Day and Co are recruiting only the best.

If only Day was able to keep up the high level of recruiting we've enjoyed these past 7 years.
What a great time to be a Buckeye! Now lets Smoke PSU. Destroy um. Bludgeon MN/WI/IA. Lay Waste to Clemson. Crush LSU.
A lot of haters and/or critics say that it is easy to follow what urban left behind and that the true sign is in the next couple recruiting classes. Well, this points to a very bright future! Go Bucks!!!

Hope to see a smooth and complete recovery from his knee injury. Seems to be a heck of a kid on and off the field. Go Bucks!

So now we're praising ESPN? Usually ESPN gets trashed on this site
Where are the typical ESPN hates OSU and the Big 10 and has the worst recruiting rankings and has the worst commentators and is just the SEC network and does all it can to knock OSU comments?
that only applies when they say something less than completely favorable to OSU as judged by OSU fans.
In all seriousness, our string of elite DEs likely continues with Sawyer, man have we been spoiled.
bosa, Bosa, Young, Harrison, Sawyer
So weird to read the timestamp on this comment and the one directly below it, trashing ESPN's recruiting rankings, made an hour before this comment.
My favorite line was when Sawyer made a point to note that he wasn't necessarily going for ESPN's number one ranking. He must be good if even ESPN puts him at the top, though.
Only when they deserve it.

Surprised ESPN didn't move him outside the top 200 with the injury like Jack Miller. But nice to see this. Ohio and local
Miller-injuries(3) in last 12 months.
247's in-house rankings have Jack Miller in the 400s. Are they in on the anti-OSU conspiracy? HOW HIGH DOES THIS THING GO?
Meanwhile Fleming and Sawyer are both #1 overall in the ESPN rankings and lower in all of the other ones.
Crazy idea here, but stick with me on this: perhaps different sites, who have different ranking systems put together by different people, maybe aren't going to rank every player the same way?
When I walked in this morning and saw the flag was at half mast I thought, "Alright, another bureaucrat ate it." but then I saw it was Li'l Sebastian. Half mast is too high. Show some damn respect.
Who is rated number 1 in 2020 for ESPN? Oh yah another buckeye.
but, but...but...ryan day isnt urban and ryan day can never be better than urban its impossibl...... and cant recruit and other stuff...
nonetheless i do think its funny that the network that most buckeye fans hate, has 2 ohiostate commited players ranked No.1 back 2 back classes.
Ryan Day the goat....and yes I pee on ttun all the time.
Why is being ranked #1 “humbling?” I’ve never understood why being given an award, a high ranking, etc., is humbling. I don’t get the phrase. I would say if I was ranked as the 1,003 long snapper in the country, then that would be humbling. But if I was ranked #1 overall? I would have a shirt made.
“I’m so tired of flexing.”
I've never really put too much thought into it since you literally hear people say it all of the time in those situations... but you've got a point haha.
Its kind of like "I am going to TAKE a shit" when actually you LEAVE a shit. Its just one of those phrases that tends to be oxymoronic.
You never get a second chance to make the first impression
That's why I say either I'm going to make a deposit or I'm dropping the kids off at the pool.
This reminds me of that bible parable where Jesus meets the leper colony and tells them, "be thine comforted, my brethren, in the fact that I can throw a football 85 yards, in the air"
I see it as humbling because you realize how fortunate you are. Kind of like if you went on a missions trip. You’d call that a humbling experience to realize how good you really have it .

In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...
It's humbling because you don't think you deserve it. You may be lucky enough to see how it feels one day
Coach LJ’s dojo will be strong for years to come.

So wait does ESPN still hate us? I’m confused.
My aim, then, is to whip the Weasels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom. - William Tecumseh Sherman (with apologies)
Any mention of where we stand Bingo Portersmith, the fat DT?
"When you help someone up a hill, you get that much closer to the top yourself..."
Now that Fields is here, that would be three #1 overall recruits in 4 years at The OSU. Day can recruit. That 2021 class will be stacked top to bottom.
When you win, recruiting gets easier ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sawyer looks like a really nice kid! Bet he morphs into one real badass when he straps on a helmet!
Year for what?

Just the right size for a great quarterback!
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
Pryor wasn’t number 1? I’m on my phone. I’ll play online later and look. I thought he was the headliner of the Brew crew, while not being one of them.
Pryor was number 4 by ESPN.
Congrats to him. Just hope his coach doesn't let him play any more QB next year. Can't afford to get another injury from playing that position
I heard that Sawyer was injured in the playoff game while playing QB. Anyone know more about that?
I think despite the injury, you can't deny his ability at his given position and the versatility of a guy like that who can also play QB. ESPN did something very right here, seems like a no-brainer to me.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
So if we land Sawyer, Robinson, Grimes, and Adeleye(all pretty good chances) what are people going to complain about next year since they be able to say "Day isn't recruiting defense"
Again 300 player's only 8 from Ohio a lot of states with more than 8 not like it once was sad to say. Miller went down like all other players that miss most of the season as did AJ Hawk took a drop because of injury. Poor grades drop you too because you might not qualify for a college. Either way these rankings will change before signing day next year a ton. This is why you can't just recruit Ohio kids. I think Texas had 40 in the top 100 it seemed and Pa. had more players than Ohio that didn't happen a lot through the years.
Now PLEASE make sure he does not play QB or any other offensive positions his sr year. Tell his idiot high school coach that he needs to keep him healthy for OSU in 2021.
