Carmen won't be a issue to walk over to after the game if your on the OSU side. That won't happen right away after the games conclusion. Seats there all pretty good Pro stadium and I feel shouldn't be hard to get. After a beat down I don't see Whisky with a ton of fans and might not sell their allotment to save money for their Bowl game jmo

How long has that van been there?

Hotels downtown are probably non existant. We reserved ours last year for this year. Good seats pretty much anywhere in the stadium and the game is the icing on the cake because its an awesome experience in Indy.

slightly unrelated... ok very unrelated.

I live in Los Angeles and know a person who's an ardent and passionate Minnesota Gopher fan.  After their PSU win, he made travel arrangements to Indy to, hopefully, witness the Gophers in the B1G title game.

Well, we all know how this turned out.  If you see him, tell him I said hi.

You are going to pay out ass for tix, especially if you want to get two together. At this point, I would probably wait and see if some Wisky tix get dumped.

As far as downtown stuff goes, I would advise staying in the burbs/along 465 and Ubering around.

If you don’t score tickets, go to St Elmos.   Shrimp Cocktail with that horseradish is a nasal cavity cleanser

At St. Elmos, you will get the best steak you’ve ever had!

I live in Indy and am a Badger fan.  I've gone to all 5 previous Wisconsin games in Lucas Oil -- I can tell you the demand for tickets from the Wisconsin fan base will be rather low.  I would wait until Friday or Saturday and buy tickets off of Stub Hub.  There are a ton of Craigslist scams -- a ton -- I would stay away from them.  The recommendation to stay in the burbs and Uber is a good one.  Head to a restaurant within walking distance of Lucas Oil and eat at the bar (Harry and Izzy's, St Elmos, Oceanaire, Spoke & Steele are a few good ones).

Have fun!  I'm hoping the Badgers stay within 2 scores so they can go to the Rose Bowl.  If they get  curb stomped, Penn State is heading to Pasadena.
