The world is yours
After the pass offense today, I highly doubt they helped their case
Totally agree...It was somewhat embarrassing.
Saban on a cart eating cold pizza
I would expect nothing less from the games best recruiter. Go get em closer!
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
Nice - team effort.
Enjoy the day, all.
I had to run away high, so I wouldn't come home low...
Having Drake talk to him is crucial! Kid wants to be a surgeon and he's talking to the best!
Mike Thomas in town this weekend as well. #DevelopedHere

Might be a Michigan lock, or close to it, but weekends like this will make them work on him until the end.
You're too stupid to have a good time. -Dalton
Exactly. And the extra work they may have to put in on DPJ may cost them somewhere else like another out of state Wr. Its all in the game.
Wordness to the turdness
TTUN fans consider this kid wrapped up. I would love to get him, just because of the gut punch it would be to them. And because he's really really good.
Even if he chooses to go there, won't be too big a loss and he'll learn what going 0-4 feels like. He's just icing on the cake for us, we have a better pair already with Grimes and Lindsey and I'll raise you an awesome pair of freshman from 2016 in Mack and Victor.
Too bad we ain't putting on a show for him while he's here..why do we continue to struggle against Indiana?
I know...but tell me I'm wrong?
You're not wrong. But IMO you're asking in the wrong topic. There is an in game open thread
Love this kid - he's a playmaker that does not hold back.
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
Running the ball this much can't be helping our chances of landing him.
Agreed...our passing game today is embarrassing.

yet my embarrassment is irrelevant, and just another nano-sized flawed facet in the diamond of human disappointment.
However, there is a certain range of responses in individuals we want to influence... that have multiple, continuing, ripple effects.
And we might do well to consider how a 'sincere influencer' who smiles nicely but does not share our priorities... might use a first-hand 'experience' in various ways.
My thought exactly. Being unable to complete more than a couple of passes probably doesn't interest a WR all that much. Thanks for stopping by, kid. Maybe we'll see you somewhere down the line. Hope you had fun.
JT probably won't be there if he commits, so it's more about evaluating Burrows and Haskins I would think, not today's performance.

Not sure why you picked up a DV, but have an UV to counter.
Curious, tho...Why wouldn't JT be there next year? Where's he going? Not to the NFL, I wouldn't think.
Would LOVE to get him but it ain't gonna happen. And if given the choice, give me Grimes + Lindsey instead. And I'm 100% legitimately not trying to be a homer when I say that, I mean it.
Why do we have all those receivers on scholarship and continue to recruit so many???????????)))???????????
Don't we need other positions that we can actually use besides just lining them up?...
Good thing we showcased the WR's today to really show him how he could be featured.
Indeed. Truly showcased the passing game today.
DPJ ain't coming here. Why would he? On the promise that the ball will be thrown. I'd suggest watching what OSU does passing, not what they say.
Isn't that what #shhhhh means?
Hope he had a good time. Our pass game was not on today, so it was not much to see. I hope you have an ok career up North...except against us. GoBucks!
I'm sorry but I think it's time to seriously consider our QB coach/QB development. I brought this up on another thread but our QB play in the pass game has regressed since Beck was hired. Seems like JT in 2014 was progressing nicely. Cardale threw the ball downfield well on the 3 game championship run. Last year our passing by both guys was not good at all. We want to blame it on Devon Smith being gone last year. This year it's our young inexperienced WR's. Burrow almost decommited because Beck was hired. Taylor Martinez got worse each year under Beck. Talk was that he was not doing much in the development of Tommy Armstrong. Heck Fickel and our defense needed help and Urban went and got that and changed it! Beck and our QB development needs help - Urban go get some help. Maybe there is not another Tom Herman out there but find some help in developing our QB's..,.
Man jt has one baD game and the fire beck stuff comes back in a flash. You didn't seem to have a problem when we were playing bg or ou, not to mention the countless top notch recruits the guy has landed since he got here!!! My advice, just calm down please and remember there are still a ton of freshmen and sophomores still getting to their full potential at the skill positions!!!
Was DPJ's father with him on his OV? Not that we really had a chance here anyway...
Fields of Dreams
Looked like in the one pick w Drake his Mom was with him so maybe the Dad was the one taking the pic?
I think DPJ is a great player and comes from thew best school in Michigan. If we signed him that would be great for the class. However I like 6'5'' Jaylen Harris a little more. Bigger target, a little more rangy and expectations not as big with a label like #1 WR in nation. That's some big hype to live up to. Previous #1 Ranked WR: Demetris Robertson (2016), Calvin Ridley (2015), Speedy Noil (2014), Laquon Treadwell (2013), Dorial Green-Beckham (2012), George Farmer (2011), Kyle Prater (2010). The strike through's are players I think that have not panned out. I believe a lot of that has to do with that expectation label. Plus DPJ highlights aren't that great either IMO.
