CRAP - MOOB
The off season bites !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
Seattle Sounders 2019 MLS Champions
Friday news dump.
hope he doesn’t end up in State College...
Well that’s not ideal.
Fields of Dreams
Too bad, hopemthings work out well for him and for OSU.
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
Heading to Penn State to train with Snyder?
IT. WAS. A. FUMBLE.
Seems like a safe bet.
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
Well that sucks, hope the young man finds what he is looking for.
Is this guy the wrestling version of Tate Martell? Commit to 7 schools then transfer from another 3? Weak sauce
Our Honor Defend
Waiting to see pics of his girlfriend before making that assessment.
She’s ass, my dude.
Surgically precise use of that quote my dude!
It sounds like he has no idea what he wants from life. Good luck, young man, and God speed.
To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.
Maybe heading home to Minny? Maybe he knows something about the status of suspended Gable Stevenson. PSU Doesnt make a ton of sense since they have Freshmen Nevills waiting in the wings at HWT. Maybe back to Ok state
Cael doesn't care about anything but winning titles. Would not shock to see him recruit right over Nevills
Cael has done it before, and will do it again.
For all those people who thought Snyder going to Nittany Lions club was no big deal...
Pain of Discipline
Pain of Regret
Take Your Pick
Big deal or 'I want an excuse to whine and throw shade at a Buckeye legend".
Or maybe it’s ‘I don’t want to believe it’s true, so I’m going to call you names and veil it in school pride.’
“I am all that is man.” —Thorny
Good point.Something doesn't smell right and that's on Snyder for going to PSU.
Not surprising with Kyle leaving to the Nittany lions RTC and the opportunity to take an Olympic red shirt year. He decommitted twice before committing to us. With the Stevenson situation, he could be back at Minny or at State College unfortunately. Nevills can't defeat him. Sanderson doesn't care if Nevills transfers out. Chase will be at 197 next year after Kollin wins the Nationals.
There's no "big deal" that could actually ruin my emotion when it comes to wrestling. I hope we do well. If we don't then we don't.
Well that fucking sucks
This blows. I need a glass of Glenfiddich. Or, Glenlivet.
Macalllan is good too
Tough blow. Looking forward to future developments in this story.
OSU didn't execute and lost to horrible officiating. BOTH things can be true
well that is a kick in the nads.
Sounds like this young man is totally confused about where he wants to go to college. Hope that he figures it out and it goes well for him.
why does a wrestler have to go to school at all can't he just train at a top level place and compete at the highest level ...you don't have to "play school " to do that ...i mean lets face it alot of athletes playing sports in college aren't going there for the education ...
Sometimes wrestlers do that-there is an Olympic-post HS training center that is affiliated w/ Northern Michigan-the wrestlers take classes at N. Michigan, but train separately and compete in national events, not NCAA competition.
Because they need an education so they have a career when the wrestling is over. They don’t make millions like other pro athletes.
Greg K is someone you do not want giving you his word. Its worth about a gumball. Actually....you get to use the gumball when you buy it.
“We wish him the best,” Ohio State coach Tom Ryan told Eleven Warriors.
Sure you do, I love coach speak.
Wow...Good Luck...wishing you nothing but the best...thanks for the short dance...Go Bucks...
Time for some hard questions about the trend towards leaving. Not good at all.
The sky is falling for tOSU wrestling-you get on it and set them bugs straight.
All this talk about the Olympics; I thought they voted wrestling to be no longer part of the Games a few years ago in favor of some "new sports"? I know the wrestling community was trying to reverse this decision but haven't heard much about it recently. Andy; any news on this would be appreciated. Go Bucks!
The only hard day was yesterday
Wrestling is is Olympics for awhile. But it had to make concessions and that is one reason why Kyle left. One of the concessions was that in oder to keep women's wrestling, Greco Roman, and men's freestyle, fewer weight classes would be contended. So there are 2-3 less weight classes than Men's freestyle wrestles at the World Championships. This has forced a situation where 2 of the US world champions will be left out and those matches are gonna be insane. It left Kyle feeling a little desperate, not only to beat Sad from Russia, but to even make the team.
Snyder trains to be the best in history, not just to make the team. There isn’t an American alive that can hang with him two out of three. The move was made because of The Russian Tank and a series of close matches with wrestlers a tier below the Tank.
We will see. J'Den Cox would give Snyder everything he can handle.
"Great moments are born from great opportunities." - Herb Brooks
Yes, we will see. And no, he won't.
Talk about a bummer. With the Covelli Center opening it felt like the wrestling program had this huge momentum going into the season but then Snyder and now Kerkvliet have really taken the wind out of the sails. Tom Ryan and company will be fine though, just a temporary bump in the road.
It comes at a bad time since the Buckeyes were in decent position for AJ Ferrari, a highly touted upperweight. Are there any decent heavyweight prospects left on the table?
It seems like being a Buckeye is not all that important to this kid. Oh well, good luck I guess.

Now the recruitment and commitment of Nick Boykin makes more sense. When will he enroll?
