Let Bama play TTUN in the Holiday Bowl—(do they still have that bowl game)?
Joking aside, what kind of bowl game will Bama play in if LSU is 12-0 and UGA 11-1 going into the SEC CG? Didn’t the powers-that-be change the rules so that 3 teams from the same conference can now play in major bowls?
If not, though, will be funny to see Bama in the Citrus Bowl. Although 2010-11 Sparty probably begs to differ.

Yes, they will also be in the NY6. Conferences have had as many as four teams in the NY6:
In 2014, the SEC had Alabama (Sugar), Ole Miss (Peach), and Mississippi State (Orange) - and they all lost.
In 2015, the BIG had Sparty (Cotton), Ohio State (Fiesta), and Iowa (Rose).
In 2016, the B1G had Ohio State (Fiesta), Penn State (Rose), TTUN (Orange), and Wisconsin (Cotton) in the NY6.
In 2017, The Big had Ohio State (Cotton), Penn State (Fiesta), and Wisconsin (Orange), and the SEC had Auburn (Peach), Georgia (Rose), and Alabama (Sugar).
Last year, the SEC had Alabama (Orange), Florida (Peach), LSU (Fiesta), and Georgia (Sugar).

I am still rooting for Bama in the Citrus, though, so I can give my brother-in-law (who is a huge Bama fan) the business. That means Bama will have to lose to Auburn, then.
Nothing to prove against Bama. We all know the school OSU has something to prove against and the school OSU will have to go through to achieve the ultimate goal. As the great Ric Flair once said, "To be the man, you've got to beat the man."
Speaking of Bama, ( the thread on Tua in Buckshot's is dead, which is why I am posting this here) , the Alabama team orthopedist, Dr. Cain, announced a couple of hours ago that Tua had successful surgery on his hip this am, and will be returning to Tuscaloosa to begin rehab in a few days. What is rather strange is that he is quoted as saying that Tua will begin rehab with partial weight bearing then will move to full rehab and should be throwing by the spring.
This is polar opposite of what other orthopedists ( of course , they don't have direct access to Tua's injury records or scans) have said. I have yet to hear any other orthopedists quoted on this type of injury claim that a person can immediately begin a partial weight bearing two or three days out of having a broken acetabulum repaired. All have said no weight bearing for several weeks, then partial weight bearing. 3-6 months before recovery enough to walk and run normally. Unsure of athletic abilities needed of QB's in college or NFL, as to timeline and ability to actually achieve that level of performance.
Oh, and Tua also had a concussion and a broken nose, which was also repaired during surgery.
I have to wonder about the superman orthopedists and MD's on Alabama's athletic staff. Is it all BS or do they actually have the world's best shoulder, hip, knee and ankle surgeons? I really felt Tua had no business playing in the LSU game after his ankle surgery, especially when he started limping off after every play. But, hey, Alabama's med staff cleared him, like they seem to clear everyone.
Beat PSU, the rival, and win the B1G title first.
Then, if I had my druthers, would love to see Clemson in the playoff semifinal...that's 0-3 lifetime against the Tigers, all post-season losses.
The perfect ending against the other Tigers and Joe Burrow in the title game, as LSU deserves some payback as well.
Hindsight is, and in, 2020
We end 15-0, with playoff wins over Clemson and LSU, this will be the greatest Ohio State season I’ve ever experienced. Pure elation. I might just go streaking in Sweden in January.
Just reading that gave me chills.
And the undefeated finish, with wins over the Tigers is pretty cool too.
I wasn't sure if it was chills, or if the thought of Knarcisi streaking made me shudder.
Come with, Earle.
The thought of Knar and Earle streaking in January

“GEORGE:” Well I just got back from swimming in the pool. And the water was cold…
“JERRY” Oh… You mean… shrinkage.

Knarcisi, I will streak the streets of New Orleans if you run wild in Sweden!
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
Probably just another Saturday night for Cajun.
Nothing cleanses the soul like a no call pass interference.
Haven't streaked since 2011... I'm way overdue..
Deal. How much Don Julio will you have in you?
Enough that when I trip over a curb, I'll never feel it til morning
All I know is that to me you look like you're lots of fun.
Urban is 1-0 against Saban at OSU. He can enjoy his retirement peacefully with that knowledge forever lol.
I'd like to see Jalen Hurts against his former team in a bowl game. That would be a bowl game worth watching.
That'll be 5 dollars
That has a decent chance of happening I would think with the bowl tires the SEC and Big 12 have I would think?
Also a chance Fields could play Georgia and Burrow could play OSU if things fall right in the CFP.
How much of advantage would teams have with a former QB of a team they are game planning for?
