Ohio State is just LESS than a week and a half away from kickoff. FIFY. lol.
If you have two people that agree on everything, that only means one of them is not thinking at all.
When I was in East Lansing last year for the OSU game, I'm not sure if it was Bachie or Willekes but one of those dudes was doing warmups shirtless with a ski mask on. It was -10 degrees at field level.
Left out Dylan Moses and Isaiah Simmons, LBs from Alabama and Clemson, respectively. Gotta believe in the playoffs!
I just re-watched the MSU game from last season and heard Willekes' name way too many times. All 5 of these guys are legit players and potential game changers. That said, I have great faith in Ryan Day's coaching and ability to neutralize them and have great success.
I re-watched it yesterday, too. Agree that Willekes' name was mentioned way too often. Someone needs to tie his shoe laces together early in the game.
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
How about some pancake lessons from this man?
Oh HELL yes!
I like my pancakes firm and compacted. Nice one SAB
" It's real good whatcha done Anthony, real good ! "
Is that the homeboy that kept making Isaiah prince look like he was standing still? Yeah definitely have to gameplan for that guy... whether it’s bowen or NPF at right tackle, need to make sure they are ready to take him on and keep fields upright
Willekes made Prince infamous.
Formidable list for sure.
"The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania product decided to stay home and committed to Penn State..."
The abridged Parsons story ending, albeit factual.
Got M...igan gossip? Bang it here.
Not that these players are not good, but one of the issues OSU has had with PSU for instance is that it is the game they circle. It seems like they go all out in that game and play out of their minds. Then they collapse the following week. Position wise they are overmatched. Last year it seemed like there was a fair bit of that.
The issue is more if there are multiple elite players on a defense. Stopping one guy from beating you is easier.
Players like Willekes are why I want NPF to start at right tackle. He has the foot speed to keep up with players that can cause trouble with their speed.
This is definitely where I parked my car.
After the IU roadtrip and before The Game, it's Michigan State (Returning starters: 9 offense, 8 defense) that worries me the most.
If it was a road night game like ‘14 I would be worried too but no way that average offense beats us under the lights in The Shoe with a healthy Fields.
Willekes is a monster, he's one I'm for sure looking out for. I think our OL has the smoke to keep him at bay, but what does that open up for the rest of their defense? They're going to play very sound fundamental football, that will be a test.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
I think our schedule is a lot more difficult than people think. Fickell is going to have his Bearcat team prepared to upset us. Michigan State always plays us tough. Nebraska with Adrian Martinez will only be better than last year. Northwestern on the road, I'm sure will be a banger.
Our objective is simple: to make the state of Ohio proud.
2019 could be a season of tight games, for the Bucks.
You’re overthinking it. UC & MSU will both be blowouts at home. Nebraska’s defense is still terrible, home field advantage or not. The trickiest one is at NW. I think Day will sure this team doesn’t make the same mistakes Urban’s team made. I still feel pretty good about 12-0.
The big difference between the Buckeyes and the other teams in the B1G is that we'll have more than one or two (or even a few) elite defenders on the field this season.
We should be able to avoid going against an opponent's top corner, double a top lineman or scheme against a top backer. Our opponents will not have the same luxury. The drop off from our top defenders to the rest of our starting defenders will not be nearly as great.
And yes, I am one of those expecting a nearly complete turnaround defensively from last season -

Can you imagine if we took Bachie in the 2016 class. And Micah Parsons didn’t decide to stay home. He was all buckeye until we had to stop recruiting him. Those are two kids that could be buckeyes right now
Rivals? Nah fam....
All Glory is Fleeting
Nice to see that Lavert Hill wants to join the 0-4 club...
16-2 is SWEET!
