#43 OHIO STATE (-14.5) VS. #13 WISCONSIN Wisconsin
#20 IOWA (-10.5) @ NORTHWESTERN Northwestern
LIBERTY (-7.5) @ RUTGERS Liberty
#5 OKLAHOMA (-23.5) @ KANSAS STATE Oklahoma
#17 MINNESOTA (-16) VS. MARYLAND Minnesota
#2 LSU (-11.5) VS. #9 AUBURN LSU
#15 TEXAS (-1.5) @ TCU Texas
#6 PENN STATE (-6.5) @ MICHIGAN STATE Penn St.
#1 ALABAMA (-32.5) VS. ARKANSAS Arkansas
#19 MICHIGAN (-1) VS. #8 NOTRE DAME Michigan
Only 3 maybe 4 of these that I really like and that's Minnesota, Penn St., Texas and Michigan in that order.
5-5 last week, but I did well IRL (4-1) cashing LSU -19, Florida -4, SMU -8 and Minnesota -28.
The possibility of bad weather, and
The possibility of injuries to key players, and
The possibilty of teens not being zoned in, and.
The real fact that the "ball ain't round," so anything (fumbles, muffs, interceptions, bad bounces) can happen, tells you that betting on college football is a fool's game.

I agree for the most part, but there are people out there that make a living doing it. For me, it's a fun hobby that I don't put a lot of money in and I only bet football. I am 19-14 on the season and am up a whopping $72 if that's any indication of the amount I am betting.
Exactly, if I were betting I'd stay away from Michigan regardless. But especially this week, it is now a 100% chance of rain for most of the game, which in my opinion is a nightmare scenario for Michigan. The backs had trouble holding onto the ball in 60/70 degree sunny days, and Shea Patterson is still the QB. If it's raining for most of the game, you can count on at least 3 turnovers from Michigan. I don't expect them to win in the rain, I gave them a decent chance if it doesn't.
When did we fall all the way to #43?
Leave one wolf alive....and the sheep are never safe
OHinTN probably just pulled up Clay Travis’ rankings by mistake.
That's what blowing out NW gets ya.
I've noticed that Werthheim (whoever he is) did not pick OSU against Northwestern, Sparty, or Nebraska. I'm relieved to see he is not picking us again! LOL
Might want to jump on the OSU train at some point but I guess not this week. LOL
He's picked against the Buckeyes (against the spread) in every pick as long as he's been doing this.
Welcome to 11W.
Last year I believe the Buckeyes failed to cover about 75% of the time. Not sure where they fall all time, but that might explain why.

Lot of national people like MSU this week, but I'm with most the 11W staff. Penn State may be slightly overrated, but this is just a bad MSU team.
Having the bye week to get healthy and put in some new wrinkles vs PSU coming off a knock-down drag-out with TTUN probably has some thinking MSU should be able to at least keep it close and cover the spread.
But me? I wouldn't want to put $ anywhere near either of those 2 teams. They're both too inconsistent.
“The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men to do what he wants done, and self-restraint enough to keep from meddling with them while they do it.” – Theodore Roosevelt
State might keep it close, they might even pull the upset and here's why. PSU won't be able to run the ball, and Sparty isn't as dumb as Don Brown. They will be doubling Hamler, or at least have a safety helping over the top. I think Sparty can pass on PSU with just as much success as Michigan did, but the weather could also play a factor. I believe it's supposed to rain a little later in the game like the 2nd half, which would also favor State because they'll have better success on the ground. PSU isn't very good, that's why as a Michigan fan I refuse to be happy that they fought back like so many fans are. That was a golden opportunity wasted by a ridiculous 1st half effort. Yet all Harbaugh wants to do is cry about refs instead of taking blame for how the team came out and played.
#3 OHIO STATE (-14.5) VS. #13 WISCONSIN - Ohio State (not by much...34-17)
#20 IOWA (-10.5) @ NORTHWESTERN - Iowa
LIBERTY (-7.5) @ RUTGERS - Liberty Liberty LIIIBERTY LIIIBERTY
#5 OKLAHOMA (-23.5) @ KANSAS STATE - Oklahoma
#17 MINNESOTA (-16) VS. MARYLAND - Minnesota
#2 LSU (-11.5) VS. #9 AUBURN - Auburn covers, LSU wins straight up
#15 TEXAS (-1.5) @ TCU Texas - Texas
#6 PENN STATE (-6.5) @ MICHIGAN STATE - PSU
#1 ALABAMA (-32.5) VS. ARKANSAS - Arkansas covers, Alabama wins straight up
#19 MICHIGAN (-1) VS. #8 NOTRE DAME - Notre Dame*
* - how can you have a 1 point spread in college football? The NFL can have 1 point spreads because you can have games end in a tie, but that can't happen in college. Anyway, yeah, Notre Dame is my pick to not just cover but do so by the most of anyone on this list.
Class of 2010.
Man I hate those Liberty commercials. My gut says Rutgers will step up after being called out, but my head says they're still bad enough to lose at home again.
How about a 24-23 final and it becomes a push??
2 great weeks, 2 bad weeks. This week should be a little easier, or I would think so. Alabama will be without Tua, LSU plays at home. Weather forecast for OSU is up and down, so is the pointspread in my mind. I'm going with a little rain in the second half, after OSU has built up a lead. So yes, they should cover. MSU and Northwestern will win outright, UM game is a toss up. Liberty over Rutgers with 7 points? No way, no how. Rutgers wins easily
"When you're part of a team, you stand up for your teammates. Your loyalty is to them. You protect them through good and bad, because they'd do the same for you." Yogi Berra
No weather the buckeyes cover and then some. If the second half is rainy with delays it may just turn into lets get out of here with a w and no injuries. I still think we will win 49-17. A second half monsoon could make it closer like 38-17.
Minnesota will win but I don't think they will cover.
I like Iowa, Penn St, Alabama and Texas to win and cover. No idea on liberty and Rutgers.
TTUN lol unless they only plan on giving up a safety they aint winning that game. 20-3 ND.
49-17 or 38-17 is “just getting out with a W”?
We could score 60+ on Wisconsin in good weather conditions. So ya instead of running the score up if the weathers bad we may just run the ball, keep it bland and move on with a victory. Wisconsins good but 38-17 would be getting by with a W. Our defense is elite and so is our offense. Their offense is horrible, they will ground and pound their way to a couple Td's maybe, but if our defense lets their offense get more then 17 its because they had an off day. They only scored 23 on ILLINOIS. Im not saying it cant or wont be a close game, but our talent and coaching by itself is at least 3 TD's better than Wisconsin.
OSU is far and away the best team in the Big10 no doubt. I don't know yet if I would say your defense is elite though. It's certainly playing better than last year's, and you have elite players in certain positions. It's definitely good enough to stifle Wisconsin's one dimensional offense. Mattison is doing what I thought he would do for your defense. Make them fundamentally sound. I haven't watched a ton of OSU this year, but I bet there hasn't been alot of missed assignments defensively. OSU won't have the problems Michigan did stopping the run. I still don't understand what the hell the defense was looking at. Anyways, offensively no doubt your elite, and although Wisconsin's defense is a confident bunch, they haven't seen an offense like yours all season. I don't expect this game to be close, my guess is like 42-21... Wisky gets a late garbage TD.
Buckeyes because we are awesome.
Sparty because Dantonio is awesome.
TTUN because ND isn’t due to be in the CFP until 2023 again. (Committee’s every 5 year ND present).
Last year was no way, shape or form a present. They were 12-0 and absolutely deserved in. Nobody on the face of this planet who follows CFB could argue.
Any other top 10 team would have gotten in 12-0 w NDs schedule.
ND finished 2018 with the 32nd ranked Offense and 23rd ranked defense.
It wasnt even close to being one of the best 4 teams in the country.
Sorry mr TOSU. 32 and 23 isn’t bad. They ran the table. Period. And didn’t lose by 30. We didn’t deserve it if that’s what you are alluding to. It’s called reality. An undefeated ND team gets in EVERY time whether you like it or not.
Exactly. ND drops 1 game, depending on who it's to, and you definitely have an argument especially seeing how they get to avoid playing in a conference championship game. Still, you put that ND team in the Big10 last year they aren't going 12-0. They hung on to beat Michigan in Patterson's very first game, I would even argue Michigan could've beat them if they played them later in the year like they do this year, and Michigan sucks. OSU would've probably beat ND by at least 2 tds as well, but there's no way an undefeated ND gets left out.
In reality, ND wasnt rewarded for its onfield performance, but mostly its luck of the draw with its schedule. Any other top 10 team too would have ran the table w that same schedule.
I guarantee you ND was the the only team EVER that made CFP or even BCS NC being outside of the top 20 in either Offense or its Defense national ranking. Its PROOF ND WRONGLY OVERRATED as always.
Yes they were. You are just a homer and clueless!!!
They had the 13th toughest schedule last year.
I’m sure you will spin that somehow
Please dont deflect.
Last year ND had the 30th ranked offense and 39th ranked defense. That was the only team EVER outside of top 20 in both offense and defense to ever make a CFP or BCS NC. Its a joke.
Northwestern wakes up, upsets Iowa. Rutgers wins by 14. After the teams they've played, Liberty should be an easy win.
K-State will be within 14 of OK. Auburn upsets LSU by 6. Spartans by 6 over PSU. Buckeyes by 17 over the Badgers. Irish win by 4 in the Big House.
Upset Saturday for PSU, LSU and Iowa.
I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. I'm trying to win football games-- Woody Hayes
Wow. Can we do a side bet?
I want to see Bama beaten by a 2-loss Auburn, so LSU to win, but not cover!
Here your lock : take the 50points under on Osu/Wisky. Enjoy....shitty weather hard to move the ball and more redzone turnovers...Buck33 - Badgers 6
Taz, You better hope the crappy weather comes before the 2nd quarter, when Ohio State has scroed most of its points!
Man idk, what are the chances of rain in Columbus? I expect OSU to not have much trouble scoring on Wisconsin. Pundits seem to think Wisky has a legit defense, I don't buy it especially after last week. Besides, the best offense Wisconsin has faced maybe not statistically wise but talent wise was Michigan, so ya their defense hasn't seen a real offense lol. I would take the over because I could see it being like 38-7 or something and Wisconsin gets a garbage TD. My original prediction was 42-21 with Wisconsin getting to 21 late in the game.
You say “Rutgers Is home underdog “
check the line again. They are favorite.
You need to check it. Liberty is favored
A lot of good Football Saturday. Hoping we do better than expected. Cautiously confident.
as much as i dislike ND i hope they maul the Shitheads up north by 5 td's ....
No! We need ND with a second loss. Don’t let your emotions get in the way of common sense
Why do you need ND to have a 2nd loss? I would think OSU with 1 loss would go as a conference champion over ND. I really don't think ND gets in ever unless they go undefeated. That loss to Georgia looked about as good as a loss can look, until Georgia lost. The way OSU is beating teams, I don't think you're going to lose to be honest. The defense is the difference this year, you're not going to let an inferior team go crazy on your defense. There's not a Big10 team that can keep pace with your offense. I know the games are played for a reason and anything can happen, but barring an injury or like a disastrous 5 turnover game, you're not losing. Your best chance to lose is in Ann Arbor. Think about that for a minute lol.
At home night game in AA with 100% chance of rain for the entire game, glad I didn't decide to go. Most likely will be a comedy of errors. I expect Charbonnet to fumble in the rain, and Patterson will be good for a fumble or 2 and a pick. If ND can hang onto the ball, they won't have to do much to win. Michigan will give them the game in the rain. There's no doubt in my mind. The Sparty game 2 years ago I believe with Okorn and company, it only rained for a half and I think Michigan had like 5 interceptions. Patterson can barely take care of the ball on a nice warm dry day. Cold and rainy? I'd be shocked if Michigan plays mistake free.
