Loved the Announcer when he said "And Now the Most Dominant Player"
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
Seattle Sounders 2019 MLS Champions
That camera guy was really working for the perfect shot lol
He throws a baseball better than most quarterbacks I have seen.
I can think of one shoelace untied, arm punter in particular...
Maybe he'll win a September Heisman...
...and pick it up for reals in December.
Hindsight is, and in, 2020
The will to win is not as important as the will to prepare to win. -- Woody Hayes
Oops, someone already posted this ... sorry about that. This was as bad a pitch as EZE's was good.
Joe Bauserman, on the other hand, would have thrown it into the stands.
You mean the same Joe Bauserman that was drafted in the 4th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates, spent 3 years in the minor leagues, and has a career winning record in the minors (14-12 with a 3.42 ERA)? The one with almost a 2-1 K-BB ratio?
He wasn't the most accurate with a football--but let's not get too sarcastic about a guy who was, after all, a Buckeye. I mean, go ahead and rip on Denard, 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, John Wall, or Carly Rae Jepsen for their first pitches. (All probably researchable on YouTube.)
Lay off the Buckeye...
The Bauserman jokes do get old, plus excellent point about his actual pitching prowess.
You are right Tundra, of course.
But I have this image of Joe completing a pass to a girl wearing an ear of corn on her head in Lincoln a few years back, and I can't help but chuckle every time I think of it. That game prompted the famous pass chart that still pops up every now and then. That is a deep well, and people will go there occasionally. But ideally, we wouldn't.
Joe Bauserman, on the other hand, would have thrown it into the stands.
In left field...
He was a really good baseball player. He could also throw a football, just not so well under pressure.
Pay it forward
Cool to see
Hmmmmm...looks like maybe that ring on his throwing hand can doctor that baseball pretty well!
Priority #1: Beat Michigan
Come on Eliott family make more sons!
Looks like he tried to run a lil 2-seamer in on the right handed hitter's hands. Nasty.
Love the Zeke love the Cards. Well done!!
Way better than Denard's first pitch.
You didn't know our RB (let alone 3rd string QB) has a better arm than scUM's starting QB?
Denard played baseball in high school. No excuses.
I could practically guarantee Marshall (H-Back) and Lee (LB) could also school tsun's QBs.
"Football is, after all, a wonderful way to get rid of your aggressions without going to jail for it." Woody Hayes
Well done, Zeke that could have gone much worse. Now please don't give me any other reasons to pay any attention to the Cardinals.
Besides the fact that we're 19-6?
It's still early?
Sorry, my handle forced me to DV. No hard feelings.

Get busy living.
Love the Zeke. Hate the cards.
"The future is bright at Ohio State." - Urban Meyer 1/1/15
This proves what we already knew: Zeke is a better athlete than 50 Cent.
I don't DV. Most people don't deserve it, and the ones who do probably enjoy it.
But can Zeke take a bullet?
Buckeye in the desert of Washington state.
Everyone knows that Zeke is bullet proof.
he takes on 11 of 'em every day in practice.
It also looked like a slow change up that was a strike. Well done EZE....
Saban on a cart eating cold pizza
Nice ring. When do they summon Captain Planet?
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Get well soon Mrs.Naut 6-0 > 3-6.
Branding. Hell yea
Zeke made us proud... yet again.
Still one of the best videos ever (Sorry PETA)
I remember that! That was crazy!
When you lose, say little. When you win, say less.
I can think of worse ways to go. Bird probably didn't feel a thing.
Wonder what the speed of that pitch was.
Randy Johnson would regularly throw in the mid to upper 90's occasionally getting over 100.
See you in Indy! B1G!
Johnson has knocked the feathers off quite a few batters too.
Brunstar, I have never openly laughed out loud at a gif before, great job. Who were the four people on the top gif? That was pathetic Easily my favorite gif ever.
The Kardashians. I'm still trying to figure out why they got to throw a first pitch, and also, why they are famous.
That pitch was weak! Barely got over the plate, glad he's a RB
No, no heat, but it was right over the plate, catcher didn't have to move, steeee-rike! Much better than nearly all ceremonial pitches you'll see. Way to go EZ!
Eze E - what an incredible ambassador this kid is for the university and the football program! Just a wonderful human being raised by great parents! Sadly you never hear about Urban recruiting these types of kids... only dirt bags like Hernandez... oh well, those who matter know!!!
The best thing about Pastafarianism? It is not only acceptable, but advisable, to be heavily sauced
Zeke's got great taste in baseball teams!
I don't even like baseball and know that has to be a dream come true.
So proud of the Running Back Zeke - Bringing it first class.
Surprised the weight of the metal on his right hand didn't pull his arm out of the socket......
The pain of discipline or the pain of regret, take your pick
I am just happy he didn't pull a BaBa Booey.
Michigan and Ohio once fought over Toledo. Ohio Lost
Too bad there is no ring for beating Indiana, then he could show Mizzou fans that it can, in fact, be done.
Lol why do they make those rings so huge? Shit looks ridiculous.
so when you get punched in the head for saying something silly like this, you remember what hit you :)
"I spent 90 percent of my money on women and drink. The rest I wasted." - George Best
I hate that jersey!
Didn't anyone tell him that he has to be a Reds fan now? Someone (else) go and do that for me.
Zeke for Cy Young!
Wait ... no crop top?
"We get paid to score touchdowns, not kick field goals"
-- Urban Meyer
I fucking hate this.
I mean, I'm happy for Zeke. This is a big deal.
But god, do I hate the Cardinals. And people can never understand why I hate them. Everyone just assumes I hate them for their success, but that really isn't the case. I have no problems with Duke, the Patriots, the Spurs or SF Giants. All really successful institutions of sports. I just hate the Cardinals because of how they act.
They masquerade as if they are some wholesome little Mom-And-Pop shop with great Midwest values ranging from their front office to their players to the fans. But they aren't. They are this thinly veiled, self-righteous cult of obnoxious assholes living in some bubble under the impression that the rest of the baseball community idealizes how they operate. They're nothing but a bunch of tools who try to act like baseball's "good ole boys" when they're really nothing more than an organization who feels morally superior to everyone else. Seriously, have you ever watched a Cardinals broadcast? It's miserable. Just a three hour exercise of self-gratification. All parties involved drowning in their own pool of sanctimonious BS. For example, I was watching the other week and Jason Heyward made a really nice play to gun a runner out at 2nd. It was a fine baseball play and it was during a slightly high leverage situation, but nothing beyond that. Suddenly the Cardinals announcers go on a five minute diatribe talking about how the Cardinals fans were really letting Heyward know how much they appreciate that play and how that shows how "savvy" and "knowledgable" their fans were. As if fans from the Pirates or Reds or Giants or Braves or whoever wouldn't appreciate such a play.
So rant over. Fuck the Cardinals. Don't you dare taint my Zeke with your Cardinals Devil Magic.
I'm with you on this. Love Zeke. Hate the St. Louis Cardinals with a white hot passion. Never has a fan base been so eager and so willing to tell you how great they are as fans.
"HAVE YOU SEEN US? WE GIVE STANDING OVATIONS TO OPPOSING PITCHERS WHO SHUT US DOWN!"
Nobody cares, Cardinal fans. Oh, and just a friendly piece of advice: Doing perceived "classy" things and then going around bragging about it sort of negates it being "classy".
First of all, Zeke is a Cardinals fan. One of those apparently self-righteous obnoxious asshole fans you are referring to. I get it, you hate the Cardinals. But he's from Missouri, it's his hometown team.... cant you just be happy for him without projecting your own issues on the situation?
What an awesome experience for him. Love seeing him in that Cardinals jersey. Go Zeke, and Go Cards!
Oh my goodness. You have no idea how much this post means to me. They are an absolutely insufferable lot. I don't even want to expand on what you said because I can't do it justice.
Thank you. Just....I can't even.
Proudly dispensing unbridled arrogance since 1983.
First he strikes from 85, then he strikes from 60.5!
For anyone saying it was a weak pitch, we all know Zeke gets stronger as the game wears on! :)
DBU? LBU? You can keep those. The Ohio State University is 9unitsU.
