49ers DL is legit, but the Back 7 of their D isn't so much. Hopefully they decided to double and triple OBJ like Baltimore did, we've seen that story play out nicely.
I’m a browns fan but already accepted I’ll be happy for Bosa when he dominates a lackluster O line tonight
Sorry, cannot go there any more than when the Browns play the Steelers and you have Hayward and previously Shazier on the other side. For that game they are the enemy.
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
Precisely why my college football fandom will always trump my NFL fandom. I can't root against Buckeyes and they are all over in the NFL.
I understand. If they can have a great game and the Browns still win I can go with that. Although i might struggle with even that if they are playing for the Ravens. My hatred of them goes much deeper than for any other team.
Looking to see which team is real tonight. Have saved some money so far this year with the Browns being on national tv for 3 games so I did not have to go to a bar. That ends tonight except for the Thursday night game against Pittsburgh.
Go Brownies! We need this win.
Cleveland 24 - SF 20
Fields of Dreams
Browns for the win. Hoping that the O-line plays better tonight than they did against the Rams

This feels like a must win with the Pats and Seahawks up next. If we can get through the next 3 games at 1-2 (3-4 overall), I think we are in an OK spot in the division. If we can somehow go 2-1 (4-3 overall), I'm loving our chances at the division.
Only teams on the last 9 games we play with winning records are home games vs Baltimore and Buffalo. Every other team is either winless (Bengals x2 and Miami) or has 1 win (Zona, Denver, Pitt x2). 7-2, or better, is very attainable. 3 - 4 after New England makes 10-6 a real possibility.
Bosa should have a strong game against the Browns mediocre line..however, Browns still find a way to get the W #SuperBowl
Let’s not forget about our remaining division mates not yet discussed in this thread
I'm okay with going 0-16 if it means Dalton has played himself out of a contract and off the team. We finally got rid of Marvin Lewis, so I'm satisfied for a few years.
The AFC north is a mess this year.
Tanking for Tua down there?
Tuning in just to see if Bosa plants Baker like a flag at the 50 yard line...
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches

Go Brownies. Need to get this win with Seattle and New England looming.
Will DJ Byrnes still be drinking spicy margaritas out of the skull of Art Modell? Tune in tonight (and mute the TV FFS Booger McFarland is horrendous on the mic)
Leave one wolf alive....and the sheep are never safe
Go Browns, but I'll take one Mayfield sack from Bosa on the side.
Hindsight is, and in, 2020
How about Bosa gets Garrett Gilbert after the Browns are up by 30 in the 4th, then we all win.
Works for me.
I need a chubb to have a respectable game to hold the lead in my fantasy matchup. Needs to outscore Kittles by .4. Let’s go Chubb!
Your first sentence had me chuckling.
Let's Go Bucks
speaking of...is Penix back for indiana?
I need Baker to absolutely go off tonight. I'm 30 points behind in my Fantasy matchup. Please, Baker, be a beast tonight!
That's a Buckeye touchdown!
Well.... that went as well as I hoped for....
Go Browns! As others have noted above this is a big game with the next few opponents looming. I also think the novelty of playing in primetime has worn off for me. Staying up past midnight on Sunday and Monday nights is tough the next day!
So I see I am not the only one day drinking, should be primed by game time. Browns 27-24!
Go Browns (don’t tell Drew Brees or Mike Thomas), but another NFC team with a loss helps me.
Man….. this football team.-Jeff Okudah
Both teams have good Dlines and shaky Olines. Both teams have QBs who can get the ball out quick but have struggled with accuracy. Both teams have banged up secondaries as well.
Browns have to worry about George Kittle. If they can keep him from having a huge game, I like the Browns chances.
Here's hoping Kitchens doesn't do what Zac Taylor did yesterday and run the ball like 10 straight times and then look bewildered why the passing game couldn't get going. TONS of data that shows if you don't get WRs touches early you tend to lose them and your passing game gets out of whack. Get Chubb some carries but make sure OBJ gets targeted that first series..
Hoping for a good game with some touchdowns and no field goals.. these night games have been all FGs lately... booooo..
lol at comparing the browns to anything going on for the bengals
mixon with an extra game (before tonight) has 156 less yards than our boy nick.
if the browns run into playcalling snafus it’s going to be calling for anything but quick hits or crosses if baker is running for his life
He has been running for his life, oh and getting sacked. Super bowl my ass, at least Bengals fans have accepted our fate. The Browns brought in a whole bunch of firepower and are getting skull drug, just like the Bengals on national TV. Baker sucks face it.
“I don’t know what Tegridy is but that is some GOOD S#/+.”- Towelie
Browns are getting waxed, it happens. If we start losing to teams like the Cardinals I’ll worry.
Lol @people want to compare on the road against after tonight 4-0 team to the winless cardinals.
Lol @ you logamaniac your Browns still suck.
Haha what’s coming?
yeah tonight was a strange coming together of a lot of random bad things at once. Tipping up a sure touchdown on the goal line into an INT, a whole heck of a lot of dropped passes and obj’s fumble just to name a few.
But, again of course, they didn’t happen against a winless team.
Man I hope you know I'm just poking at you all. I'm a Buckeye fan first the NFL is more of something to pass my time anymore. I find doing homework (in college at age 44) on Sunday keeps my mind off of all things, professional Ohio football namely. I just wanted to make sure, I miss a little trash talking Monday and or Tuesday mornings while I was in the Army. Anyway, yeah the Bengals suck but so does Baker.
Nah I enjoy a good ribbing and can dole some out from time to time so I enjoy our back and forth. The trolls are the ones that grind my gears.
Just making sure, I did 20 in the Army and I am just now getting back into college, holy crap what happened? People can't take it. I just don't get it oh well Bosa shrug.... oops too soon ;D
Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. has played on Monday Night Football nine times; in those nine games, he has 57 catches for 916 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 7, 2019
That seems like a good thing
With Higgins and Callaway back, I'm thinking the 49ers are going to be in a world of hurt if they Focus on OBJ as much as the Ravens did.
Could be a big night for #13.
Is Ward healthy for tonight's game or still out?
Buckeyes & Blue Jackets.
Both he and greedy were out from what I read today. Still nursing the hammies
Ward and Greedy Williams are not playing again due to their hamstring injuries.
As a Niner fan, Eff the Browns.
i hope Bosa takes that flag, shines it up reeeeeal nice and shoves it straight Bakers candy ass.
If ya smell what Jimmy G is cookin
"Live life with no regrets, that's my motto.....well....that and 'Everybody Wang Chung Tonight'"
Browns 27-23 winners and I win this weeks pool----GO BROWNS!
Enjoying daily the back to back ttun beatdowns.
Do we need a game thread or will this one do?
In the NFL, does the short toss on the jet sweep not count as a pass? If so, it would have been two passes on that first play.
Booger Mac is gonna make me mute this game
My wife asked how you can take a guy seriously who willingly uses Booger as a stage name.
MNF had such a history of interesting and/or entertaining announcers. And then there are these two guys.
Joe Tessitore probably has 50 cats and 1 dirty litterbox at his house
That's not ideal
The Browns could have used Ward on the field for that run since he may have had the speed to catch him.
Didn’t show up ready to play
Bosa out for blood for that flag planting
Not the best start. They need to settle down, get a stop here on d and get the crowd out of the game
A long drive then would've been good. They need to establish the run with Chubb.
Once a Buckeye, Always a Buckeye
Gotta put pressure on #10
The off season bites !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
Seattle Sounders 2019 MLS Champions
Your wish was granted.
Gotta keep it going
Nope. We will have to keep hoping.
WHAT A PUNT
69 yards nice
As a browns fan I really hope we pull this game out. But honestly part of me hopes bosa absolutely demolishes Mayfield for 2017
The Future is Bright at Ohio State
It’s real early in this game. I’m liking what I’m seeing right now. It’s gonna be a battle!
IT. WAS. A. FUMBLE.
Are you still liking what you're seeing? Embarrassing.
Well I’m a diehard Buckeye fan! But I live in Northern California for the last 35 years. But I’m not looking to rub anything in anywhere. I still love the Browns and root for them all the time except when they play the 49ers
My God... Cleveland is just gonna get completely blown out tonight. Remember how accurate Baker was supposed to be coming out of Oklahoma? Where the heck has that guy gone? All he seems to do is throw INTs and other inaccurate passes. Also, it's good to see the team continues to have play killing penalties. All this talent and we're about to be embarrassed, once again, on national television. Good job.
Niners are a legit championship caliber team. We will see if the Browns are too.
Narrator: They were not.
Well this is an unmitigated disaster so far...ugh.
Browns playing like ass, my dudes
It seems more and more likely that Baker Mayfield = Johnny Manziel 2.0
Start looking for ANOTHER franchise quarterback.
Too soon for that, I think. John Dorsey is a smart man, he saw something in Mayfield. Apples and oranges with these guys.
Perhaps as far as legal issues certain personality problems. But Baker is more mouth than skill, like Manziel. And he seems to have the same inability to read and react to defenses. All this talent is being wasted.
Lol you’re a joke
Cocky, energetic, overrated DUD.
Well this sucks.
Let’s get a score here and get back in this thing.
There's your opening Brownies...drive it down and score for Pete's sake.
Booger loves Nick Bosa
As Spielman would say "don't get stuck on blocks"... the Bosa's do a good job of living that motto.
On the board
Mayfield is inaccurate as hell. Yank him. I'm over it.
Are you somehow not seeing the 49ers living in the backfield so far? Hard to be accurate when you’re constantly running for your life
The O line is not getting it done other than last week.
Yes, I'm seeing Baker having to move around a lot. But I'm also seeing him consistently miss totally open receivers high and behind. This isn't the undersized but accurate passer we were sold when he came out of Oklahoma.
Just say you don’t understand the game, you won’t have to type so much
I can see bad throws. You keep believing in the Tooth Fairy and maybe she'll help Baker win that Super Bowl we're looking for.
Everyone can see bad throws, morons don’t realize you’ll be inaccurate if you can’t set your feet
Looks like you forgot the "E" in "CTEBuckeyeFan". I pray your obvious concussion gets better soon.
Wow, good one........
It almost feels like our Lamar fan has returned
Keep talking up the 49ers line Booger. Let Myles prove you wrong.
Nick Chubb determines this offense. Instead of picking up OBJ, maybe we should have spent money on better OL talent.
Oh look... another penalty.
That feels like it could only happen to one team...
Let’s wait for some football guru to blame Mayfield for that
Callaway has to make that catch. That’s not on Baker.
A drop like that is enough to drive a man to drink.. or smoke. Uh oh.
Definitely on Callaway
Solid play from Calloway! That's how you help out your struggling QB.
At least I'll be able to go to bed earlier than expected.
I want to dolphin dive out of my apartment window watching the mistakes from this team.
This is definitely where I parked my car.
Now it’s time to see what this team is made of. As bad as this game has been, they can still get things going here.
Bosa just murdered Bitonio to get to Baker
Bosa double teamed and still gets the sack.
Can’t believe Baker didn’t get an accurate pass off there
Another penalty. Followed by a batted ball. Followed by a sack. Classic Cleveland Browns offense. At least we're consistent.
Our O-Line stinks.
Bosa just planted the flag on Baker holy shit
Browns fan here, but that was awesome
I don't think bosa has forgotten what Baker did.
Someone got their wish. Bosa just planted a flag.
Did they set up TVs outside so the large homeless population could watch this?
That was great. Nice job bosa!!!!! Lol
looks liike I will lose the weekly pool if this keeps up.
Karma can be a bitch
Nick Bosa planting the flag
I saw Ryan Day hang 62 on Michigan...His hair was perfect.
Go Buckeyes Beat Michigan
Bosa shit all over Baker
I’ve been seeing a lot of Buckeye fans and media mentioning that Chase Young is better than either Bosa. Based on what I’ve seen this year and tonight, that may be premature!!!!!!
All 3 are elite
Not going to lie, not happy the Browns are getting murdered but what Bosa did was awesome
Here's the video
And Nick Bosa plants the flag, do to speak pic.twitter.com/xd3PSwf910
— Tim May (@TIM_MAYsports) October 8, 2019
My feelings exactly.
Nick Bosa exposing this offensive line for the complete sh*t show that it is. Embarrassing.
Die hard Browns fan here... The flag planting thing reminded me that Bosa is still just a rookie. I'm glad he's taking full credit for the course of this game right now because he's basically single-handedly winning the game
Kitchens game plan - If they have a great D line, run the longest developing pass plays known to mankind. Worked against the rams right?
This Nick Bosa kid is pretty good at football and stuff.
So, are we at the point, now, where we stop rooting for Cleveland tonight and just hope for Bosa to set some sort of rookie sack or TFL record?
LOL. This team. LOL
2-3...the Browns arent dead yet. Look like it tonight, but there are 11 games left, 3 more months. They are starting to run out of mulligans, for sure.
Unless the Browns have three good OL players waiting in the wings to start the rest of the season, this year is gonna play out just as we're seeing. We'll hang with and possibly beat bad to average teams... and get completely demolished by good teams. Good Lord - what will the next two games against Seattle and New England look like? An obvious 2-5 record going into November.
Yeah. Might be. Hope not. The offensive line play and untimely penalties are making them look like a poorly coached team.
At least the Scottish Hammer is doing his job.
Browns putting on a "how not to tackle" clinic. AFC North is garbage...
Browns need some tackling practice this week.
And some toughness practice... Kittle looks like a 30 year old dude blocking 12 year olds..
Browns defense has mentally checked out. Seems like 1/2 the defense is either winded or going through the motions.
Don't forget the three new offensive linemen, two new DBs (who aren't injury prone) and a new head coach that they also need this week.
Kitchens is looking like a bust. Same thing every play. He looks over and over his play card... and then it's "everybody go LONG"
Looks like a homeless person. Should shave/bathe.
Going to need to clean up the sloppy o-line play and defense against the run before the playoffs otherwise this might not be the year for a Browns Super Bowl
They just need to bite the bullet and make the trade for Trent Williams.
Looks like kitchens needs to invest some Madden ultimate boost points to every receiver’s hand ratings
I can't wait to hear Kitchens standing at the podium telling us all how he's not concerned and that no one is panicking.
I get it you’re trolling but it’s annoying
Trolling is when you're not serious about what you're saying, but just looking for a reaction. I'm 100% serious about what I'm saying. NFL teams have a window for success. We have young talent still on their rookie contracts along with several very expensive free agents. The clock is ticking and this is rapidly showing itself to be a wasted year. This team needs a sense of urgency, and Kitchens sure hasn't exemplified that so far.
Shut the fuck up I looked at your history and everything you post is Browns critical. That’s clinical trolling.
Come on, now. Use your big boy words.
Yes. Everything I've posted tonight is critical of the Browns. HAVE YOU NOT SEEN THIS SH*T SHOW?
The worst thing for the Browns is Gregg Williams knowing Baker's kryptonite. Baker will get better but WIlliams saw it over and over in practice last year that if you show Baker one look pre-snap and then move to another after the snap he doesn't handle that well. That wasn't known outside the Browns last season but Williams let the world know when the Browns played the Jets this season...
Booger sounds like he is also Bosa's agent.
It's better than him trying to predict the next play call lol
Going to need an APB on Bosa for murder... yeeks, he may kill Baker before this is over..
Should have been flagged for hands to the face mask of Robinson
It was nice to hear Booger give a shoutout to Larry Johnson's coaching.
Browns OL are going to wake up in cold sweats thinking Nick is coming for them.
You know your fucked when your WR has a higher qbr then the QB.
Baker would probably have a better catch rate than his receivers tonight on the other hand. Obj has what 2 catches 2 drops on 4 targets last I saw
Interesting that Booger basically said that the problem for Haskins is coaching ... at Washington. He complimented OSU coaches which is twice in 10 minutes that this SEC guy and wingman for Paul F. did so.
Why did they put OBJ back there to return punts? He doesn't have that as a regular role and then trying too hard to make a play. Not a good look for Kitchens on that decision even if OBJ asked to do so.
Be interesting to see if OBJ starts to check out after this game. I feel like Landry's job has been to keep him involved and positive about his Cleveland experience. But this sadness is really tough for even a fully committed Browns player.
Bosa should have 3 sacks this game.
Wow. And Garrett Gilbert enters the game. I guess there's no reason to get Baker injured at this point. Be safe out there, Garrett. Godspeed.
That was the "easy" part of the Browns schedule and they ended up 2-3. Seattle, New England at Denver and a MUCH better Bills team the next four.. they could easily be 2-7 heading into the Steelers game in week 11..
They goofed with Kitchens... he's in over his head and looks straight lost and he's going to lose this team ( if he hasn't already)..
I don't see how he survives much longer..
Huh I literally saw a statistic that after Seattle or NE they have like the 2nd or 3rd “easiest” schedule in the league.
They have an easy schedule for the season but Jets/Titans to start was as easy as it gets.. but the thinking was always somehow get to 4-1 before NE and Seatle and at Denver.. meant you could go into the Buffalo game at worst .500 and have Miami and Arizona to pad the stretch run..
At 2-3 though it could be a freefall. You start 4-1 and lose the next 3 and it's let's regroup... you start 2-3 and lose the next 3 and it's let's fire the coach..
That was not the easy part of the browns schedule. That was the hard part and it continues for the next 2 games. Bills haven’t beaten a good team yet.
Post game interviews should be interesting.
O line not very good, but Baker not very good either, very over rated and can't handle the cocky ass he is and deserves everything that comes his way from his bravado
Go do some more commercials, Baker!
Before the season started, I had us going 11-5. Optimistically, I now see us struggling to get to 8-8 for the season. Wasted year.
Week 1 Titans - L (0-1)
Week 2 @Jets - W (1-1)
Week 3 Rams - L (1-2)
Week 4 @Ravens - W (2-2)
Week 5 @49ers - L (2-3)
Week 6 Seahawks - L (2-4)
Week 7 BYE
Week 8 @Patriots - L (2-5)
Week 9 @Denver - W (3-5)
Week 10 Bills - L (3-6)
Week 11 Steelers - W (4-6)
Week 12 Dolphins - W (5-6)
Week 13 @Steelers - L (5-7)
Week 14 Bengals - W (6-7)
Week 15 @Cardinals - W (7-7)
Week 16 Ravens - L (7-8)
Week 17 @Bengals - W (8-8)
As bad as the Browns looked tonight, I now have hope my Broncos can get a W against them.
Glad I went to bed instead of sitting up to watch that joke
Hate to say it it but our boy Denzel misses quite a bit of playing time, maybe he's just too soft.Your paid the big bucks now.Peppers looked good last season and was solid and is playing good in NY.Maybe the Browns should have kept him and drafted a bigger more NFL ready CB.Down vote now
