I'm sure the chess game has begun in the film room. Day denies it, but it's pretty obvious OSU was working on the passing game in anticipation of the PSU game.

B1G welfare cases and a paycheck opponent have led the way in scoring on the Buckeyes this season.

Funny like a clown!
Say hello to the hack's in Happy Valley for me, ehhh?
Kirk Pengilly FTW! Thank you, Ramzy. I asked, you delivered.
I like Justin Field's chances of putting up big numbers on this Penn State defense. I think he's better than any of those other guys they've faced. Hoping for a big time game from Fields and our receivers!
The Colombians I supervised in Afghanistan called me jefe. I look forward to trying that cocktail. That reminds me, I need to leave some Knob Creek at the GFs.
Kick their asses please.
jefe /ˈhɛfɛɪ/ noun
a boss or leader; a person in charge of something.
“The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men to do what he wants done, and self-restraint enough to keep from meddling with them while they do it.” – Theodore Roosevelt
Yes. I just wasn’t expecting to see it here.

Jefe as in El Chapo.

Columbians in Afghanistan...there for the pistachios, I suppose.

That or for their training and experience in dealing with people like Pablo Escobar and FARC.
I was in high school when INXS was doing all that. Yep, Gen-X here. It does kinda suck seeing songs from your era become advertisements, but I guarantee it will happen to you too - lest you think I'm just old and complaining.
What really hurts is when songs from your era becomes “elevator” music...
I can't see Ozzy ever becoming elevator music. I bet if you search long enough someone has tried to do it though.
“Mama, I’m coming home” could fit the criteria...
He did it lounge style for his TV show.
"The magic word's rock n' roll, Man!"
UpIrons with you name I would assume you lean towards Iron Maiden over inxs.....?
That's how winners play. We convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.
Yes indeed. Iron Maiden is my #1 but I love all kinds of great music.
After seeing your name the next day I had meetings all over God's creation and had about 4 hrs drive time, so I Listened to Powerslave (Rhyme of the ancient mariner 2 X's just because it may be my favorite IM song!) Piece of mind, number of the beast ending with somewhere in time.. Great little road trip, the traffic wasn't as shitty with the tunes blasting!
Yup, me too. I even saw INXS in concert at Blossom Music Center (outside Cleveland). That was a loooooong time ago....
I very much enjoy reading your Situational's.
How about ePublishing ALL of them, back to back, in annual groups?
I'd pay for that.

legit clicked it hoping it was for a laugh at work...damnit
IU should have had them beat (with their backup QB) but PSU kept getting help from the officiating crew.
If IU can do this to Penn State, and we did what we did to IU.. we might just erase Penn State from existence.

What's the correlation between a maraschino cherry liqueur (say, Luxardo) and Schladerer?
New Day for OSU. Same noon for TTUN.
IMO Luxardo is more tart and viscous, that's all.
So you're saying it's going to be a blowout.
I love the Bert called KJ Hill story. That is absolutely hilarious! An incredible group of players is going to go out in style, me thinks.
Oh, and everyone here should be cheering for Hill to break that consecutive games record for catches.
Every. Last. One. Of. Us.

A minor correction, but I believe Jonathon Cooper is a senior.
JK Dobbins? Jonathon Cooper? Justin Hilliard? Chase Young? Jefé Okudah?
Dobbins, Young, El Jefe - we thank you for your services and wish you the best of luck in the league
Cooper - hopefully you heal up and play ASAP and have your presence felt in the playoffs and win the natty and enjoy that NFL paycheck
Hilliard - hopefully you get that medical waiver and can improve your stock and we will see you next year!
Bonus: Shaun Wade - oh what a year a difference made - thank you as well!
Are you reminiscing or projecting?
Projecting he goes too - he's a first rounder most likely. 2nd rounder at worst
I think Antwaun Jackson and Josh Alabi are red shirt juniors who are expected back next year.
Pretty sure they're both seniors. For sure on Alabi, Jackson may have one more year.
I saw where Alabi was a red shirt senior. Thought Jackson had one more year but now not too sure. Could have sworn reading an Eleven Warriors article earlier in the year saying that we had 19 scholarship seniors this year.
I was kind of mad about the noon kickoff. But the thought of waking up Saturday and going from coffee (cup 1) to coffee and Bulleit (cups 2 and 3) to beer by noon to watch these Seniors (and juniors) sent off with a huge victory is becoming very enticing.
haha I am in Texas so it's 11 AM for me and that is just perfect because I can eat some breakfast and watch fox's pregame /maybe flip it over right before to see Corso wear the brutus head (MAYBE workout before) and come back and have some beers or cocktails and watch the game - instead of a 3:30 EST where time seems to stand still til then
I'll be spending my morning with the pregame drinking warm up, trying to get things done (see making it look like I'm getting stuff done) so I can then convince my wife and kids to leave me alone for the afternoon. If I'm lucky, send them off to do the grocery shopping and Costco visit to keep them out of the house for the entire game. My kids are starting to repeat the things they hear on Saturdays, specifically my youngest, so the less time they are here the better. Drinks in the air, let's get this party started!
send them off to do the grocery shopping and Costco visit
LMAO so you basically may not see them til after the later afternoon games if there's a Costco trip involved - smart strategy - you may be calmed down from the big win by then
Bank account won't like it, but it will be offset by drinking at home and eating the inevitable leftover Friday night pizza. There is a 87% chance my kids both come back with 3 new pairs of PJ's.
Ha, I just came home from Costco with 2 giant R/C trucks for $70 each.
I moved to Denver 2 years ago and I absolutely love a 10am kickoff. Wake up, drink a coffee, grab some donuts, and football is upon you. Also, I can even watch the end of late games when I have to be at work at 7am the next day! The fabulous sports watching side effects are a benefit I had not thought about when moving.
There are many great things in Denver. If I was ever to move there, earlier kickoff times would be at the forefront of why I think it would be sweet. I mean this game is over at 1:30 for you out there, you literally still have all day.
I'm cool with the noon kick-off b/c it means I won't be a freakin' basket-case the entire day. I want to get the victory early and then spend the rest of the day watching other games in leisurely fashion, making sure to record all of the various highlight shows.
I hadn't even thought about it being Senior Day! Wow, what a ride these guys have taken...As if they needed any more incentive to bust open a Horseshoe-size can of whup-ass.

Blood & Sand sounds good, and like it could be an INXS song.
Nothing cleanses the soul like a no call pass interference.
It's not college feelingsball, it's college football.
So remember! This ain't about feelings! It's about... feet!
My favorite picture atop this article.
Wow this is shocking to me,I would think there would be more than that as much as we’ve owned teams early in games. This is a testament to recruiting and depth. As many people on here know already I can’t say enough about the job that Larry Johnson does! The game is won in Da Trenches. Great job by defensive coaches and younger kids getting their first taste of Buckeye football!!
Im most excited to see Chase Young coming off 4 full weeks of rest.
I'm most excited to see Chase Young come in pissed off!
Year for what?
Antwaun Jackson is out of eligibility after this season?
That'll be 5 dollars
Pretty sure when he came here last season it was written that he had 2 seasons left. He transferred from Auburn to JUCO after his Freshman season right? then played 1 season at JUCO.
Fields of Dreams
52 Antwuan Jackson DT 6-2 299 Sr./Jr................................
From the media guide. This is his Jr year of eligibility.
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
Maybe the implication is he’s not getting a 5th?
KK, the winningest player in program history, I like that.
Head north till you smell it, west until you step in it
Saturday will be the final home game for a group of players whose tenures stretch over the past five seasons.
Man. When you read that list and then throw in a few others, it throws you a bit. That’s some group there. But I’m confident their Senior Day will be a good one.
Until reading this I completely forgot it's senior day and the last home game of the season. It's going too fast
I think Antwaun Jackson has 1 year of elgibility remaining. OSU roster said he red-shirted his 1st year at Auburn. He definitely will be an important player on the D-line next year!
Would also like to say Thank You K.J. Hill.
Victory loves preparation
Great group of seniors. They go out in style... Bucks 41-17
Terry with the wipe out block and KJ high stepping into the end zone. That is the perfect picture up top because you see everything in one shot that was great about that play.
Oh yeah, that was glorious! Terry's block was such a thing of beauty. God, I miss him! What a totally class player. And I agree--that picture was incredible in its scope.
FAU only scored 2 touchdowns. Had field goal in Q2, field goal in Q2, and two touchdowns (with a 2pt conversion) in the 4th.
Cornhuskers had the 11th TD.
While that would alter the point you were making, it doesn't weaken it. Cheers and Go Bucks!
Mahalo again for a very nice write-up again. You and OSU just keep winning.
"I also don't subscribe to one-off transitive conclusions in a chaotic sport that relies on teenagers, but I do find some value in, uh, five-off transitive performances."
Mahalo again. The transitive principle applies to college football, but the stochastic variables have such a high standard of deviation that it prevents statistical inference. So expanding the sample size to five is helpful.
"Penn State escaped two targeting penalties in a single play."
Mahalo for making us aware. Ouch! And no targeting upon review??
"Blood & Sand, a classic Scotch cocktail was invented n a blind pig speakeasy"
Mahalo. You mean it's not Sangre y Arena from an impasionado Spanish bullfighter?
And speaking of Spanish. Jefe Okudah? There's no accent on the last syllable of Jefe. And how about just 'Cuda?
And now I'm hearing Ann Wilson from Heart: "Ooohh, barra-CUDA!"
Seriously what happened to Drue Chrisman? He has been struggling.
“but it's unlikely he would have thrown or punted in Woodson's direction, because why would anyone do that. Why. Damn it, Coop.”
this clarifies why I wake up suddenly screaming into the night.
