Haven't lost a noon kickoff in a very, very long time, I like it.
Esp at the Shoe. Am very happy with this development.
A gentle reminder to BE NICE. Plays guitar and makes iced tea in the winter.
Since Michigan (ugh) in 2011 I believe.
Last home noon loss was 2001 Illinois.
2011 didnt count anyways smh
last time we actually lost to michigan was 2003

i LOVE the noon kickoff - it leaves the entire rest of the day to enjoy a HUGE win!
Damn Fox!!! Wish we were fully contracted with ESPN! It would be a 330 game
eSECpn hates the B1G. Best thing that ever happened to the conference was FOX. I’ll take the nooner every week just to stick it to eSECpn.
Also, better to get this game out early and start pre-game for The Game!
ESPN hates us? You don’t watch it or read their articles then. Or have seen their ratings they gave us the first 9 weeks?
BOOOOO! Thanks, Fox, for killing our tailgate scene this year. Way to ruin a great thing. That is all.
Seriously a garbage decision. The biggest games of the year should be played in prime time.
I get the appeal of both.. but I agree for the most part. I like to be able to get some things accomplished during the day and enjoy the game at the end.
With it being a big recruiting weekend, I’m sure, a night game against a top 5 Penn State would really look good at night.
They will never have a night game as late as November 23rd.
Michigan St 2015 was a night game the week before TTUN
3:30. It just was dark because of the time of year
And because of that, a 3:30 game would be 100x better than noon.
i imagine it'll look pretty good during the day, too.
WHY are we at noon this weekend tho?! Shouldn't their Big Noon game be Iowa/Wisconsin since they don't have Penn State/Minnesota? I miss 3:30.
Business decision likely related to the fact that they don’t want our game that will likely be uncompetitive up against LSU/Bama
I think lsu vs bama is this coming weekend, 9 Nov 19.
Born and bred a Buckeye - Buckeye 'til I die
They’re building a brand. They can’t just flop to 330 occasionally when they’ve been pushing “best games at noon” all year.
The brand is Ohio State, they will get those ratings no matter what time OSU plays. Tired of these nooners...
Will be best of the day if not all season.
OH-IO living BACK IN COLUMBUS after 32 years in the ATL.
Those 2 games would be starting at 11am their time. Maybe that is why also? Idk
I for one am pumped about the buckeye game leading right into the LSU Bama game. Sounds like an excellent way to spend 7 hours.
"Because we couldn't go for three"
that's exactly what i'll be doing!
Bama Lsu is this weekend at 330. We are 2 weeks away from Penn st week. No pun intended
The original comment was talking about this weekend’s game.
Klatt let it slip that he and Gus had the call this past week, and so this shouldn't be a surprise. Go Bucks, Beat the Kitties.
Caught that also TMac.
Good! If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Love that Fox will be on site, not afraid of Gameday at all. Dared them to come for Wisconsin too
FOX has announced they have expanded their pregame show by an hour (10am start) and will be outside for the first hour
2x account suspension survivor
ESPN gameday won't show up if this game is on Fox
That has nothing to do with it. Hell, this week they're going to Alabama for a game that's going to be on CBS.
yes they will--if both teams remain undefeated that is...book it
They’ve done a Gameday on the Oval before. Wouldn’t surprise me it all if they chose that as the spot.

Alabama/LSU is on CBS
Fowler isn't going to like this. I'm sure he was pleasuring himself at the thought of calling/cheering on a PSU upset in prime time lol.
Hahaha, you nailed it, D.
Fowler tries to make it seem that every play is the most amazing play he's ever seen.
Um...Uncle Vern would like a word....
Watching him call a game... a Bama back could make a routine 3 yard gain and you’d think Vern just saw Sanders or Payton in their prime for the first time....
36-24-36? Ha ha, only if she's 5'3"
I’m not sure what time it is, but Xichigan still sucks
I still have nightmares about him calling that KJ Hamler TD last year. Meanwhile when Victor scored on his incredible play he sounded completely dejected lol.
I thought the game was going to be on ABC
The way it is if I am correct, Fox gets first choice of any game B1G/Big 12. ESPN gets second choice. Obviously with this being the undisputed marquee game of the week (possibly the season) Fox wants it as their Big Noon kickoff game. Imagine ESPN will choose either Mich at IU or TCU vs Oklahoma.
Football is a religion in Ohio. We attend our service every fall on the banks of the Olentangy. A place we affectionately call "the shoe".
Leaving Norman at noon on Friday and driving back to Columbus for Thanksgiving. Was really hoping for a 3:30 but a nooner will work too.
Just posting and hoping my comment isn’t deleted.
Damn! For us on the west coast this really sucks.
Sucks to be you but sucks more to be us in the East for most everything, NBA, MLB, MNF, etc etc,
I love the 10am game here in Colorado. Would take it over having to stay up late for what seemed like every major sporting event while in Ohio.
So Cal dweller here, love the early game. Get it out of the way. I get to wake up, watch, and not stress over it all day.
I used to get up at 530am in Honolulu. Bunch of west coast babies!
Lol... life was hard brah.
I've been a west coaster for 15 years and I used to hate it but now I love it. For the match-ups where my nerves are going to be shot (like this and TTUN) for me, nooners are perfect. The game is over by just after 12:30 our time and I can (hopefully) enjoy the rest of my day stress-free.
it's an 8:00 am game here in Alaska. Love the 8:00 am games! Wake up and game is on! Coffee, pancakes. Love it.
Penn St announces 2020 whiteout game vs OSU at 730
The world is yours
Greatest atmosphere in college football. I’ll be there!
I’m tired of playing in their nighttime white out games, and then we play Penn State, (Wisconsin, and Michigan State all during the day )
That’s just the nature of the best. We’re the biggest game on their schedule, they’re not the biggest game on ours. It’s a blue blood first world problem.
When was the last time we lost a nooner at home?
In fact, our record is much better the last decade in noon matchups against top 25 teams than 3:30/night matchups against top 25 teams.
I’m not sure why people think moving a game to a likely frigid November evening would help us.
The only thing night games help are the recruits that aren't from Columbus coming to the game (much easier to make a primetime kick if you have to get on a plane) and the opponents.
Noon games give the home team an advantage, as they get to sleep in their own beds in their own homes the night before the game. PSU either has to hop on a bus at the ass crack of dawn, or spend the night in a Columbus hotel. Either way, they won't be nearly as well rested. A night game gives them all day to adjust, whereas a noon game they only have a couple hours to get game ready.
I used to be a night game truther, but I have fully accepted B1G Noon Saturday as the greatest time slot.
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Triv, I think Ohio State stays at the hotel right by the Shoe the night before a home game,
Huh, TIL I guess. I just assumed that's where the team met in the morning. Seems silly to force the team to sleep in a hotel when their bed is literally a few minute walk away if on campus, or a few minute drive if off campus.
Triv- the team sleeps at a hotel night before just like the visiting team.
Team stays at the Blackwell night before home games. You can catch them making the walk to Skull Session and on to stadium about 0930 for a noon kick.
I read blitz
We don't need the help either way. I just prefer to enjoy the game at the end of the day instead of right in the middle.
Funny how so many cry about the BiG noon games with the Buckeyes, but they are highest rated games on any given weekend.
I don't give a fuck about the ratings, and I'm going to watch either way. But I prefer 3:30 or 8:00 starts and there have been far too many noon games this year and I hate it.
Why? Like I don’t get really get why people hate noon games so much?
Me personally i like them, I hate having to wait all Saturday to watch the team play after waiting all week.
I can have people over in the evening, serve them food, make an event out of it. A nooner is just me on the couch.
I can have people over, start serving food at halftime, and they can leave before 5.
I got the whole evening to myself.
Sooner or later it all gets real.
You just need new friends
Speaking purely from a college student perspective; if I want to pregame I’ve got to be ready to drink by 10, which can be rough depending on how Friday night goes
You fail for having gone to bed in the first place...
Gotta love it.
if I want to pregame I’ve got to be ready to drink by 10, which can be rough depending on how Friday night goes
You’re a kicker and we’re stretching.
Justice delayed is justice denied....#FTP
We don't have to make a national production of this game like PSU does when they are the home team, but could we get a 3:30 at least?
I do not at all have the mind of a bully... in my mind bullies are intolerant of contrary opinion, domineering and rather cowardly.
Noon - of course it is.
Shit happens. Bum juice.
I season my simple food with hunger
Anybody have a visitor list for that weekend?
I hate fox sports, worst time slot ever. So much wasted recruiting potential....
See yall at noon on Satruday....
South Carolina Buckeye
Can anyone point to an instance where we missed out on a recruiting target because they went to a noon game instead of a night game?
Good question. It’s also possible - I don’t know - that what the staff loses in not having a night game atmosphere and travel-flexibility, it makes up in having better post-game recruiting visit logistics.
The only real disadvantage I can see to noon start times for recruits is that it may be extremely hard (especially for out-of-state recruits) for them to make it to games because of their high school football schedule (typically Friday night). However, with the Penn State game being on November 23rd, I would expect that most recruits are no longer playing in games unless they are deep into their respective playoffs so it should not be much of a factor. I get that a night game may be a better scene for a recruit compared to a noon kick, but I highly doubt that has been a deciding factor for many recruits choosing between top programs.
This is it. Don't get scared now.
I would argue the opposite. Get the recruits to the game early, and then let them enjoy campus and Columbus at night after a big win.
Look on the bright side. You play a big game late, coaches have a ton going on and can't give recruits much attention during the day. Beat the Kitties down by 3:30, and then have the coaches spend the next six hours with the kids going, " Yup. That's what we do. Want in or not?"
This is a great point. But I would add that noon makes it VERY difficult for an out-of-region high school player to finish their Friday night game then travel to Ohio before kickoff.
That's pretty late into the playoffs by that point, so that would seemingly only affect a few kids. And I would bet most of our last targets have already been to a game.
Any idea what games each network gets? If this was on ABC it would absolutely be played in primetime. Yes . . .either network will get the ratings because, hey . . . it's OSU. How do the networks split up the games?
They basically do a fantasy draft in the offseason where they take turns picking which weekends they want the first pick. Fox goes first and picks OSU/Michigan every year, but then ABC gets to pick a different weekend, then Fox, etc.
Basically, ESPN bet hard on Michigan being the best team in the conference this year. Their first 2 picks were for TTUN/PSU and TTUN/ND.
ESPN chose poorly.
Tailgate Fare Historical Archive
"Y'all got a real purty mouth" - Dabo Swinny • BuckeyeJuggernaut.com
My understanding is that it’s basically handled like a “draft”. Fox picks a weekend then ESPN picks a weekend, Fox picks a weekend, ESPN picks a weekend and so on and so forth. On your weekend that network gets the first pick.
So likely what happened was Fox picked this weekend as a “first pick” weekend and with their first pick, they picked this game.
Don't know why anyone is surprised by this. Fox wants to own the noon slot, this is how you do that. Put Ohio State on at Noon every chance you get and you win.
This week even though everyone knows that Ohio State is gonna win by 6-7 tds they will be the highest rated noon game for at least the first half even with the PSU/Minn game at the same time(I'll be watching both on side by side TVs).
They will have the highest rated game in their Noon slot in back to back weeks(PSU/OSU and TTUN/OSU) thus proving the point they are trying to make. Fox Big Noon games are here to stay so just get use to a lot of Ohio State noon games moving forward.
It fucking sucks!
While I agree in a way. The numbers are supporting what Fox is doing and they only way to stop it is to not watch which isn't going to happen. Fox is getting exactly what they want from their Big Noon game plan.
In a way it is good because we get a big win and the rest of the day during every game Ohio State is being talked about for their big win. Every highlight show all day, every halftime show all day is an ad as to look how good Ohio State was today.
Say they go out and beat Penn State by 4 TDs the rest of the day you are gonna hear look how impressive Ohio State was demolishing a top 4 team over and over and over again.
I get why Fox does it, but does Ohio State not have ANY say? It's great for Fox, bad for Ohio State fans
Bad for SOME Ohio State fans. I like it. Don't have to sit around all day waiting for the game. Can sleep til like 11:30 drive over to my dad's and watch the game with him go back home and relax the rest of the day.
With the TV networks throwing millions of dollars at the Big Ten, I would guess that Ohio State has no say whatsoever...
Are we seriously not going to have a primetime night game all year?
You mean other than Nebraska, Michigan State and Northwestern...?
I think he meant a good game.
My aim, then, is to whip the Weasels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom. - William Tecumseh Sherman (with apologies)
Any win is a good game!!!
If you do not believe that, check where bama is ranked!
Hell, even more so, Clemson.
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
Define "good game". If you mean close, we don't play those.
You forget the Sparty game already? Not to mention NW and Nebraska at night on the road.
those teams are trash
Stop abandoning the running backs.
OSU is trying to save on the light bill.
GO BUCKS!!! *ichigan sucks!!!
I have no problem with it...at all...players can wake up, eat, do their walk through, warm up, kick some ass, then wind down and spend time with their family and friends. They don't have to sit around and wait, either getting too amped or too nervous. Actually, I love it...GO BUCKS!!!
Am so sick of these Noon kick offs jacking with my tailgate visits. Ditch Fox!!!
DV3. OSU '80
With just two words interchanged, this post could have been taken a lot differently...
FOX has owned ESPN/ABC this year with the game selections. Depending on that Rutgers hold, we could play out the season having not been on ESPN/ABC since the MSU game. Because the last 3 huge ones are locked in on FOX now.
Seems like they bought into the Michigan hype before the season began. My guess is the beginning of conference drafting selections for the networks went something like this:
1. Fox - Ohio State/Michigan (Week 14)
2. ESPN - Michigan/Notre Dame (Week 9)
3. Fox - Ohio State/Penn State (Week 13)
4. ESPN - Michigan/Penn State (Week 8)
Agreed. And the irony is, Fox got the game where the hype train hit a brick wall (Michigan/Wisconsin).
Depending on that Rutgers hold, we could play out the season having not been on ESPN/ABC since the MSU game
And I will be perfectly happy with not listening to Fowler call another game

I love Noon games, our highlights run all damn day across all the other games. And on top of that, we generally kick ass at noon. What's there to bitch about?
No chance to do anything else you wanted to get done on a Saturday
No chance to do anything else you wanted to get done on a Saturday
It's not like the game is 8 hours long... You have from mid-afternoon on to do stuff
I'm confused by people who want to do anything else on a Saturday in the fall.
Those deer don't kill themselves.
How much are your condo maintenance fees?
Life is short. Filled with stuff.
for those of us that enjoy getting hammered and eating an entire pizza during the OSU game, it makes it difficult to get anything done from "mid-afternoon on"
Napping is quite possible. Just ask me. I get to check that off the list every Saturday. Lol
so, you're saying tv sports scheduling should cater to drunks?
Ideally everything should.
While I prefer a 3:30 kick LOVE LOVE LOVE our highlights are in the face of the rest of the country ALL F'ing DAY AND NIGHT!
This is the best news yet!
Thank you Urban Meyer and Gene Smith
Having 3 young kids that have activities on the weekend this sucks because by the time the primetime game would come on they would all be going to bed so I would not have to juggle that. In any case, take care of business and win out Bucks!!!
Stop whining about tailgating. It's not like you can't tailgate/celebrate for the next 10 hours after the game.
You get 5 hours of tailgating in before the game and 10 hours in after with 3 hours of entertainment in the middle.
That being said, I'd tell FOX I want at least one night game per year at the shoe for recruiting purposes.
I think some people like to get some real-life things done before the game throws a wrench into everything
There is plenty of time both before and after the game to get real life things done in a noon time slot. I'm not sure what "real life things" take more than 3 hours, but if you can't get them done between 9 and 12 you have from 4-bedtime to get them done!
get drunk at noon...and then what? drive around and do your errands? Great idea.
Option 1: Do errands before noon. Most stores do in fact open before then, if you weren't aware
Option 2: Don't get so drunk at noon that it destroys the rest of your day. If you're too lazy or unable to get things done before noon that need to get done, do the responsible thing and don't get shithoused for a noon game. You can have 4 or 5 drinks throughout the game and still be stone cold sober by 7 to get whatever it is done that you needed.
Option 3: Errands are for Sunday's anyways
Point being - if you have things to do on a Saturday and a noon kick is the reason you don't get them done, that's 100% on you buddy lol
Option 4: You don't need to get drunk to watch a football game so just wait til later if you feel like you need to get drunk....I have never been drunk for a football game and it is indeed an enjoyable experience.
This is also a choice lol, but based on his responses on this thread I'm operating under the impression that XBrax is in the 18-23 range and just assuming Football = Alcohol in his mind
Option 1: Not possible since I'm preparing the home and cooking for a party for the biggest game of the regular season.
Option 2: "Don't get drunk with your friends at the party you're hosting" Boy that sounds like a blast. "You can have just 4 or 5 drinks..." LOL, you don't know how my friends and I party. "Be sober by 7" LOL, NO. Just. NO. Even If i was, it's freaking dark by then.
Option 3: I work
Point being - You sound boring. I'm 33, I work hard and I play harder.
AH got it..You're one of those I can't have fun unless I'm getting hammered people. Sorry that football games don't make decisions based on your drinking habit.
Yep so boring that we don't get drunk every chance possible.
All you said in this post is that you being unable to handle having responsibilities on a Saturday because of a noon game is unequivocally your fault lmao. If you have things to do, but prioritize getting shitfaced with your friends, that's called being irresponsible. I also was unaware that errands can only be completed when its bright outside, but again, that's also 100% on you.
Option 3: I work
Unless you're at work or drunk 100% of the time Sunday-Saturday, you didn't list one single valid excuse why a noon game should prevent you from getting things done.
Once again, if the time of a game being 12 rather than 3:30 or 8 is negatively impacting your schedule THIS badly, it's a reflection of your inability to properly manage your time.
You sound boring. I'm 33, I work hard and I play harder.
You may be 33, but if your definition of fun HAS to involve partying to the point your Saturday is shot by 3 PM, you're at about a college juniors maturity level. Contrary to your beliefs, there are plenty of ways to not be boring but also be able to be a functioning member of society after an OSU football game. I drink plenty, but I'm also responsible enough to make sure any responsibilities I have are taken care of before drinking to the point that I can't handle those responsibilities. That's called being an adult.
sometimes there are multiple "real life things" that can take an entire day.
In that case, it wouldn't matter if the game was a 3:30 kick anyways
Noon games suck. That is all.
I can see not having a night game this late in the season. But this game would be perfect for a 3:30 kickoff.
FOX: "All we care about is money. Fuck the fans."
Heck yes! Love me a 9a kickoff!
Same here. Great way to start the day and then spend the rest of the day doing chores and watching other games. Surprised at all the Noon kickoff hate in these comments!
I understand the distaste for noon kickoffs, as I feel the same about 3:30p EST kickoffs (12:30p PST).
Because night games are the perfect way to cap off a day of getting shit done. and then you can be useless afterwards.
On the flipside, getting a game out of the way leaves the evening open for other things. For example, I have a buddy getting married this weekend. If the Maryland game didn't kick off at 9a my time, I'd be forced to watch some of the game while my buddy ties the knot.
Definitely a valid point - especially because here in Seattle it's 9 AM so really start to the day, vs 12 PM middle of the day. I'm definitely a big fan of 9 AM kickoffs, wouldn't like it so much otherwise.
Ultimately, I'll watch the Buckeyes whenever, wherever. The other main team I follow is Liverpool in EPL so I'm well used to early kickoffs.
Fox is reinventing this noon time slot with Ohio State. I think it’s OK because it’s become the norm for the team and the most important thing is the W. Oh, and they can settle down afterward and start getting their rest for The Game. Sorry for you west coasters.
Noon games have been good to Ohio State, but not a huge fan personally since I live on the west coast. Every once in awhile it is nice not arriving at a bar by 8:30am haha.
Born, raised, educated, and will die a Buckeye ~ BuckeyeNation
I am good with it. The baby gets fed right before noon, so I may get roughly 2 hours uninterrupted after a midday food nap.
You can feed a bobcat all the chili it wants. That don't mean it's going to crap out diamonds.
When my kids were babies, I used to volunteer to watch them on football Saturdays. Most of the time, they slept soundly on my chest or in a nearby crib (I was an elite-level swaddler) and I would spend all day watching football. When my wife got home around 6 pm, she would ask about other items on the “honey do” list and I would say that the baby was fussy and left no room for any other tasks.
it took her about four months to catch on and by then bowl season was over.
lol---great post--multiple uv's!!!
I have much to learn, oh wise one!
Whatever works, just win the game. Def. was hoping for a 3:30 kick for this one, just to vary it up, but whatever. Let's just go get a division title!
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
Obviously, this would be an epic night game, but that’s off the table, anyway, that late into November. As for noon v. 3:30 . . . the Buckeyes have a hell of a nooner streak going right now, and that might not be a statistical accident.
I fully expected this to be a night game, should be a top three matchup. However, since the wife accidentally picked that evening to schedule a dinner train with friends, I’m pretty happy with this!
Just win baby
I have a wedding to go to at 4:00pm--this time is perfect for me--JUST WIN!!!
If it wasn't you skip said wedding....you don't need friends or family that have wedding during football season in your life.
you don't need friends or family that have wedding during football season in your life.
Yup, few things are more inconsiderate than fall weddings.
Anyone who invites Buckeyes to weddings on Saturdays in the Fall isnt a true friend.
If it wasn't you skip said wedding....you don't need friends or family that have wedding during football season in your life.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, what kind of ungodly person gets married on a saturday in college football season?
If she's not pregnant there's no excuse.
I told my Fiancee that she can have the wedding in the fall if she wants but I won't be there.
This team is going to be so used to noon kickoffs. Will be strange for them to play at night for the Big Ten Championship and in the Playoff games.
Much prefer attending noon games. Especially late season games. Turns out OSU actually plays it's home games in Ohio. It will likely be cold and the sun is much nicer to set under than the lights.
Look I'm old and do not tailgate, but I have and if you haven't learned to tailgate after the game, your doing it all wrong! Hell even enables the worst part of attending the game to be avoided!! All the damn people and cars all over the place. Even more importantly, it keeps all the drunks off the road for awhile.
Thanks Fox, keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing you before the game!!
It's Ohio, so you never know. I remember playing Iowa in November, in the dark, and it was around 70 degrees. (Just looked it up, 2009, 3:30 kick.)
Shaun Wade's dad has some thoughts on all these noon kickoffs .....
Let's Rewind.... When you have a Friday night HS game and you live over 12 hrs from Columbus.... It is very inconvenient to get there for Noon game! Ask parents and recruits? Ask Pantoni? 5 out of 7 home games this year were at Noon... Will it kill recruiting no.......

— Randy L Wade% f@Ly..... (@gslsff) November 6, 2019
I mean, its also inconvenient to kids to have it be a nightgame where they now need to either spend the night or drive back home at 2 am. There isn't really a perfect answer.
Who’s the 5star hes bringing?

I feel too many here are blaming Fox for not having the game at night. That is the Big 10's call. Fox is all about owning the noon spot. I am fine with it. Never liked waiting all day. I get others do, but we all have to deal with things sometimes.
you don't need to actually sit there waiting
Not too happy with the noon game but it’s whatever. Can anyone enlighten me as to why fox gets all the big buckeye games? If abc had this game it would be 3:30 for sure.
I have come to the conclusion, this fan base is never happy about anything, EVER. Back when we had the run of Nebraska, Northwestern, and MSU night games, tons of people were complaining about all the night games, blah, blah, blah. Now we have a run of nooners and people are complaining about that...its hilarious.
I love noon games personally. Hit the beers early, watch the game, take an afternoon nap, and still have the evening to do whatever. The times of the games never bothers me really. I dont know why people get so fired up about it.
I like noon games...you can see the fuck'n tears running down the face of back stabbing Franklin and complete failure in his facial expression's...Fuck Franklin...Fuck P.S.U. Fans...Fuck P.S.U.Coach's...Go Bucks
For you millennials, its called Kegs and eggs. Its a thing, set your Alexa's to wake your asses up at 6am.
Lets Go Bucks!
I like noon games and Michigan being at noon, but this is the biggest B1G game of the season and easily top 2 of the year. Should be at 3:30.
I'll take a noon game as long as the weather is decent
I like playing this game at noon, but I don't like the idea that we always have to play at Penn State at 8 every year and never get to return the favor.
What about Rutgers kickoff time?
Kickoff at night on November 23 won’t attract a lot of recruits. Better to have the game when temp at kick off is above 20 !
If the Bucks break out alternate uni's for this game some peoples heads are literally going to explode
Leave one wolf alive....and the sheep are never safe
and Michigan, as always, is a noon kickoff
Except when it is scheduled at 3:30pm...
Love Gus and Joel announcing.
I would of like to of seen a 3:30 start for this one. Just finishing a night would of been a great atmosphere and a great look. Oh well.....noon it is....
This is a perfect 3:30 game, Fox is starting to lose some of the cred they've built. Stop whoring out Ohio State to boost your pregame show ratings.
Have you're 11:30-12:00 slot be outside the stadium analyzing the days slate of games, then have the 3:00-3:30 slot be inside the stadium and strictly OSU-PSU pregame. Not hard.
"The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish" - Charlie Chaplin
“RPAC” is so Bourgeois. “Larkins” sounds so much better.
If noon is such a terrible time to play a game, then I wonder why Ohio State scheduled their non-TV games (yes there was such a thing!) for 1:30pm in the 1990's. Closer to noon than 3:30pm. Some of those were Big 10 games.
On Chickenshit Saturday, this should really be a 3:30 start. The only game of the day worth watching will be over by lunchtime on the West Coast.
Harbaugh is Michigan, Michigan is Harbaugh. They are together the ultimate con.
I prefer the later time slots. I get wayyy too drunk during the games and I'm not worth shit for the rest of the day anyhow.
Man, there's nothing better than getting up, letting the dogs out and feeding them, fixing a nice breakfast with a big cup of joe, and sitting down to watch the Buckeyes kick some tail. Spanish Springs, Nevada and loving the FOX noon starts - 9 a.m. here.
Noon games just don't fit with the biggest games. I do not like them. Especially if you are going to the game from a few hours away. I don't get how every time Ohio State plays at Penn State it is a night game and white out.
Booo. This deserves 3:30 or 7:00pm.
As a farmer I love noon kickoffs. Gives me something I care about to listen to in the combine or tractor.
I must be the only human being that's works Saturday's so a nooner for me means I'm setting the dvr and hoping nobody gives an update to ruin it for me. Being I live in Ohio that's nearly impossible. As long as we get the win who cares.GO BUCKEYES!!
In urbz we trust....
What if Minnesota beats Penn St this weekend ?
To those that are whining about home field advantage being negated due to the time slot: we should win because we're the better time regardless.
