Great game by the Buckeyes. If I remember correctly the one sack the Buckeyes gave up was great protection and Fields held the ball too long.
1 sack was a coverage sack as Fields had all the time in the world but no WR or TE was open to throw it to. Fields should have gotten out of the pocket and thrown the ball away.
Great game though, still haven't seen their full potential which is really scary.
It always seems impossible until it's done.
He should have gotten out of the pocket and weaved through the defense untouched for a spectacular rushing touchdown*
Dobbins never left... new offensive line, not splitting carries, and a running threat at QB. Should be a solid year for him as long as the o line continues to grow... also I love the way MTIII runs with bad intentions
All Glory is Fleeting
Dobbins is regaining the moves he had as a freshman. It was really awesome to see and Chambers and Teague are beasts and will be great RBs next year.
Fields made really good decisions throughout most of the game as well. It was the type of game I think Buckeye fans were expecting last week.
He’s regaining his moves because Master Teague lll is on his ass.
Reminds me of Dobbins clipping at Weber’s heels just a couple of years ago
He’s added some moves he never had as a freshman, mostly the ability to resist unnecessary juking and cutting..just hitting the lane and taking it 60 yards to the house
I was at the game and Teague looked like a man running the ball.

This was an incredible game by the Buckeyes. Either Cincinnati's defense is not as good as advertised or Ohio State's offense is the best in the nation!
Let's hope for best in the nation.
Check the boxes, trending in the right direction.
Got M...igan gossip? Bang it here.
Anybody see Spartans unis for their game????? GROSS!
You should make a forum post about it.
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.
Benjamin Victor looked very good today!
Yeah, and getting some decent yac. Had one really great catch while being well defended.
Was thinking the same thing
Got a gif ?
Didn't realize how much I missed the Silver Bullets

So, how were the other five obtained?

Not sure about the tots balance, but I’m guessing penalties gave us a few.
Penalty would be my guess
The biggest surprise is that this question wasn’t anticipated and addressed in the article
I was thinking that at first as well. But then thought about penalties.
Oh how I love our bullets. Silver and cold-blooded to send Fick back wounded hearted. Never again shall we look to have Schiano or Grinch because nepotism isn't the play when in a defensive pinch. Be gone once and for all nepotistic urges and welcome to the hell brought upon our foes upon deep cleansing purges. No more Bill Davis, no more hesitation no more overthinking just playing fast with bad intentions. FINALLY!!!

The last two Nati seasons we played UC. Just sayin.
I think I read somewhere that three of the last four times OSU played UC, they went on to play for a national championship.

So what were the Keys to the 3 Key stats of: 1. sacks, 2. big plays, and 3. yards on 1st down?
Ua Mau ke Ea o ka 'Aina I ka Pono. The life of the land is preserved in righteousness. (Hawai'i state motto) Aloha nui kakou.
The stats from this game are going help OSU significantly in S&P+ ratings.
Ruthless first down efficiency, and great succes on third downs.
They scored on 6 of 10 actual drives (not accounting for running out the clock at the end of both halves). TD drives of 41, 87, 61, 88, 54 and 55 yards; they rarely had a "short field", but continued to score TDs.
They scored five of their six trips inside the Red Zone, something that was a huge problem at times last season.
Defensively, the sacks, hurries, turnovers and incomplete passes will elevate the Buckeyes' havoc rate. And the shutout against a better than average team is always huge from an analytics perspective.
I really really like the way Teague runs.
