The CJ Hicks situation is a head-scratcher to me. The kid needs an offer.

Lots to consider....grades, character, work ethic etc. it’s not always that simple

tOSU takes it's time w/ sophomores-look at the situation w/ AJ Kirk. Also, at 6'4 190, I think the staff wants to know if they are getting a S or a LB. The whole 'perfect bullet' jive is kinda stupid IMO-Hafley wasn't having any of it this year. They need to ask if this kid projects as the next Tyvis Powell or the next Malik Harrison. FWIW, he is Robert Landers cousin, so the staff can take it's time-he'll be ready to pounce on the offer.

If there are no off field concerns, you offer him and let the positional placement sort itself out over the next two years. He’s a good enough athlete that he will be able to play for OSU at several positions.

Please get Powers, Hicks, and Tshabola committed ASAP.

Would love for Chase Harrison it develop into a big time recruit. Would love to lock down a big time Ohio QB and not have to worry about anything.

Wouldn't be our first quarterback from Centerville either.

Wouldn't OT Blake Miller qualify as a  "Keep and Eye On"? Or did his sophomore season not lift him to that level?

Miller continued to improve as a tackle in 2019.  He's definitely one to watch.

No Glenville. I guess the pipeline dryed up with the retirement of Ginn Sr. How is coach doing?

It takes a special person to coach not only Glenville but the entire Senate league in Cleveland. Senior did a great job coaching and even more turning lives around during his coaching career. So much talent in that part of Cleveland but a lot of other things too.

He beat pancreatic cancer, and his son is still in the NFL, so I'd say he's doing pretty great,.

Byrd is the real deal. We play Canal every year and his freshman year he ran for like 200 yards on us...oh BTW, our defense gave up like 80 points all year and he scored a lot of them...

This year he scored 6 TDs against us...

If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.

I watched the TTUN game with a few guys who coach in the GWOC, they said the Harrison kid is not as good as some are trying to make him. They said he needs a lot of improvement to get that top tier offer.

LOL sounds like a relation to Danny Clark. Some times they look at what can be and not what they are at the time. There are tons of high school talent but the high school can't give them the coaching for the player to reach his peak. Many times we say why did we pass on this kid when he is kicking ass at another school. Young man finally got some good coaching is why. Did anyone notice in the 2014 game vs Alabama their center was from Ohio. Did anyone ever here of this kid before that game I didn't?

Yes, many OSU fans wondered why we didn’t offer him. Kalil too, who went to USC, and is now in the pros.  In at least one of those two cases (I forget which year) OSU preferred a different C prospect that committed.

Was that back in the Jim Bollman years?.....he screwed up recruiting ALOT, he got some stars but wasn't it Bollman who didn't want Taylor Decker?

If people think Stud was doing poorly they would have been flipping their shit with Bollman.

Matt Kalil is from Ohio? What high school did he attend?
