I am the most optimistic about this group. The receivers will be great, but the D-line will dictate the season. If they can penetrate and disrupt while keeping the LB's clean this will be an outstanding season!
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
Awesome group. Our back up's would start at most B10 schools!
So.much.talent. I expect to see Vincent and Togiai take a massive step forward this season. We should see them on the field a lot.
Fields of Dreams
Vincent is going to be a very good player. Plays low and has a ton of strength.
Not sure how I feel about our starters just being our most senior players...
What's wrong with that?
Each year's crop of Frosh are always better than players with four or five years in a program, everyone knows that.
Did Young shrink 3 inches over the summer?
My predictions are much better when they concern things that have already happened, but my expectations for the upcoming season are extremely high for this group. GO BUCKEYES!
New York Buckeye
These guys are gonna feast this year! Sucks to be the opposing qbs...
2 corners 2 safeties and our best 7 D linemen blitzing. Hopefully a Rushmen plus package. Ohio state has 7 sacks as we start the second quarter of game 1. Counting the days until kickoff.
Does anyone know what injury Tyreke suffered? This is the first I have read of it. I am really excited to see what he brings to the table so such news was really disappointing.
Wise men speak because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something.
Larry Johnson could run his DLine like a fricking hockey team just have complete line changes... the depth of this group is unreal, this year and for many years to come
I too am wondering what is the injury Tyreke Smith suffered. I had not heard about that.
I don't care if they've been on campus for a week or for 5 years.. give me the best 4 guys. Like Jonathon Cooper should destroy FAU off the edge. If that's not happening... next man up.. same for the interior guys. if you aren't "eating" against a lesser opponent you are either not dialed in or not the guy..
Love the depth and the potential but here's hoping some dudes separate from the pack and demand more playing time...
Damn that is a scary depth chart. Very likely there can be a lineup of 4 former 5*players on the field at once.
You have Chase Young listed at 6'2", I'm sure you meant 6'5".
The DL is going to be the strength of this team without a doubt. They'll be able to rush upfield a lot more and that's going to generate a ton of sacks. It's up to the back 7 to be aware of screens. It's crazy that the two guys with the most upside, Vincent And Togiai, won't even be the starters.
That IS the best D-Line in college football, particularly fourth quarter and late season because the depth is so great that rest will come along with rotation!
I would rather be on hand with 10 men then elsewhere with 10,000 - Timur Lenk
