Georgia fans still gonna say Jake Fromm is faster

Can they catch him? No they can't, touchdown.

Georgia fans think Fromm is definitely:

Has better hands

Works harder

Will more likely end up as a WR for the Patriots

High and tight boo boo

For a guy we don't want to see run too much...

Go Buckeyes.

Hindsight is, and in, 2020

His stats will likely be insane by the end of the game.

"His stats will likely be insane by the end of the game half.

If this keeps up, he might not play much of the second half.

Upvotes, upvotes for everybody.  Covering the spread less than 10 minutes into the game.  This has been quite a 10 minutes of football.

Sadly, “Covering the spread” only counts at the end of the game.

I missed the first 15 minutes of the game and those first two perfect summary, thanks!

2nd quarter was brutal, too many mental mistakes.

CCatanzaro's picture

That defense, though...

Dairy-fed intellect and pure, unhinged sass.

another-navy-buckeye's picture

That's exactly what it is.  Mental mistakes and not a lot of experience yet for Fields just yet.  He'll learn, and hopefully we can make some adjustments.

Blessed to be a Buckeye

2 Buck turnovers.

Time of possession:

FAU 14:39

1st half over. 1st game for Fields. 1st HC debut.

Now for 2nd half adjustments.

Started out great on both sides of the ball, obviously.  But it'd be hard to say we've been anything other than very sloppy offensively since.  Especially, against a clearly inferior opponent.

It would seem FAU's defensive coaches are making better adjustments than our offensive coaches at this point.  Hopefully, that'll change soon.

Defensively, I'm quite impressed with our "new scheme", so far - although perhaps we should keep a little more press-man in the coverage mix than we've shown so far -

Our defense still sucks

Victory loves preparation

We were playing backups since partway through the second quarter and FAU didn’t quit

Now, here is an intelligent observation!

fritziebuck's picture

Hmm.  Fields is fast for sure.  Needs alot of improvement in the passing game.  He's indecisive, hesitant, doesn't look like he's going through reads well.

Extramedium's picture

I’d hope there’d be some room for improvement after someone’s first start and meaningful playing time since high school. Considering all that I’d say it was an incredible game by Fields

So Happy to be watching The BUCKEYES again

Yes still plenty of room for improvement but good showing for So many Firsts

1-0. No injuries. Master Teague looks like the best back-up running back. Need a lot of things to work on. Go Bucks

aj99's picture

I think Teague is going to get a lot of carries this year. He seems to be a little bit more of a bruiser. Takes a lot to bring him down.

Frimmel's picture

He looks the part more than Dobbins or Macall but he doesn't seem to know the offense. They were moving him to the right spot a couple of times.

You've got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Lots to work on, but I also think we didn’t want to show too much because we have some big games coming up very soon. I’m fat and happy with today’s victory. GO BUCKS!!!
