Woah. If we get the top 3 performers at the opening that would be insane. All of your freak athletes are belong to us

"Attack the Strong, Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead!"
-Former OSU S&C Coach Lichter
I like this so much I don't even know what to say! It sure would be good if JK is able to work some crootin' influence on Okudah and Akers.
The only thing that's new in the world is the history that we have forgotten.
Would a JK want Akers to commit. Having another 5* RB (yes, I am assuming JK gets the bump into 5* land!) to take some carries away may not be intriguing to a lot of guys
I'm a Buckeye born, I'm a Buckeye bred, and when I die I will be a Buckeye dead.
Yep. Thunder and lightning.

This is a new day. RB's know that the NFL counts carries, and staying fresh and playing on a great team gets you to the league. More so, recruits know that the league likes the way OSU coaches them up.
Well put Theo. Especially coaching them to be "blocking" backs that can catch passes out of the backfield. NFL LOVES that!
I think there's more than enough room in Urban's system for a RB and an HB to both have very good years. Honestly, if we had 1st round NFL talent at RB and HB I don't think one would take touches away from the other as much as they both would be getting their extra touches at the expense of WRs and TEs.
JK said he is recruiting Jeffrey and cam so it looks like he isn't worried about splitting carries
Having Zeke there - beyond all our current commits - is just an awesome recruitment bonus.
"I don't think you necessarily have to get a trophy to be a winner." - Nick Saban 1/2/15.
Raekwon McMillan and Billy Price are there too. The more Buckeyes, the merrier.
My thoughts exactly. Clean sweep for the Bucks!
For those who have never thrown a powerball or competed in one of these combines or seen one.. 42 feet is an ABSURD distance for our runningback to be throwing that thing.
What a monster honestly with a 4.5 40 kid deserves all the hype in the world. His highlight tape is sick too
Harbaugh sits whilst he urinates
After having surgeries on both shoulders, I would be happy to throw a ping pong ball 42'.
When you lose, say little. When you win, say less.

OSU Class of 1999
Top 3 performers likely to be Buckeyes....getting handed trophies by Zeke....shaping up to be a great week for Buckeye recruiting.
They hate us cuz they aint us!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Congrats young man for a great showing. BuckeyeNation is behind you 100%. Go Bucks
Add one more 5 star to our class! Have to keep this kid. He is just sick.
Nicholas l Ernst
I think he's a 4-star, so obviously OSU's recruiting class is lacking
One of three things happened, Hawk: Someone is sarcasm-impaired; someone doesn't know that italics mean sarcasm on this site; or someone has a fat finger on the mobile device (pro tip - you can change a DV to a UV). Otherwise, I don't have a clue why you got a DV for that comment.
Here's a UV to counter.
I know why, he said OSU's recruiting is lacking...

UV, we've got ya covered.

Bo Schembechler: Student of Woody;
Gary Moeller: Player for Woody;
Lloyd Carr & Rich Rodriguez: Owned by Tressel;
Brady Hoke: Owned by donuts;
Jim Harbaugh: Owned by Urban to the tune of 42-13.
Nice BK! Might as well run with it !
How many points will Dobbins and the Buckeyes score on TTUN in 2017?
I love watching his highlights. He is built just like Zeke and has the speed too. Dobbins and Akers could be a two headed monster behind that offensive line we're putting together. Kind of like when Bama had Yeldon/Henry/Drake and they just wore teams down with that run game.
Those are some sick stats.
Meanwhile in Ann Arbor, Harbaugh stares at the results then starts yelling at his hand puppet.

These are great days we are living in my friends. It's damn good to be a Buckeye.
In JK we trust
The next Harry Potter book should be "Urban Meyer and the Crystal Football Fleshlight Trophy," authored by JK Dobbins.
“Megadeth >>> Metallica” - Alum 2019. I couldn’t agree more.
Just posting and hoping my comment isn’t deleted.

I would have to think Dobbins might get a bump to 5 star eventually.
What could possibly go wrong with this set up at The Opening? Top 3 scores all Buckeyes!!!!! We are in for a wild ride when these guys hit the "Shoe".
"The most important statistic, is the number of wins in a season".........Woody Hayes
This is a fantastic accomplishment for JK Dobbins. My favorite recruit is impressive in so many ways. Running behing the best OL in the 2017 class (at least) is going to be an exercise in domination lime none other!
"The minute we stop expecting greatness, we become Wisconsin."
I was thinking that Dobbins could win it, depending on how the scores are tallied. He is small but fast and strong. If he happens to grow another two inches he could grow into a Zeke type back that is a great balance of speed and strength. If he stays the same height he will have a great low center of gravity but may have a harder time getting up into the 215-225 range without compromising speed. Either way he is a going to be a good one.
Paging Mike Mitchell...
I'm surprised it took this long for someone to bring him up!
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.
JK deserves better.
Ohio State > *ichigan
Urban > Hairbaugh
I don't mean to be the party pooper here, but does anyone remember the last sparq winner we signed from Texas? I just hope it works out better for this one... Carry on!
Badgers? We don't need no stinking badgers!- UHF
You bring up a point I was curious about: did they just rename sparq or is this some substitute because sparq is used by rivals now or something?
It seems like everything we are hearing about the 2017 class just gets all of us more excited.
Well that sums it up our class is just plain sick. Jk should be getting his 5th star soon. On a side note he will drop 72 spots via espn rankings since he was participating against no one and is choosing to play football in a "weak power 5 confrence"
There's nothing that cleanses your soul like getting the hell kicked out of you --Woody Hayes
Can Meyer pick 'em or what?
"I think Alabama would beat Ohio State if they played next weekend!" Clay Travis Fox Sports Post Championship Show 1.12.2015. Needs no explanation.
I had to run away high, so I wouldn't come home low...
Anybody here notice that "Ohio" Tate Martell hasn't listed JK Dobbins on his big recruiting board of dream commitments?
I hope he corrects that oversight soon, because IMHO Dobbins is the most impressive runner I've seen in tape (field vision, finding holes, open field moves/cuts, quickness, speed/burst, strength), and Akers is right there with him (looking like the next Ezekiel Elliot). The sole concern with JK is his size--actually, it's just his height that's a concern or he very well might be the #1 recruit overall--but he obviously has all the physical tools that he needs to be a huge success.
Besides, Urban won't have any problem finding creative ways to give Dobbins and Akers Heisman-level touches. After all, shared duties hasn't kept Heisman candidacies or trophies from Alabama's running backs, not to mention the fact that everyone on your offense gets more touches when you're blowing out the competition. Plus, Dobbins clearly has the ability to slide into an H-back role at times, which shouldn't bother him at all, since it will prepare him for his likely role in the NFL.
In any case, Alabama obviously knows what Dobbins brings to the table, and so if the Buckeyes don't secure Dobbins and Akers as their future one-two punch, you can bet that Nick Saban will be only to happy to deploy Dobbins and Harris as his one-two punch. Bottom: Mr. Ohio Tate needs to show some love to his future brother-in-arms.
His big board was for prospects that haven't committed yet. Dobbins has already committed to OSU.
True--and good point--his first focus has been recruiting guys who aren't on board, as it should be. Still, I might be mis-remembering it, but maybe I was thinking about a tweet or two that he sent out envisioning an all-star lineup, including signed guys (Meyer, Moratti, etc.) and unsigned (Akers, Peoples-Jones, etc.) but no Dobbins.
Mind you, I'm sure he doesn't mean to slight anybody--he seems like a good, gung-ho kid.. I'm sure he was being a good soldier and mostly focused on recruiting uncommitted guys. Besides, it's not as if players make the final decisions anyway. The great thing about this program is that Urban and company let competition settle the matter, and they recruit players who love and embracer competition, so in the end, who knows--it might be Danny Clark and Dobbins who are playing in the proverbial dream backfield.
Zeeeeeeeekee! Good to see him! Still excited to think about what he will accomplish this year. He is the Bonafide August Rookie of the Year!
Dobbins looks like a beast in the making. Total package like our Zeke. Can't wait to see him in S&G on Saturdays!!
I'm just hoping these guys know that fewer carries means longer pro career. I have to believe that's why they all don't mind splitting the pie.
Wait wait wait... you said he runs a 4.45 40 time BEFORE Mariotti gets his hands on him?
