and get some ISO's on their linebackers. Works for me....
One pick 6, 2 interceptions, and the O-line shows up big.
And I drink a lot of beer.
Such a terrifying game never know which ohio state team will show up but gotta bet on Meyer. Probably going to be an extremely ugly game on both sides. Im thinking we come out fast and score but our offense hits a wall with several bad drives that forces us to come back in the second half. Much like the TTUN game. Defensive score puts us ahead and we hold. 27-21 buckeyes. Please don't lose this game for us tim beck.
"CAR-DALE JONES" - Gus Johnson voice
It all depends on the Ohio State defense. If the defense cannot get to Watson and make it at least uncomfortable back there it will be a long day for the buckeyes.
Defense wins championships the offense will do just enough to put some points on the board but it will be a low-scoring affair 24 - 20 buckeyes. And at times it will be a very frustrating game to watch.
42-31 Buckeyes. It won't be as close as this score indicates. Clemson gets a late TD in garbage time to make it look respectable.
I have to take the home team on this. Hard to bet against Urban with so long to prep
No clue what to expect in this game. Nothing would surprise me, but Clemsons pretty good. I heard a lot of people saying they would get ran off the field last season by Bama and i didn't see it happening. Lots of talent on that team.
Hmmmm... just a shot in the dark... I'll say 31-28 Clemson. Just got a bad feeling the defense has sort of an off game and the offensive struggles continue with the passing game. I think OSU gets yards on the ground as usual. Hope I'm wrong.
I see this possibly going three different ways. Call me crazy but I see this going scenario #1 GO BUCKS!
tOSU V NEB SQUAD: 42-21 tOSU
tOSU V PEN ST SQUAD: 35-24 CLEM
tOSU V *ICH SQAUD: 31-27 tOSU
"You show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser'' -Vince Lombardi-
Option one is my favorite
I see both Offenses having big nights. This reminds me a lot of the matchup against Bama and Oklahoma. The Bama game was so high scoring because of how quickly they scored.
The Oklahoma team this year reminds me of Clemson with a much lesser QB, WR's and Defense. Oklahoma had much better running backs.
Overall, Watson will get his ( 4 total TD's) but I think we can put up points on offense and get a few turnovers.
If the Buckeyes can get this game to the 2nd half and keep it tight I like our chances. My heart tells me buckeyes win but I see a lot of the 2015 Buckeyes in Clemson and that is kind of scary
I Hate Michigan.
Lets break this down. Urban Meyer and more than a month to prepare. I like the Buckeyes here in Glendale. OSU 38 Clemson 17
This Corona ain't no bologna! Do your part to flatten the curve, the life you save may be one of your fellow Buckeyes!
35-31 Buckeyes. We give up points early and come back strong and give up a score late.
Our people are everywhere, Esto Dignus.
Still working the score out in my head, but Clemson is in for a big surprise thinking OSU is like Pitt. I predict a physical beatdown, it could get out of control quickly, or Meyer could go easy on him. Barrett and the Buckeyes will run the ball at will after the short passing game opens it up. Barrett will hit a couple long passes in the dome to show Washington/Alabama winner that he can throw deep. This game is over in the 3rd quarter with OSU up 35-9. How it finishes is up to Meyer and how much mercy he shows his "buddy".
"When you're part of a team, you stand up for your teammates. Your loyalty is to them. You protect them through good and bad, because they'd do the same for you." Yogi Berra
If Clemson can run us, it'll open up their air attack and they'll be able to put up a lot of points. We're not built to come from far behind, so that would not bode well for us. HOWEVER, our front 7 will over-perform and shut down Clemson's rush. Forcing Watson to misfire much of the evening. The secondary will snag a couple of his passes. Our O-line will be overworked but will do just enough to help us sqeak out a close one: 24-21
I said 31-27 Buckeyes a few days ago and I'm sticking with it. I could see a larger margin of victory but I'll hold with my original instinct.
I don't think I have seen a Meyer team get blown out in a big game. I don't think Clemson with be the one to do it honestly.
I think this will be like our CFP games in 2014: up and down.
So, Clemson leads 7-0. We tie it up, we go ahead 14-7, they tie it up... late in the first half we knock one or two of their good players out of the game. We go up 44-20 in the second half, they score some garbage and we kick a field goal to keep them away, and we win 47-35.
Both teams get some big plays and give up big plays. An entertaining game, and the Buckeyes are in a good mind set to play (probably) the Tide.
Much like our offensive line is expected to struggle with their fine defensive line, I think their offensive line may struggle even more with our D-line. For some reason, people don't seem to be talking about that match-up quite as much - but I believe it will be a major key to this game.
Watson is prone to put the ball up for grabs even when he's not pressured that much. Of course, he's even more likely to do so when he is pressured. Clemson's running game is not particularly strong - so I expect to see our "Rushmen" package on the field more than usual. Pressuring Watson - but maintaining gap integrity while doing so will be critical.
The Tigers have not faced a defense nearly as talented as ours this season. However, we just played against a great defense in our last game. We should be better prepared.
Ohio State - 35 Clemson - 23
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement. - Will Rogers
Leggett is my biggest concern
I think we dominate and Alabama struggles or even loses. Basically the opposite of what everyone is expecting.
Buckeyes 38, Tigers 27
17 points seems to be State's new offensive production cap for regulation. I fear the trend continues: Buckeyes 17 Clemson 42. I will show myself out .
