I’d like to fill out an application to live at the WHAC... where do I go to do that?
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
Is that you, Rudy?
TG Proud Buckeye alumnus.
The specialists are all making us look like a bunch of do nothing nobodies. Michelangelo would be proud. They have got to be the funniest group in all of college football.
Send the Earth Reverberating
The specialists have a thing for blondes.
Love it when a reporter asked Tiger Woods "why does he date blond models"? His reply, "Because I can".
I wanted for a while now but my wife won't let me.
I’d take my 1/1000000000 shot at Maria Taylor
Not just blondes, the *same* blonde. Are those triplets, or conformity run amuck?
Are they all dating the same girl?
Absolutely loved their recreation of the Creation of Adam. However, the Beatles Abbey Road cover needs some work. Walking the wrong direction? Everybody wearing shoes? The least that Stufflebeam could have done is helped them out when doctoring the photo /s
I agree. I’m a Beatles era guy, however, I initially thought of “I Can’t Dance” (Phil Collins & Genesis) and not Abbey Road.
Specialists are a different breed. If I remember correctly, and that is getting more difficult for me to discern these days, punter/kicker Tom Skladany (‘73-76) ate doughnuts during practices.
"Hit them hard and see how they fall"
Wow, things have changed a lot. In '76 they're eating doughnuts at practice, and in 2013 it's "What do you need water for??! We're stretching, and you're a kicker!!"
Don't ask me why/how, but in reading about/looking at the camaraderie the specialists have makes me think that at some point this coming season they'll have to deliver big...and that they'll come through with flying colors like it was nothing at all.
I agree but if they don't there will be those who point to this as screwing around instead of working. Seems like they could become lifelong friends.
The punting pretty much won us the MSU game last year.
Maria is looking pretty ok. :)
Yes, looking at the picture it is pretty easy to figure out which one played sports in college.
I was just thinking how unfair it is to anyone who has to stand next to her in a picture
At 6 AM on monday I am comfortable in saying this will be the biggest understatement I see all week.
She's not ugly.
Just how I like my coffee, black and HOT.
Hmmm, no sugar?

No sugar, nor cream.
The Buckeye specialists are definitely not very austere are they? Have fun with it guys,
I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. I'm trying to win football games-- Woody Hayes
Does it make me an ass to point out that they are walking in the wrong direction for the Abbey Road shot?
To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.
Maybe they are walking backwards. They are special after all.
Ok...so how many sacks did chase actually have last year? Forde reports 9.5, which I’ve seen before, but I’ve also seen 10.5 several times also.
You're too stupid to have a good time. -Dalton
The total is 10.5. He is talking about the 9.5 sacks Chase had after Lil Bear went down.
Gotta love it.
Per the official Ohio State stats, he had 10.5. People are continually messing this up because Sports-Reference and cfbstats.com have him at 9.5 sacks. Officially, he had 10.5.
Shamrock Towing is a bunch of cockroaches.
That's what we'd yell every time we saw one of their damn trucks go by. We'd really let them have it when they were hooking up someones car.
So glad to see Shamrock Towing getting what they deserve. I had an "apartment" in one of the old houses on the north side of Chittenden my Junior year (1977-78). I parked behind my building on the day I moved in, and got towed by them while I was walking 1 1/2 blocks up to the office to get my key and parking pass. It took me the rest of the day to find where my car was and bail it out.

Of course the Slam can't happen without cutting down the winning run at the plate in the bottom of the ninth. (a terible decision to send the runner by the twins 3rd base coach!)

1. Kip has such bad range at 2B. That first RBI single at the very least should have been kept in the infield.
2. Lindor with an absolute frozen rope to save the day, how you send the runner there with 1 out I'll never understand. Take 2nd and 3rd one out, where the Indians almost certainly would IBB the 9 hole to load the bases and you get your lead off hitter up to win the game. Saw multiple twins fans calling for 3B coach to be relieved of his duties on twitter lol
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Can't believe they challenged the play at home. That guy was 10 feet away from the plate when the ball got there..
My favorite Shamrock story was being towed from the UDF parking lot WHILE WORKING INSIDE! Looking back it's funny but at the time not so much.
Negativity is a choice.
I assume that you saw it unfold in front of your eyes?
The policy as I heard it was that once they hooked up to your car then you had to pay them to drop it back down, whether they towed it or not.
In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...
Sadly I didn't realize it until 7am when I was headed home and saw my car was gone.
Sadly I didn't realize it until 7am when I was headed home and saw my car was gone.
Has to hurt more after night shift.
That was their policy. The assholes made me pay $50 or something when they just pulled in and were about to hook it up. I literally pulled into our apartment building and put on my hazard lights as I ran up to grab something and the scumbag pulled in immediately after. Had not even got out of the truck yet when I got to my car but he was insistent that I owed him. I went off on him but the prick had a tire iron and looked like he cared less about getting an assault charge than I did.
I even had my parking permit hanging from my mirror.
When I lived on Chittenden a gal visiting me had her car hooked up by Shamrock; she ran outside and hopped in the car while the front wheels were up but before he towed the car away. He couldn't tow it with her in it and she would not get out. We all brought her blankets (it was winter) hot chocolate and food as she was there for 2 hours before the cops finally showed up. The cop told the driver he had to drop the car and leave; we all cheered wildly as he drove off with no car in tow!
That's awesome. Not only did he not get her car, but he lost out on robbing other students for 2 more hours.
Hell yes! I was towed by them several times, freaking douche bags. Two occurred at my own apartments, once on Chittenden and once on 15th. The other was probably legit but it happened in less than 15 minutes when I was getting gyro at Apollo's.

I’m surprised he’d waste that much time on one tow, he could have grabbed three or four others in that time frame
I would try Atomik Vodka-why not? And if the proceeds will really go to help that area then good for everyone involved.
JT got to learn under Drew Bree's, and now gets to watch the Seahawks in action. Even if he doesn't stick there Barrett has done alright and all this knowledge could serve him well as a coach later on.
"They say, "these geeks come a dime a dozen. I'm lookin' for the guy who's supplyin' the dimes." -Classy Freddie Blassie
If I recall correctly, Barrett was pretty adamant when he was a player that he didn’t have any desire to become a coach. People can always change their minds, of course.
Yeah, I kind of wondered at the time if part of his answer had to do with why they were asking him about a coaching career instead of his NFL prospects. Seems like he has a great coaching temperament.
I’m pretty sure he’ll end up coaching one day
How do I get my cut of the Shamrock lawsuit when they are eventually crushed ha?
If you’ve ever had the experience of meeting anybody associated with CampusParc, you are probably like me and hope that a giant anvil falls on their building with everyone inside. I remember my fiance politely asking one of their attendees where she was allowed to park during a trip to the ARC and the CampusParc attendee started giving her lip for no reason. I had to take a few deep breaths to keep myself from doing something stupid.
Under 20 days now. Go Bucks. Beat everybody

Even though it turns out Haskins should have started in 2017, JT has earned a jersey hanging in my cave. The others are Kosar and Spielman.
Not which which I’m hoping for more, but in my next life I want to be just like Blake Haubeil or my grandson... either would be grand.
Can’t wait to see the next Specialists parody pics. Those guys are awesome! Kudos to Kenton for taking it to another level.
Fields of Dreams
I avoided Shamrock for many years but they got me when I was back in town for work and a few of us went to see the Basket Bucks down at St. John. Didn't see one of those darn signs and my rental car got the hook from Shamrock that night. Dirty dogs, they are.
The only hard day was yesterday
It's unlikely Shamrock knew that you'd managed to dodge them successfully and were specifically hunting you like Ahab and the white whale to catch the one who got away.
...But I can't say that didn't happen.
Welcome home Col. Roy Knight Jr, it's been a long journey...may you... for ever Rest In Peace.
So we’ll see what happens. He’s (JTB IV) played in the big time, he’s a leader, he’s real smart, he’s got a strong-enough arm.
This has got to be some kind of typo. Thousands of Buckeye fans can't be wrong. ;-)
I am not very smart, but I recognize that I'm not very smart. --- W.W. Hayes
LOL, harley. Love me some JT, but I think the operative word in that sentence is "enough".
Well, I'll take that assessment over "weenie arm" any day.
I recall getting my mom's minivan towed by Shamrock when I went to pick something up from the campus bookstore. I was inside for maybe 5 mins.....came out and the car was gone. I was poor so I had to figure out how to get to their lot using COTA and borrow my mom's credit card lol. So nice seeing them get a taste of their own medicine.
#1 silliest thing I read on the internet today...but it's only 10:48am.
No honest person thinks it's anywhere close to likely that Barrett make the roster (the practice squad could even be a stretch)
If you read the rest of the article, you'd see what I'm talking about. There's a chance he could end up on the practice squad, but it's not as simple as you'd think.
WOW - just hearing Shamrock towing still gets my blood going... hell, they were doing this crap back in the early 80s. F@#$ing ghouls... I hope they get a judge that was towed a couple of times by these assholes...
The best thing about Pastafarianism? It is not only acceptable, but advisable, to be heavily sauced
Uniform stripes and now towing. Loving the offseason.

Redshirt freshman with more time in the program to be perfectly fair. I’m actually hoping to get to see Tate play down there
Liam is legendary. I want to be friends with that guy!
Those sons of bitches at Shamrock have been illegally towing cars since their first day in business. Take them for everything just as they have done to Buckeyes since they opened. We all have a story to tell about their shady business practices.
Love the special team photos, but I hope they gave the great Ramzy Nasrallah for his "original" Genesis Creation of our savior now President Jim Tressel?
