As always appreciate the tidbits. Where do you see Brown playing on the field if he comes to tOSU?
"It's so easy to be average...to HELL WITH THAT" - Urban Meyer
Probably would follow up Devin Smith, IMO.
Recruiting seems to be slowing down. Guess we'll have to content ourselves with actual Buckeye football. Eight more days.
I see us at 78 currently... can we see a breakdown on the 76?
I have 76 as well.
I have 77.. forgot about Griffin...

Mike Vrabel said Purdue transfer DE Rashad Frazier has "literally earned" his scholarship at OSU. In DE rotation right now.
Frazier being on scholarship would be 77
he's will be on scholarship for just this yr as they are way under the 82 limit. I would imagine a few kids will get scholarships for this year only.
Thanks for the update Miles. Noah Brown sure has some good size at 6' 2". He's got a good frame to put on at least another 20 to 30 pounds by the time he gets in college. I'd really like to see us get him. Would be another great weapon to add to the arsenal.
We don't need Autry.
Buckeye For Life
When asked why he favored the Bucks, Noah Brown responded
Great Work Miles!!! Any word on Derrell Scott?
"We Don't Believe You, You Need More People"- Hova #GOBUCKS #FreeElGuapo #Famthik
It looks like that ship has sailed. Scott has a decision date scheduled and has done so without scheduling an official visit to Ohio State.
It's been my hope all along that OSU get Thomas Holley and Solomon Thomas in this class. It's a stretch for sure but those 2 young men would be incredible additions to our defensive front. IMO, both are in an area of need because games are ultimately won in the trenches. Go Bucks!
I would rather have some other guys than Noah Brown with the numbers being tight but hopefully he can find a way into this class. Very talented kid.
How is it the Rutgers are pulling in such great talent? Is it just because they are in the Big now? Or have they always done well?
Bury me in my away jersey, with my buckeye blanket. A diehard who died young. Rip dad.
PJ, I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I know Schiano (HC at Tampa Bay now) is a fantastic coach who was able to snag a lot of talent out of PA, NJ and other areas of the Northeast that play good HS football.
Remember, Rutgers was in the Big East too. I think Schiano got some kids from Miami and other areas of Florida that produce good talent.
I'm sure it doesn't hurt them now that they're in the B1G. I've said before that they were probably going to give State Penn heartburn on the recruiting front, because they might be able to lock down Eastern PA, convincing kids that didn't want to go too far from home to play in Jersey.
Throw in some good talent in NY (Curtis Samuels is out of Brooklyn), MD and the Tidewater of VA (which is not all that far away), and Rutgers might be able to be a pretty decent team for years to come.
I'm sure there are others on 11W that know a lot more about it than I do; maybe they can offer better insight.
Thanks old school. I didn't know much about them until they came to the big. I still don't know a whole lot other than I read here at 11w. It is amazing to me that they are in the mix on a few TOSU targets. I know most of the kids will stay local. I just see TOSU and Rutgers not even on the same level. It must be my scarlet glasses?
Solomon Thomas, go to Texas and get under coached by a poor staff, or come to OSU, get challenged and fully developed, become a grown ass man and make millions in the NFL. Touch choice.
Miles good article here, wish there was more to talk about on the recruiting front. How do you see the class this season finishing up?
247Sports composite five-star Coppell (Texas) defensive end Solomon Thomas named a top seven of Ohio State, Texas, Stanford, UCLA, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and UCLA.
Dang Solomon! Like California much?
I love the fact that two teams aren't on his list: USC and SEC. But Ohio state is so SUCKIIIIT!
One day I will valiantly become a political prisoner of 11W jail.
I wonder if he is leaning towards UCLA since they are listed twice?
The will to win is not as important as the will to prepare to win. -- Woody Hayes
Well, in that case my top 7 consists of Ohio State, Ohio State, Ohio State, Ohio State, Ohio State, Ohio State, and Ohio State!
and yes, I realize no one cares about my top 7!
