Tuf Borland on a fumble return...and 11w servers melt
LOL! Wouldn't we all just shit ourselves?
Short of that, I'd like to see Dobbins house a long one.
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
I think we'd all like to see that he's capable of that
Tuf Borland on a fumble return . . . while pulling away from all of FAU's pursuing skill players.
For added server melting fodder.
Or Pete Werner causes fumble, returned by Tuf for a long TD.
Now we're talking. Thanks for the input!
Werner causes a fumble, scooped up by Borland...who laterals to BB who gets his redemption TD !
Olave on a crossing route (a la 1st UM touchdown)
Elliott dots the eye, on this national championship win.
Just because I wanted to give that play some context and watch it again... By they way.... It has been 275 days since that game... Still hasn't gotten old.
Dixon looked pretty open on that TD. Did anyone else notice that?
Also noticed the MIchigan TD passes outside outside the one blown coverage had damn good coverage by Shef; gotta tip your cap on both those throws and catches. We can complain Shef didn't look back but those two balls were on the money to Black
We had receivers open all the way out in China on that day, Ocho Cinco style.
"If Chase Young is truly bigger than I think he is and taller than I think he is, he would probably have to be the literal Predator because I've seen him with my own two eyes and I personally think he's pretty damn Sasquatchian." - Kevin Harrish
That was fun
Dobbins takes a long one to the house.
Fields of Dreams
Just no juking air in the open field so the defenders can catch up
Fields on a RPO gets the edge inside the 10 and scoots in untouched
J.K. Dobbins with a 69 yard touchdown run.
It'll be nice.
Zone read for Dobbins or Fields
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
I know it’s going to be an offensive td but a pick 6 would be really nice. I’ll still go with it Okudah pick 6
Can we get an early introduction to Garrett Wilson in the back of the endzone on a jump ball?
hope so! if not id be willing to bet Gunner Hoak will be throwing a couple td's to him in the 3rd/4th quarter
A quick 4 play 75 yard drive that ends with a 25-plus yard TD.
"Mongo only sausage in bowl of soup"
Field Goal, then the beat down begins.
Let us not forget our Vets and Troops!
Personally, I hate FGs.
Throwback to 2016 when KJ Hill caught the first TD of the season and no one (well, casual fans at least) knew who he was.
Gonna go a similar route and say Jaylen Harris. Probably less than 1% chance that happens, but would be cool if it did.
"I feel ready for whatever awaits me on the other side. I don’t fear adversity. I don’t fear the spotlight. I don’t fear success. And I don’t fear failure." - Braxton Miller
Boring answer: Justin Fields run off RPO.
To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.
82 yard drive finishing with a 30 yard pass to KJ Hill in the end zone for 6.
Enjoying daily the back to back ttun beatdowns.
Binjamin “the Giraffe” Victor catching a deep ball from Fields.
You win with people.
And so forth...
9 Units Strong!
Run DMC in the return game and D.J. Byrnes goes on an epic twitter filibuster.
Just posting and hoping my comment isn’t deleted.
I can't believe I had to scroll this far for a Run DMC declaration (with the bonus DJ Twitterplosion).
Hindsight is, and in, 2020
That was my second guess after Tuf
Heard he’s been making some big time plays in camp. Ready to see him make a big impact one way (RB) or the other (return game).
Dream: McCall taking the opening kickoff to the house. what better way to start the year that the first kickoff return for a TD OSU has had in a while!
Most Likely: RPO after a semi shakey, typical first drive. Fields keeps it, beats everyone to get the corner, runs in for aa 12 -15 yard TD.
It's got to be a TD pass to one of our tight ends...
A buddy of mine was debating how much Fields is being underestimated not only by the mainstream media, but by pretty much everyone. He is a very rare talent. His size and speed combo give him the ability to be Tebow up the middle or Braxton on the edge. Keeping defenses honest or guessing. Our playoff chances and his Heisman chances will rest upon his ability to be dangerous and accurate on intermediate and deep passes. Those 2 things should open up the entire field and put Dobbins closer to the 7 ypc again. Not many QB's can steam roll you for a tough yard and a half or burn you for 70 on a keeper sweep. If he is able to gain some rythm early in the passing game, Haskins yardage and TD records could be short lived. With that being said Fields scores the first TD himself on a keeper up the gut from 15 yards out off jet sweep motion fake to Hill to the right and a fake toss to Dobbins on the left. We are dangerous son...
I am also very excited for Fields. David Pollock was saying on the radio that he was just astonished with his talent watching him at UGA practices last year. He said his throws were jaw dropping.
Think the goal early in the season will be to keep Fields out of the middle of the field. You heard Day mention Kyler Murray when he talked about sliding. Kyler slid because he has too, Justin is just as big as the linebacker he goes up against in the open field. I don't think it will be hard to NOT create contact, but I do think they will attempt to keep him around ten carries early only on scrambles or runs to the outside. The good news about that is that is usually where more explosive plays happen. Its almost certain that there will be no one on the field that is as big AND as fast, both laterally and vertically, as Fields. I, personally, cannot think of any quarterback that fits that mold. Cam wasn't nearly as fast. Braxton wasn't as big, same with Lamar, Kyler, ect. Just go watch Ohio State players talk about Fields in interviews, they all get this sly little grin on their face. In high school, Fields averaged almost 9 yards a carry on about 15 carries a game in seven games for 920 yards and 13 TDs. If he took away all of the 3rd and 4 runs up the middle and only ran on scrambles, it would be much higher. I cannot WAIT to watch people's reaction to watching him play in games. They can simply run Madden 04 four verts and scramble every play and it would be incredibly tough to defend. Even when someone like Cardale came in in 2014, he was a guy that could run and really hurt a defense if you gave him 25 yards of open field. Look at what happened to elite defenses when you had Devin Smith 60 yards down the field who was very much in play, Zeke, and the threat that he could run. Fields can throw the ball downfield without a problem and hes 100x the rusher that Cardale is at the end of the day. Teams couldn't stop an elite back, a 60 yard deep threat, a possession receiver, and a QB with legs. Look at the Chiefs with Mahomes, they have Hill deep, Kelce is an elite possession receiver, Mahomes is mobile and you cannot ignore his legs, and NFL teams had no answer. Again, comparing Fields to Mahomes running is laughable. Fields likely cannot throw quite as far as the two QBs mentioned, but I am pretty confident he has no problem competing with someone like Dwayne in terms of arm strength
First game always seems like a limited playbook -- by design or not. Give me Hill being pushed out near the goal line after some hefty YAC with Dobbins walking in on the next play.
Punt return for a TD. (I didn’t want Tuf and Pete to take all the spears).
16 yard pass to Olave.
Okudah pick six on FAU's opening offensive drive.
"porque las estirpes condenadas a cien años de soledad no tenían una segunda oportunidad sobre la tierra."
That would get the hype train rolling.

JAYYY KAAAAYYY DOBBINS.....LOOK OUT!!!!
I want a fall Saturday in Ohio Stadium..
Fields to Olave. He's going to be the next Chris Carter. All he does is catch touchdowns.
You mean Devin Smith dontcha?
No sir. You must be a younger buck. Go google the line all he does is catch touchdowns and see who shows up. No offense to Devin Smith though.
R/O pass to Luke Farrell close to the goal line. Something nobody expects
12 yard run up the middle from Dobbins for the TD.
Run the opening kick back baby!
It has to happen again sometime right
I almost said this, but I'd rather see the pick 6 from Landers
That'll be 5 dollars
BB Landers pick 6.
This is the only correct answer
First kickoff returned for a TD. Or the defense scores first.
I would like to see the Buckeyes make LBG happy with one of the big dudes scoring first. I will go with Landers as he has been an unsung player in the trenches for heading into four years now.
Let's Go Bucks
My head says Fields on a designed run... but my heart says CJ Saunders on a 10-20 yard reception
Fields 1 yard pass
for best results, read everything i write in italics
I think it will be a 40 yard TD pass to McCall running a wheel route out of the backfield.
Buckeye Til I Die
Justin Fields with a long (40+ yards) run. FAU defense is a dumpster fire and will have no one that can catch Fields in a broken play. Bank it.
JK Dobbins up the middle from 4 yards out.
The first touchdown this year will be six points. Was this a trick question?
I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. I'm trying to win football games-- Woody Hayes
DMC screen pass.
The soldier is my son. The school I gone to didn’t teach much grammar.
Fields to Farrell from 4 yards out, via PA.
JK Dobbins on a swing pass
Class of 2010.
Slant to KJ Hill
I am going with Dobbin's running one in for a TD. I have to think that Dobbins and Fields will have a couple TDs each in the end.
Anyone remember when Antonio Williams scored first in the Indiana game in 2017. Lol
Honestly I don’t something complicated about this years. Fields drives them to the 5 and then Rolls out and runs it in the end zone. And the Fields/Day era is underway.
The Future is Bright at Ohio State
Given FAUs reported defense, I feel like someone getting loose and taking it the distance is more likely. No idea if that would be Fields tucking and running, a WR taking a crossing route or what, but it seems that'll be the case as much as I'd like to see a solid complete drive to start the season.
I'll take Justin Fields on the ground for $500 Alex.
FAU goes 3 and out on their first series, Olave blocks the punt and Banks scoops and scores.
I feel like I’ve seen that before..
First quarter--Dobbins has a couple of short runs. Then he explodes and runs for 45 plus and a touchdown. By the way, that will be the first of three touchdowns for him Saturday.
This seems to be a common theme.. has he ever taken one 45+ to the house?
Jordan Fuller with the Pick-6.
Trust me! I'm an Engineer.
Bucks win the toss. Defer to second half. Pick 6 on first play from scrimmage.
Okay gotta be unique this far down. Let's go with. . . Fields to Ruckert 15 yards for the TD. And we actually do throw to the tight ends this year?
