The last line is all that matters. Just keep winning.
Man….. this football team.-Jeff Okudah
They know what _istakes were _ade today. Watch fil_, work hard, and focus on the next opponent.
I'_ not la_enting over how they played today...I know they can play better, sure they know it too.
Hindsight is, and in, 2020

Hov, whoever DV'd your original post here should immediately be thrown in jail for the duration of *ichigan week. Can't believe there are those among the ranks here who would even consider such an action.
"This is a very complicated case: a lot of ins, lot of outs, lot of what-have-yous."
It's all good...at least they didn't pee on _y rug (although I'_ glad I have hardwood floors).
I know. That rug really tied the room together.
With FSU heading for a potential upset by BC hopefully the Bucks did enough in this game for the committee to move into the top 4. Just keep putting check marks in the win column.
Head north till you smell it, west until you step in it
Seemed like a long scare to me. Will be more focused next Saturday. Send Brady out Buckeye style.
Whoa, slow down now. No need to ship Hoke off so soon.
A dreadful game. Let's hope they got all of those mistakes out of their system, because they will lose next week if it continues.
Textbook example of the synergy that must exist between fans and players in order to win a crucial home game.
I am not very smart, but I recognize that I'm not very smart. --- W.W. Hayes
Where are those idiots who were talking shit to Jalin now? Hell of a game from him
And that's why you don't bench him last week OR replace him this week. Imagine what this game would have like if Jalin was relegated to the bench for this game. He would have learned his lesson!
“We're conference division champions, won a bunch of games in a row. We have some work to do,” Meyer said. “Sometimes in college football, things don't go exactly as scripted.”
Being at the game from the start, the turning point was Cameron's punt at the one. The entire crowd was alive the rest of the game and it obviously tormented Indiana. Tiddy up the turnovers, fix the run defense, teach Herman to call an offense, and BEAT MICHIGAN!
I hate the offseason.
The run defense needs addressed. Indiana wasn't going to beat us in the air, and their back is/was second in the nation in yards. We should have been keying on him all game. If we play run defense like this against Wisconsin in the B1G Championship, we may be in trouble.
We MUST get this fixed for next week! Scum needs this game to be bowl eligible. BOTH teams have motivation to win, it's not just The Greatest Rivalry in All of Sport, it has some big-time meaning outside of the rivalry.
BEAT THE 'WEENIES!!!
What's round on the ends and high in the middle? Tell me if you know!
Uh, that's quite a list of fix-its you've got there.
I have a feeling we hurt ourselves today given the pathetic performance they had for 2 1/2 quarters against a fairly bad Indiana team. I doubt the committee gives us a break on this game because it was very obviously that most of the players ole'd it. In the end, Jalin was the man who stepped up and carried the team to the end for the win!
On an even brighter note - michigan still sucks ass and lost to the mighty turtles!!!
The best thing about Pastafarianism? It is not only acceptable, but advisable, to be heavily sauced
We ended up pull our heads out of our backsides and making plays. TCU barely got a slap on the wrist for their performance against Kansas. We will be just fine.
I hope you are right!
Don't forget - the fairly bad Indiana team went into Columbia and beat Missouri. That should be discussed by the committee in the next meeting.
ESPN is running pro OSU highlights and not mentioning the fact that we were down for a while.
Enjoying the Buckeyes from a warmer climate.
Now onto the other scare from today - the health status of Perry and others that left the game at various times. I used to breathe easy when someone left and then returned. But after Dontre's injury (and others), holding my breath a bit until I hear on Monday that we're looking solid and healthy heading into THE GAME.
"Woody would have wanted it that way"
I actually would prefer it if perry can't go next week....maybe try out something different and go with Lee, McMillan and then rotate grant or booker at the 3rd lb spot??? too many over run gaps and wrong reads from perry and the he is young thing doesn't apply he is a dang junior
Dude led the team in tackles plus had three tackles for loss including a sack. He played like a beast after he went back in after the injury! I thought he showed a lot of heart in how he played after getting shaken up.
Because I couldn't go for three. -- Woody Hayes
in 3 straight games he has had at least 8-10 bad gap fills that have directly led to a big gain or touchdown....so what if he leads in tackles he also probably leads in giving up the big play more
I'm not so sure we hurt ourselves as much as some people think .... Look at the fact that we still put up over 40 points after all of the possible miscues that we had. Defensively, take away 3 big plays (QB scramble and two long TD runs by their back) and we more or less shut them down (especially after Marshall's punt return).
More important were the results, today, of the last two teams we played. Minnesota beat a higher ranked team in Nebraska (away from home) and Michigan State wiped out Rutgers. The fact that we beat those two teams on their home fields gives us two huge bonus points which the committee has to consider. It may not be enough to move us up past an idle TCU team, but I don't see us losing ground to any of the teams behind us.
We still have our home game against the Puke & Blue (ah, how sweet it will be to send them home for the Holidays with no Bowl game in their Xmas stocking) and the BIG title game. Win them both and I firmly believe that we'll land in the mix with one of the top 4 spots.
Yes, without those 3 plays a different game. Also the refs did a poor job on a least couple plays. The horse collar tackle by Washington was a bogus call. They also missed a pass interference on the long ball to Cory Smith.
There is no such thing as "friendly fire"..
Think we don't move up but hope we don't drop a spot. The good news is that maybe both Wisc and MN both move up this week ahead of the game next week. Could be a 13-15 Wisc vs. a 21-23 MN for the West title. The winner of that game could pick up a few more spots so we might be facing a top 10 (or close) Wisc team or a top 15-20 Mn team. A win for the Bucks in the B1G Championship might be enough to vault us ahead of TCU and/or Baylor into the top 4. (MS ST. is not staying top 4 when all is said and done).
However, we need to play much better against um - or none of this is worth anything. Go Bucks.
Just keep winning! I thought aside fro* the two big runs fro* Cole*an I thought the defense played well especially given that they got put in bad positions due to the turnovers in the first half. Plus they were able to hold Indiana fro* scoring despite the "horse collar" tackle on what was an excellent play in the backfield by Adolphus,
Sorry, but I just don't know how the D played well when giving up over 200 to a RB when we knew that was ALL they had. Our run D is a huge concern, just as passing D was last year.
No matter what anyone says, it is difficult to win in the B1G. Just as Penn State. Just ask Michigan. Just ask Iowa. We did not play well but we played well enough to win and dominate the 4th quarter. Still a good win.
Anybody else get the idea that today's version of Jalin Marshall is what we were supposed to see from dontre and get a bit excited at the possibility of him being that homerun hitter "athlete" we've been looking for?
I am excited about Jalin being the home run hitter we saw today, in addition to Dontre being what we envisioned. A whole lotta speed is a nice asset to have.
Everybody LOVES Jalin today, don't they. I don't see any comments from those who wanted him benched for this game. That's why Urbz is our coach. Thanks Jalin! Heck of a game.
Don't really need to defend myself but I wasn't one to hate on jalin last week because I didn't even get to watch the game. Just got to be happy with the end result, I've been a fan of him all year and it's understood that young kids have bad games
If a bad first half were disqualifying, Florida State should have been out of it long ago.
Last week was an anomaly for Jalin Marshall - the rest of the season will be stellar
Bucks are due for a few games in a row without any turnovers. Let's hope it starts next week and goes from there. GO BUCKS!
“Being average means you are as close to the bottom as you are to the top.” John Wooden
Credit Cameron Johnston with the momentum change. His punt that ROLLED ITSELF DEAD at the one yardline got the crowd back in the game. That resulted in a defensive stand which in turn led to Marshall's punt return. Seriously though, I don't know how he can make a punt roll sideways like that. Dude is a frickin' magician! Johnston's got my vote for player of the game.
Real fans stay for Carmen.
This.^^^^^ Even 2500 miles away, the psychological shift that punt brought about was palpable, even on TV. So 3-4 thoughts:
1) Great to see supposedly left-for-dead Marshall jump out of the East River like Batman or Jason Bourne and take over everything.
2) Ohio State gets criticized despite playing better than FSU. No surprise there at this point.
3) I'm glad I got on the Fire Fickell 2014 bandwagon last week. 4 years of bad run defense? Really? Fingers crossed. FF=2015 NC!
Johnston's ball looked like it was on a string. Hit, spin, die. Boom.
As an aside, we need a new field goal kicker. 10 for 17 at Ohio State? Ridiculous. Two of those were misses against VT. If he had made them, game would've been 28-27 in the final two minutes and your game plan isn't nearly as aggressive. Could've won it.
Alive yes, well not exactly. I think the status quo holds, but Baylor might jump us. We were always going to need help above us.
I'm liking our playoff chances. Can the NCAA really deny the first ever playoff a 1 vs 4 matchup featuring Urban Meyer and Nick Saban? They don't really have a history of throwing money away.
^^Written on the Internet, so it MUST be TRUE^^
Count me as one who thinks we are in good shape for the playoff as long as we keep winning. I think our brand, draw, and overall improvement are too much to ignore.
That said, I just don't see how we win out. With the weakness we've shown against the run and the fact that Wisconsin will play the best defense we've seen this year I'm afraid I see another loss in the B1G championship coming. Would love to hear reasonable explanations for why I am wrong though.
Because PSU was the best defense that we will see pre-play off. Because all of the great Wiskey running backs (Dayne included) have been contained by OSU for the last 16 years (think RDS says NO! to your touchdown record, Montee Ball).
I think the Big conference game will be more of what we saw today. Theory: the run defense looks stellar if you take away two plays of abysmal tackling. Reality: watch a guy run untouched for 96 yards (from hand off). Outcome: Buckeyes still win. Question: why is Fickell is still around?
Go Bucks! FF=2015NC!
I want to throw some shine on Cam Johnston. This guy is a lethal weapon! If you have a guy who can pin people down the way he does that takes a HUGE amount of pressure off the entire situation. Punters do not get the credit they deserve usually, but this dude should get the game ball! Keep it up and this guy will def be playing on Sunday.
In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...
Pretty good argument for moving us up to #4. We were tested, we adjusted, we rolled.
Bottom line: 10-1. Beat bradys bunch bigtime!
