56-7 he ain't wrong
Appreciate these reads, and understand it's difficult when the match-up is decidedly one-sided.
I think the Redhawks (and Buckeyes) can learn much from Saturday's game, both in who they are and who they can be.
Baratti won’t have to punch himself this week as Dobbins and Teague will do it for him.
Just posting and hoping my comment isn’t deleted.
He forgot the "1"
156 - 7.
He accidentally typed "7"
156 - 0.
And that's without Ditka on the sideline. Maybe he was driving the team bus.
I survived Cooper, and I hate Tai Streets.
The best-case scenario would be for Gabbert to lead two or three long RedHawk scoring drives
I'm sorry, but I just don't see this happening.
Clearly Chris doesn’t either based on his predicted score.
I see a goose egg on the right side of the score. I can't fathom a touchdown against the D. Unless another trick play gets us or special teams. First team offense goes 0-60 in 4.5 plays. Second team really slows down. 63-3 with second team scoring 14 in second half.
Honestly.....Prayers for no injuries to either team.
Are Miami of Ohio students more fans of OSU football than their own team? I'm guessing probably so like a lot of people I know who went to smaller Ohio colleges.
As a grad of Ohio U during the years where they won 3 games per year, the answer is yes. I was planted firmly at the bar watching OSU games with half of the campus while the local college team was getting smacked around down the road.
Yeah same here. I went to a div 3 college out of state and during college football season I would be watching ESPN gameday with all the other cfb junkies. It was unusual because we all followed our home state teams so it was a random assortment of fans. When I went to school in the early 90's the dorms didn't have cable in each room. There was 1 tv for the whole dorm in the common room. So it was sitting in front of that tv all day on Saturday.
Yes, even during the Roethlisberger years it was Ohio State first, Miami second.
As a Miami grad AND a student athlete I can tell you I was 100% buckeye for football. All other sports it was down with the poisonous nuts! If Miami would have somehow pulled off an upset football win I don’t think I would have been as upset as I was when Illinois beat osu in 2007. I didn’t wear Ohio state gear around campus because I made that mistake on my first trip to our athletic facilities and had a strength coach chew me up one side and down the other.
As a Miami grad my answer would be yes, and I don't think I would have been alone in that sentiment in Oxford.
Even 2 weeks ago when I met a lot of Cincy students before and after the game most were totally fine with OSU winning

If there is a "7" in their pts column, it will come late in the 2nd half when our 3's and 4's are in.
I don't see the 1's and 2's on this D allowing that to happen. Unless they don't take this opponent seriously and are mentally off.
At least Miami is getting paid for the beatdown. Unlike Georgia Southern getting paid to beat the Vols or Appy State and Michigan

and they have never beaten the rival Cincinnati Bearcats
I always thought OU was their rival. Or is this a Michigan/Michigan State thing "Our real rival is MSU not OSU..."?
When I attended OU 87-92, Miami Redskins were definitely our rival. Though we did have a thing with Ball State in basketball that I never understood.
OU was a rival but cinci is “the rival”. It used to be OU but I think the bearcat success and proximity to Oxford has changed that.
OU is the conference rival (Battle of the Bricks, and I think there was a US 50 name at one point); UC is the proximity rival (Victory Bell).
I’d pump the brakes on some of these scores. Assuming we build a 28 or 30 point lead at the half, Fields will or damn sure better, sit. Until Chug or Hoak prove they can put points on the board, in the absence of PRs or other breakaway runs, the second half scoring could be light.
You have me laughing. This was a 6-6 MAC team last year. Im expecting 28-30 pt lead after 1Q.
I'm travelling this weekend and seriously doubt I'll find this game on in Dallas.
Nothing cleanses the soul like a no call pass interference.
Its on BTN. And just search sports bars in DFW area where Buckeye clubs watch games. You will find it without a doubt.
Most Dallas sports bars will have the game. BWW certainly will. For alumni official gathering spots here you go. Laissez les bon temps rouler

Final score: Ohio State 56, Miami 7
What a homer./s
I don't give a damn for the whole state of Xichigan.

Would love to see 6+ sacks from the DL. Feasible given the circumstances.
At last, Kerry had cracked open his first Red Bull with an impatient delight. And the rest, as they say, was history.
56-7 will do, but the score that I care most about is OSU 85 - Injuries 0.
