Some folks will remember this as the first time they saw Spielman:
I'm not going to list them all but I found 23 pre-1970 Massillon Tigers who played at OSU, which would put them in contention for the all-time top spot I'd imagine.
I can’t see the image for some reason, but I assume it’s the Wheaties box?

Legit lol here
Lifetime vs. UM: L 8-1, C 7-0, T 4-0
So Massillon has not won a single state title in any sport since 1972?
Given their contributions coming from the football program, it’s probably unfair to call them paper Tigers, but you can certainly see the argument too.
The soldier is my son. The school I gone to didn’t teach much grammar.
Wow, I would've though Massillon would be in the top 5. To many have been seduced by scUM I guess. Wonder where my Alma Mater will place...
I am never happy when a Massillon kid chooses to play for TTUN.. Ironically, both Denny Franklin and Shawn Crable had a hand in helping the Buckeyes secure a win against them. Franklin's fumble on the goal line on 4th and 1 in 1972 was key to the 14-11 win by the Good guys. In 2006 Crable's hit out of bounds on Troy extended a drive and led to the game winning field goal.
Hard to believe that Luke started off as a center and ended up as a DB. No way that happens in today's game

Same. That's amazing, really.
Massillon has been very good to the buckeyes, no question.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
he also led the team with 14 receptions in 2011
I will never get over how bad the offense was that year.
Paul Brown coached OSU to it's 1st NC in 1942. He founded the Cleveland Browns and coached there and the Bengals after he help in founding them. He played a role in breaking the color barrier in professional sports. He was credited with inventing the modern face mask, scouting opponents on film, hiring full time assistance, quizzes on the play book, a practice squad and the draw play.
Spielman STILL all time favorite buckeye amongst many - (Conley drafted by my Oakland Raiders)!
